A video I was looking for, I want to paint my bike black without disassembling it. Thanks for the video
After 2 hours of sandpapering the frame and 3 coats of matte black paint my bike came out like brand new without disassembling it. Thanks a lot for doing these project series, definitely helped a lot!
I want to do the same. Did you use his method or a different way? 💯💯
@@arthurwallace1118 Don't use this method lol it's dumb. If you're gonna do it, might as well do it right. Disassemble everything, tape off areas you don't want to paint like the pedals/bottom bracket. Sand with a 120 grit, paint, clear coat, give it a week, then reassemble.
There's nothing more satisfying than getting a sticker off in one go
Aww no the rain. Man Tony you can't catch a break from the weather this whole build. Way to power through and give us another great video.
i though i couldnt but after watching this i ll attempt. thx forvthe inspiration 😅❤
That’s super cool man! Personally I tear the bike down to the frame wet sand it prime it, paint it, clear coat etc. But this is great for the guy who just wants to change the colour of their build and build it custom
Yup! For most paint jobs a tear down is necessary. But on something like this there’s just no need for it.
what number sand paper? 1200? 1000?
This video sums up what Bike Berry really is.......................
Painting starts @6:15
Yes!!!! I've been waiting lol. I love black 😜
Glad to see you Tony. Keep up the good work. ⚙️🚲⚙️
Thanks a lot!!! I was looking to do this, so, you already solve my life!!!😊
Looking good!
It does the job
I've just painted a bike and I used a 400 grit which worked really well. I think 40 grit it too aggressive
What paint did you use?
@@Atemoya26 black primer and gloss and clear lacquer
Brooo 😮Plasti dip would have been perfect for this As it can be pealed of any parts you painted allong in the process
Impressive! How long did it take in hrs/days?
With Black being your style, you should ask your girl to give you a shiner, with her mascara of course.
It would be the ultimate ratar acc.
hahaha using a WW2 mess kit knife...
Bom dia saudações do Brasil. Oque você acha de correia dentada na bicicleta?
Hey brother I need you to look at my coaster break video. I was going to go back to our old conversation but I’m sure your busy. Hope you see this ASAP. And please let me know.
It’s actually easier to take the wheels off and tape the cables and engine faster if ya good at it but taking wheels off makes it faster don’t have to work around tires
And then gas gets on spray paint aNd strips it
Haha that might happen here. It hasn’t on my other bike yet. 😊
Can you link to the second video?
Slow smooth moderate speed 6inch away bout pecker length for the unendowed lol and long strokes then shake it repeat
Which spray brand did You use? 😮
What paint did you use?
That’s too funny at least pull the wheels 😊
Hey Roger! Haha yup. In the video I said I’ll end up doing that as I move along with the project. 😊
@@tonytaylor5087 thanks for the reply Tony have a blessed Sunday

24/7yod bike help it feels like a ghost is molesting my inner Back of thig 🥵⚜️☁️⚡
Well...nope!
I just stripper a bike and used paint remover, that's the hard way.
The easy way is just strip it & grind it for painting, everything less than that is just messing it up.
Boy…… them fenders maybe they’ll stay but if they don’t……. Headache bad headache when it flips ya. It’s a notorious thing with bike not just coming undone but eventually the metal cracks and that can cause it
To fall depends on where it breaks at due to vibration that is if it breaks behind mounts, those support struts well the become the enemy wrap up in tire suck fender into wheel locks it up and goodbye ass! Them bike lands on ya and dry humps ya leg
I see what you are trying for, a quick fast paint job (rat rod style) it just rubs me wrong. It looks like a sloppy careless painter who doesn't really care how it turns out. Sorry I don't buy it. If you want to paint your bike have some pride and disassemble it, proper prep, primer and quality paint, otherwise it ends up looking like a POS. My opinion.
I hear ya brother, this is just step #1. It’ll get more finished as I move along in the build. Many more layers to come. Appreciate you being here 😊
@@robertkoenig3925 exactly, I spent the hours when properly painting my cruiser czcams.com/video/nctnNMi1yJY/video.html
But if that’s all you got it’ll work…
“Its white not black” what are you justin trudo?

🤡
No, just NO.
Only a guy named Butch could do a paint job this bad and think it’s good…
Man, this is not the way to paint a bikes..OMG 🤦♂
