  • That's right NavaTheBeast and Kyle back went at it again but instead of doing the Marine PFT we both tried to knock out the Air Force PT test or the USAF fitness test. This is NavaTheBeast's first time attempting to do the Air Force PT test. If you guys are curious to see how we did in this Airman vs Marine video be sure to watch until the end! Thanks for supporting the US armed forces! God Bless!

Yep; we all know that marines are generally more physically strong while airmen are generally more academically strong. In the end, though, the differences are small and are really more due to the differences in specialty. Marines need to be more physically strong because of their increased combat role. Airmen have a lot more jobs that are less physically demanding, but require more intellectual capability. However, both branches require both qualities. In the end, both are part of the United States military.

Sadly the USAF refuses to build any tradition to fall back on. We couldn’t even keep the old Gen. Hap Arnold “Wing” wings, as a symbol, and ended up with a computer graphic that looks like a facsimile, or silhouette of the Medal of Honor, with ribbon! Between the Hoorah’s, Oorah’s, and Semper Fi of the other Forces, other than Navy and Coast Guard. We have very little representative of our past, good or bad. As a former Army, G.I. Brat, and with many current Marine friends, I feel aware of this often, but heck, make no difference I am still most proud of being a retired USAF, member, with or without heritage, to brag on, boast or otherwise show, I am “USAF PROUD”! Hey, there is a term to build on, free gratis. (Gen. Curtis Lemay, former SAC Commander may have said something similar, in the past
      though)
I have talked about this over the years with several Vietnam Era, USAF enlisted Veterans and most have similar feelings.

But I respect that, where a lot of these people military or not see one flaw, which may not even actually be a flaw and use it to try and bring you down. Which is human nature I guess. In my opinion, even before I joined the Armed Forces, I believed you shouldn't talk down on pretty much anyone who has served, because they made the sacrifice that the accuser didn't, which is risking their lives VOLUNTARILY I might add, to selflessly serve their country. That to me gets the most out of my respect. Sorry for the long message (late night rant since i'm in the states) but good job to you guys, and keep the videos coming!
