Yay! I saw Adam's posting about his 5 year old daughter and tools that fit her...I'm so glad she will be getting that cool little hammer! Great choice Tony!
same!
Thanks guys. She's excited! She giggled at the way Tony said our last name.
@@adamrasmussen6087 Lol...that is so wonderful! You should consider doing a reaction video when she gets the hammer. I'm sure we could all use a smile these days...
Gracias por compartir tu información
Tony, just finished the second Newsboy Hat for my daughter-in-law and granddaughters and they are ecstatic! Now I will get started on the Flat Cap. You are so creative and awesome! My family love you and your creations! Thank you.
Truly inspirational tutorials Tony. Not only do you have a fantastic presentation to your style. You have a wonderfully dry sense of humor. What can I say, educational and entertaining.
Yes agreed about Tony's choice for the tiny hammer. I commented about it for my ten year old because she's a fan and started her own leather craft business but glad to hear that it's going to an even younger kid!!! Way to go Tony and keep up the fantastic work.
I got into leather work over the summer holidays and this is the most serious project I’ve done. It taught me a lot of new stitches and I’m so happy with how it turned out.
Congrats to Adam's Daughter and I will definitely be getting this pattern this week, be a good use for some of the lighter weight leather I have. Thanks again Tony !!!
Just finished this project. Pattern was easy enough to follow. I am looking forward to doing a few variations with different color leather and thread combos. Thanks again Tony and keep bringing us more amazing content
Lovely hat. Distinctly Tony! Innovative pattern too. Congratulations to the future leatherworking competition on her newest tool that fits her hand! I have small hands so I know how important it is to find hammers and tools that don't make your hands hurt from being too big or heavy to use comfortably.
Thank you Tony, hats speak to my heart...this style is a fave...I truly appreciate your patterns, the tutorials and most certainly, YOU....thanks again.
Thank you Tony. I just bought the pattern on etsy. I'm going to try and make this out of buffalo. You do great work on your patterns. Make this hobby so easy for use new to it.
I bought this pattern on etsy, I didn’t know about the you- tube channel. The pattern is perfect! In combination with the video- tutorial it’s amazing. I made this hat for my Dad, and it turned out beautiful (the sizes are absolutely exact). I’m looking forward to try my hands on more of your projects. It‘s clear to see how much work and love of detail you put into this. Thank you.
Thanks Tony, This was the first pattern that I purchased but finished things for others for christmas. I made this for me in about 9 hours on Christmas day (3pm to midnight) and it was quite straight forward. a custom haf with your choice of thread and leather for under $20CAD. You can't beat that.
Just made this hat as my first big leather project! It was a blast and turned out pretty good! Thank you for a great design Tony!
This is a very nice looking hat, and pattern. I imagine how much easier it would have been years ago, had I found your videos. Now I watch them for entertainment and to learn how to teach my daughter. Thank you
This is such a work of art! Impressive, really well executed!
Have all the pieces cut and holes punched. Thank you for answering questions so quickly. It looked complicated but watching this video really makes it easy to cut and sew.
FIRST… Tony, thank you! This was definitely my most challenging leather project yet, and thanks to your outstanding pattern and video tutorial I was able to complete it no problem! PRO TIP: when punching the holes, in order to easily reference the visor end holes on the band, I used a diamond stitching iron to make those two holes instead of my round punch. This made lining everything up during construction very easy.
Thank you again, Tony!
Tony, I've made a few of your patterns and they are outstanding. Even if they weren't, I think your amusing mannerisms would still sell me on your patterns. Thanks for what you do.
I just finished my second one of Tony's Flat Caps. I am always blown away by the perfect execution of Tony's designs! Tony, thank you so much!!
Really enjoy your videos. They fill in any gaps of techniques being used. Love it!
I just made this for my youngest son and this tutorial was super easy to follow. The pattern is tightly designed and easy to stitch.
8:27 Stole the words right out of my head. I was JUST going to comment how this project is perfect for lazy ppl or procrastinators because you still have a sweet leather visor if you stop. 😃👍
Another killer pattern! you're keeping me busy in my workshop, I love it!
Congats Adam! Awesome gift Tony... very cool
I've just finished mine today 💪... excellent pattern, Tony 👍
I'm a new subscriber and also new to leather crafting. This has given me hope. I have so much leather and tools but don't know what to make. I recently purchased this pattern and the ladies handbag pattern. I have hats like this but made of fabric. If I can pull this off it will be great. Thanks for the knowledge and the laughs.
Hey Tony, your presentation is awsome. Simplified illustration mild humor, man i love it, became your fan dude. Expecting many more from you.
I did it. The patterns and instructions are great. Thank you, master!
Oh Tony, this is fabulous. I work with 6 fellows in the Quality Lab that would love to get this hat. Thank you so much for the pattern.
Thank you for taking the effort to post this an d your encouraging words - well done. 🙏
I don’t know if I will ever make this but I could listen to you all day
You are so unique pleasing your students! Love it and will add pattern to my collection
Beautiful work and tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
After I made this hat I received more compliments than from any other item I have made. The pattern is simple and easy to make. Very happy.
@mike Kratz, do you find the hat warm to wear? Surely much warmer than material. Too warm?
Congratulations! Excellent Pattern!
Just completed my flat cap and am very happy with it. The instructions were good without boring me to tears. One point I would make is when you are shaping the bill, make sure the grain side is facing down as this is really the only part you will see.
I made that mistake
Thanks Tony! I've been asking you for one of these ever sense you put out the Newsboy cap!
LMAO "We're making a hat. We're not trying to make a helmet here." I laugh because I made the 8-panel Newsboy hat with the only chrome tanned leather I had at the time and it was 6-7 oz. It was SO hard to stitch but I got it and it "looks" perfect. Problem is, I actually asked friends if they wanted a Newsboy hard hat. Listen to Tony because he knows best and makes perfect patterns! Just bought this pattern this afternoon so I'm excited to get started.
I have seen your work you are a amazing Craftsman and I did not realize you had a channel here I am a fan of your products
You are awesome. I never watched your video before. Very informative and entertaining. Thanks so much.
Hi Toni, first of all, thank you very much for your great videos and your really good patterns. I like your style and the extraordinary leather work you share with us. I tried my hand at the flat cap (in Germany we call it Schiebermütze) and downloaded the pattern. And as you say in your video: "The last stich will be the hardest". It was like that, I redone it 2 times. But I think the result turned out okay. Next I will try my hand at the steampunk vest and look forward to the videos and ideas from you that are still come. Thanks from Germany, Mike!
Hi Tony
Love your work and approach to the audience , your a very enjoyable to watch and remind me so much of Antonio Banderas
Great give away and awesome hat!
Beautiful designs and patterns.
You just need to produce your own music, and you are done. What a Pro, Antonio!
Outstanding Tony, going to enjoy making these for sure. Thank you Sir :)
Тони, Благодарю, Вас за предоставленную выкройку и подробное видео! с первого раза все получилось сшить! успехов Вам и процветания!
Again amazing thank you Tony.
Absolutely love your videos. You make so many amazing things. I really hope I am this good someday. I think I make pretty good stuff. But to be able to make things this good would be awesome.
Hey tony I really love you work.. I just started leather crafting and wanted to get into designing my own patterns.. how about a video on how you design your bag patterns.. really appreciate it thank you!
Bought the pattern. Worked out pretty well. The wife likes it, and that's the main thing. Didn't see the size of the stitching punch before making the hat though. I usually use a home made pricking iron which is great for wallets but made the fold over part harder than it needed to be... punch set is in the mail.
Dude you are such a bad ass! I can’t wait to get started on this project so I can look as cool as you!!!
I have been looking for this style of Cap recently, and can't find one I like. I have also been thinking about what my next leather work project might be, when I came across your video. I am now looking forward to making myself a cap. Thanks for sharing all this, and for supplying the pattern. Liked and subscribed. Paul UK
one of the best work I have seen

These are amazing.
Greatest opening in cinematic history.
Esse É um Verdadeiro ARTESÃO, que trabalho LINDO, É um MESTRE com muito TALENTO!!! Aprendi muito !!!
Excelente trabajo y me inspira para seguir con la marroquinería. Gracias Mónica desde Colombia
I have a cloth one I bought years ago. I need to replace it... now I want to make one!
Just finished my first one of these. One detail to note: you use the corner holes on the bill twice. Once to connect the bill to the sweat band, and then again when you attach to the top. It's a little tricky to see in the video. Fantastic pattern.
Love your videos
Love your creations...❤️❤️❤️🇵🇷
Thank you for sharing
This incredible sir is..incredible!
Brilliantly desinged pattern
Just finished making this hat
I trust you Tony! Let’s stitch away!!
Beautiful
mulțumesc, faceți mult mai multe design-uri de top de top, ca întotdeauna. mult apreciat
Very nice project. Before I buy the patern I’d like to know if there will be any problem if I make all the project with vegtan leather.
AWESOME hat again! Next up to Tony’s Page & buy the patten! Can wait to start the build!
That man I married wants this cap. It's a good pattern.
Tanna Eros you can buy it soon on Esty under DreamWarriorsDesign
Congratulations to Adam and his 5-year-old!
Very nice.
I’m thinking to buy your pattern and want to know if it’s possible to make with 3 to 4 oz crazy horse leather.
Well, I was always afraid of making caps and hats so I never did but seems like I am going to start.
Кепка супер!!! Обязательно сделаю.
I love you. No homo but i love you for all this tutorials and patterns
Thanks!
I definitely will try to make this, wanted to make my own for a long time. One question, is there a reason why you use very little glue in almost all your videos?
Two questions: 1. Did you edge coat the pieces of the grey version? 2. Did you add an accent layer to the underside of the brim on the brown one? Off to order leather now!
Hi Tony, How many hours does it take you to get a patter perfect. Do you do mock ups in leather or do you card stock to make sure the pattern is perfect.
I really want those long needles you use, which are they?
I like the needles you use .What sizes are they? Can I get them on Amazon?
Child labor .... you crack me up. Thanks, and I need a cap.
Hi Tony, Making this hat now but is the band a cross stitch and is the cros on the inside? Can really see that i the demo.
Very nice indeed, I think doing somethings more when I'll do that (I've just buy the pattern) as skiving the french seam (of the top) and the border of the cap too, doubling stitching points on each connexion of parts (as to the back, to the visor, etc...) just in case ;) Thank you Tony for this video, I'll show you on my Instagram when it'll be done ;) Take care
Hi Tony, I want this to be the first hat I make, and I have some Suede I would like to use. Would the Suede be suitable and easy to use for this pattern? I have a firm natural veg tan kangaroo leather for the sweat band and brim (front bill). Thank you.
Nice!
Love you sir
i'm from Bangladesh
Bonjour..je voudrais savoir l'épaisseur du cuir de la visière et du tour de tête. Merci
Child labour is how we start... beautiful Tony
How do you know how round to make a curve on a template to make it curve the way you want when it's stitched together?
O thank you soooooo much sir
What's going on with the underside of the bill on your chestnut cap? Is there an extra piece? How do you attach it?
hi tony can you tell me what size thread you are using i jst bought some that was 1mm but it looks way smaller than the one you use thank you for all of your work
It is 1 mm
