On this week of life by the bow we venture out to the Reef in search of the delicious Hogfish. While most people prefer to Spear Hogfish, we prefer to catch them on hook and line in a very unique way. Check out the video to see how and why we do it the way we do. After hog fishing we take a visit to the Mosquito bank Sandbar to kick back and relax before we head home, clean the fish, and prepare our delicious Hogfish piccata.  - Zábava

Free hand snorkel fishing video was a first and it did NOT disappoint. Great footage and tutorial. It's videos like this that make me yearn for an early retirement and a new boat located in beautiful waters!

Love me some hog fish. Fun to spear them. What you were using is a handling. A yoyo has a spring in it and are usually used off docks or on over hanging limbs on a river. You pitch them out when the fish hits it releases a little lever and the spring self winds the line back up to a set point.

You guys are living the life . Keep up with the good content and videos. We have a had to cancel all our dive trips and offshore fishing for a while till this covid crap lays down a bit. Sucks being landlocked and being from the coast it is hard not being able to go back when my scales dry out...we enjoy the videos and have to live vicariously through you haha.

I watch a lot of y'alls videos. I love the area where you live. We didn't make it down during 2020, I want to this year. One caution for you, a FWC officer told me a few years ago that when the bag limit is met by one angler they can't keep anymore fish. I told him that is not what people do, everyone on the boat fishes until the total limit is caught. He told me that was illegal. Videos are hard to argue with.

Love your channel. Nice selection for the underwater music! I know Stephanie was using zucchini noodles to cut carbs. Have you ever tried cauliflower "grits"? I make it with shrimp for a low-carb dinner, and honestly you can't tell it's not grits. Let me know if you want the recipe!
Oh yeah she loves cauliflower she actually used it in our latest video check it out!

I don't know HOW you keep your boat so clean with all the blood! :-) For cauliflower "grits" I cut 1/3 of a head of cauliflower and rice it in the food processor then set it aside. The other 2/3 gets steamed until it's nice and soft. I process that with roasted garlic and a little butter until it is like mashed potatoes, and then add the riced cauliflower in to blend. Looks and tastes just like grits!

Guys sorry to be a party pooper..... but you guys waste so much fish! You aren't utilising a lot of the great meat found in the head. At the very least you could cut out the beautiful cheeks before throwing the carcass away. Mutton snapper and hog fish have huge heads, filled with big delicious cheeks and head meat. Please consider this in future. Keep up the great videos👍
