At 14:12 - 14:16 the hard-park, the camera angle, and the way the breeze carried the smoke away revealing that thing...... WOW! It was in absolute harmony. And probably one of, if not the best shots I've ever seen here on TheHoonigans
Man, those Nascar type motors have a special RIP sound when the throttle gets blipped; I just love it, especially in an early Mustang body !!

Absolutely love this thing and major respect for what he is doing with the suspension. Its nerdy and complicated but when you get into it the art of good suspension is amazing.

I love this video - you've got a genuinely good guy talking about something he loves and does extremely well, the Hoonigans love the car because it's awesome, and then they help him get outside the box. It was great to watch Mike "do something he normally doesn't do". Good on you guys, keep up the stellar content

This is the best looking Mustang ever!
Mike Maier is one of the nicest, and smartest, people I've ever met. I filmed his car for BIG MUSCLE on /DRIVE. (He also built the cantilever suspension for Vaughn's RTR-X). He took me for a ride in this car when it only had the 289 in it, and was railling on a canyon, sliding a few inches here and there. The car stuck like glue. He's podiumed at Optima Street Car too, against people with far bigger budgets. The guy can engineer, build, and drive, and he's super chill. Great human.
Mike Maier is always one of the nicest guys out at goodguys, always giving good advice and will even ride with you if you ask to give pointers on driving. looks like he was like that with you guys over at hoonigans.

This is a very well known car... I love the rocker arm coilover rear suspension he designed so he could slam it down lower and still have some suspension travel. Looks good with the new wheels and redesigned wing. An epic 'Stang like this and a clever guy like that make for a serious contender

Right, MCM already did that, my memory is great, but short.
However, i was considering more of a road-legal car than a drag-race car, which they did.
A Porsche-engine would be cool aswell, hence they are already mounted in the back, but that would probably be more expensive to swap.
+Vursten1337 only reason MCM went drag is because Australian car laws + requirements. To hard to gain Registration and Insurance plus cost
