I think I am definitely going to learn one of these characters at least to learn and master how the game works, not sure if I’m going to stick with one of these two characters as my main for the entire life cycle of the game but as far as someone to just jump in and start learning the basics of the game with I might do one of these two characters
@TheKompetitor as a new fighting game player just getting into Mortal Kombat 1, thanks for this, I will definitely be picking one of these 2 characters up as a fresh faced beginner to the game who still needs to buy the DLC fighter pack but that’s ok I will eventually, not sure I am ready to drop $30.00 plus on it but, I will once it’s on sale for a lesser price point where I don’t feel like I am being price gouged for a pack of DLC characters
I think Johnny loses to ashrah, kenshi, kung lao, tanya, peacemaker, and raiden imo. I don't have enough nitara experience at high level, but i feel like using Khameleon would help with keeping her out of the air

What are your thoughts on reptile? Ive heard some people say hes good for a beginner
He isn't a good character competitively but his gameplan and combos aren't too difficult
