Wonderful performance, so interesting to see an athletic interpretation of the Passacaille, its a joy to see dancers take a personal approach to this beautiful 17th century dance.

Beautiful Dance and dancer, wish those people would be respectful of a performance and not walk through the scene, so annoying and disrespectful to a dancer who worked so hard on this performance

Difficult to believe this dance was performed by members of the court and aristocracy. Seems very complex and difficult.
LazlosPlane Because, this dance was created, in first for a musical tragedy ( ? ( fr : Tragédie en musique ) ), like " Entrée d'apollon " from " le triomphe de l'amour ". But, the dance was a priority in aristocratic education at XVIIe
+LazlosPlane coz it's not, of course. This solo was composed for one of the first professional dancers in France - Marie-Thérèse Perdou de Subligny for her solo tour in London with Claude Ballon in the winter of 1701-02. It's not a court dance. This solo was never performed in the opera.
Now I'm really confused. So, how does one see the dance AS IT WAS PERFORMED by the non-professional?
+LazlosPlane Alas, but have no way. It didn't remain recorded in Feuillet-Beauchamp notation. Only few couple dances for the ballroom (and country dances, of course), but also many of it marked as performed by professional dancers. In the British sources have survived dancing for the court, princes and princesses. But it was never performed in France.
And is this true of all Baroque dances? Courante, Sarabande, Gigue, etc. . .? ? ?

Перехождение сцены, однако, происходит ЗА Артистом, а не перед. Если Вы посмотрите зарубежные ролики, там народ тоже ходит в музеях и никто не удивляется.

Проходим за публикой, то бишь за камерой, или проходим под аркой и там обязательно есть комнаты и коридоры, которые позволяют идти куда хочешь! Вы не ходите между шоу и фоном, вот и все! В какой стране мы делаем такие вещи! ! Но это деталь...

Исполнение великолепное, а претензии к прохождению людей не понятны. Выступление происходит, видимо, в одном из музейных залов., мужчина в костюме скорее всего там работает и выполняет свои задачи, остальные люди простые посетители, и, учитывая аркадный тип устройства помещений во дворцах той эпохи, обойти зал проблематично,.
