When my sister was 15 years old her friends invited her to go hang out. My dad told her no she couldn’t. Shortly after her friends left they were all killed in a accident. My dad had a gut feeling that something was going to happen. Sometimes parents have a vision or a esp moment. I have with my children. I’m glad he told her no. She respected my dad authority and didn’t argue or beg. Kids today don’t respect their parents they beg and whine or throw temper tantrums to get what they want. Kids some advice parents aren’t trying to be mean they are loving you and know what is best for you. Please respect their decisions it will help you in life and don’t forget parents were young at one point and maybe grew from their mistakes and don’t want you to go through what they did. Their the only parents you have treasure them while you still can
So true ! I had a gut feeling the first time I saw our son reverse hubby’s car down the driveway for him. I was horrified…..hubby said he was just letting him get used to it before he started driving and got a license, he wasn’t on the road. Something about that day still sticks with me as when he was 18 he was killed in a freak car accident, he was such a careful driver, never hooned or sped, like many of his mates. He needed his car to get to university so he was extra careful. ALL his mates changed their driving habits after he died, knowing how careful he was. It’s like I had an inner knowing that he would die in a car accident, remembering the way I felt that day, I went cold and had such a weird horrifying feeling. I will never forget it, and I miss our son so much…..it’s been the only time in my life I have ever had a feeling like that….apart from the afternoon he was killed and we were racing to the hospital….. 💔💔💔
@@shaz8486 I’m so for your loss. My heart goes out to you. You will be in my thoughts. A parent just knows.
@@barbyjeancraig8425 thank you, yes I agree, a parent has a gut instinct that is totally instinctually specific to our children. It’s crazy, but it’s just a feeling that doesn’t compare to others. Must be the unconditional love we have for our children, and it just grows. 💔
@@shaz8486 I'm so very sorry. I can't imagine the kind of pain you live with every day. Sending hugs and love to you 🕊💗
@@MrLarrySunshine thank you….it’s something for me that hasn’t become easier with time, if anything it’s worse. It’s a parents worst nightmare in living technicolor. It’s a club I pray no other parents ever have to be a member of 🕯🙏🏻💔🕊
This all went down less than 2 minutes away from the street I grew up on. I heard about this so much as a kid and I am thrilled to finally see a CZcamsr putting a spotlight on it!
So who do you think did it ? 🤔🗣?
@@jessicamartinez241 right, tell us Casey. 😅
So who do you think it was??
The Sanborn brothers but the cops don’t have enough evidence to prove they did it.
What did you grow up hearing?!
i’ve been emailing youtubers about this story for YEARS this happened in my town and i’ve been fixated since i learned about it. THANK YOU for speaking about ashley she deserves justice
I have been considering sending CZcamsrs a case from my hometown. A young girl was taken in the late 80’s off her front porch and her mom just recently passed away. Over the years new theories would pop up but led nowhere. Then some letters were found that put a couple people in jail but then released when things didn’t line up. Then we had a major flood a few years ago and bones were found washed up along a river and it was in the area people felt this girl would have been buried if still in the area so everyone got their hopes up that at least the family had a body to bury, but ended up not being her. Her mom died recently and it’s probably the most well known police investigation in our area. Parents were terrified. My older brother was just a year younger than this girl. Our town population was only around 18,000-20,000 people at the time surrounded by tiny rural towns. I returned to my hometown after college. I’m now almost 41 and still think about the girl.
@@2nicnag2 what was her name if you don’t mind me asking? id love to look into the case. you should definitely email some youtubers about her!
This story is so relatable. As a teenage I remember my mom being so protective of me. I wasn’t allowed to go to sleepovers, I couldn’t go out on school nights and growing up in an area with so many gangs and bad people my mom would always remind me to stay away from certain people. But just like Ashley in this case, I didn’t listen. I’m lucky and blessed that I never got into any trouble and I never got hurt but I could have. Now that i’m in my mid twenties I think back to my younger self and I wish I would have just listened to my mom. Moms like mine are angels and they just want what’s best for their kids.
Same, I look back and loathe my teenage self...gave my sweet angel parents SO much grief. 32 now and I still apologize/thank them constantly. It's a miracle I never went to prison. And I'm ADOPTED. They put up with all of that, heart attack inducing grief...for me, some strangers kid that got left on their doorstep lol. Earth ANGELS. Period.
@@imag218 epigenetics may have played a role in your behavior, it's an interesting subject and shows that a lot of our behavior is beyond our control.
My husband and I talk about this all the time. It's so funny how you hate your parents for not letting you do things and you don't get it as a kid. Then you become a parent and are thankful for all of it, and you just pray your kids listen better than you did.
Similar. I would sneak out and take rides from strangers. "Friends of friends" thank God they never attempted anything.
My mom was hard to deal with growing up. She only let me go with certain people and that was like a whole 3 people. I was always so angry at her and didn’t treat her the best due to everyone being allowed to do stuff but I wasn’t. It was embarrassing. Now that I’m a mother I get it and I was kinda the same way but I have found that fine line and it works for my family. My son is 18 now and my daughter is 16. As long as she’s not sneaking out with grown men like I did at 16 and doing the other things that I done then I’m good. My kids are good kids and I’m proud of them and the fact that they tell me so much because I couldn’t do that with my mom. I love my mom and she’s always been there for me and not once did she turn her back on me even in my darkest craziest moments. I love you momma! ❤️
Can't believe how huge your channel has gotten Christina... I've been watching you since you had under 30k. Congratulations on your hard work!!!💕
Same here! She is the booooossss❤️
Same here she's awesome❤️❤️❤️
My daughter is 1 and everytime she hears Christina's voice her head turns to the TV and smiles 😭💓
Me too!! So proud of her!! So deserving!! Since her prison experience video, I forget what channel it was, she was on maybe that lockdown123 I can't remember..then found that video. ❤️ We all family now
Omg same!!! I'm so used to going to her videos automatically, I never even noticed she hit the millions!!! YAY AND CONGRATULATIONS!!! so we'll deserved because this channel really has always been the bomb!!!!
Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful our girl Christina is! Like she's beautiful inside and out. She makes my day when I see a new upload from her! ❤️
Definitely. .and her hair like that 😍
Yes shes gorgeous I luv the color top she has on and a beautiful facial glow!!
I love this hair color on her. She's one of my favorites to watch, I don't think I've ever missed an upload! We love her 💜
I can so relate to this story, I was wild at 15, in the late 80's/90's, with parents who didn't keep track of me or care to. I did ALL the stuff, and many times I would wake up in strange beds or passed out on lawns. All I can say is I must have had a guardian angel watching over me who kept me from the same fate as Ashley. Now, as a parent, I was much stricter with my kids. Because I saw so much more than any teenager should. We think as teenagers we know everything, but we really are so innocent and so easily taken advantage of, because we trust our peer group. I can say my kids grew up well, as I told them all I went through, and I was lucky enough they listened. And when I said no, it was because I loved them enough to keep them safe. I didn't put them in a bubble, kids need to be kids, but parents know your kid's peer group.
🙏🏽🙏🏽✨🙏🏽🙏🏽
Were both your parents addicts by any chance or just very lenient
@@vaimende No, that at lest would have given them an excuse. They were just self-centered and Narcissistic.
@@9KfiEegsNqNJx_O46O8eiQ sorry to hear this I'm sure deep down you all live each other despite this
Wow I hope nobody took advantage of you on one of the nights you were passed out. But looks like all turned out well, and you are a mom now with kids who listen! ♥️ my mom always tells me don’t just pray to God for a husband and kids, but pray for a good husband and good kids
I'm from Maine originally and was born in '84. I remember this happening and how terrifying it was for everyone in the community. I would love to see this case solved. The city is pronounced "sah-co" (rhymes with taco!). You are such an amazing and talented storyteller Christina, it has truly been a joy and an honor to watch you grow as a person, and to see your channel grow with you as a result. ❤
lol I caught that to.. from wells Maine haha
‘84 gang what’s up! ✋🏾🤣 ‘02 HS grad
I’m not NB Canada border town to Maine I remember when I was about 7-8 my family went on a trip to Saco Maine we went to see a statue I can’t remember his name What is it may be Paul Bangly not sure of the spelling.
The winters are kind of tough up there in Maine, aren't they?
Christina you should cover the case of Celina Mays! The 12 year old who went missing in December of 1996 and she was 9 months pregnant when she went missing! She’s still missing to this day… fascinating case and I don’t see any coverage on it on CZcams
I think I’ve watched a video about that! Didn’t she say something like “thanks for everything i love you guys” after eating a bowl of ice cream before heading to bed?
i just looked it up and it looks like there isnt much to explore with it, many of the key people are dead, the church the family went to is long defunct and the police know nothing more than the day she disappeared.
Noor Jasmine, another great CZcams channel, did a 30 min video on Celina Mays. Worth looking up. I'd link it here if CZcams still allowed links to be shared.
@@darladawn1111 Yess I've watched a lot of her videos including the one about Celina. She's a great storyteller too
@@darladawn1111 I was just about to comment this. I absolutely love her
You deserve every bit of the growth your channel is experiencing right now!! Finally getting the attention you deserve! You have a heart of gold!!
Yes to everything in this comment! ❤
Absolutely ❤️
Yes she does
However deary, it seems a little bit sucking up how you put your valuable point over
Possible to use just a little less sickly sweet in future dear
Bless you ✨✳️🙏
I agree. There are so many true crime podcasters, but none with the same personality or realness
@@mes1220 totally disagree with you. It was not overtly sickly at all!
I grew up the next town away from Saco, and I’ll never forget it. Thank you Christina for bringing awareness back to this story. Someone needs to be held accountable.
I grew up in Westbrook and remember this so vividly still!
Biddo here lol
Oh wow are you from Biddeford?
I'm from Ellsworth Maine!! Whoop whoooop!!!!
Also from Maine!
I love the way you always give a kind and useful lesson for teens who might be watching and how their parents are trying to protect them. A lot of stories lately proving that parents are just trying to protect their kids and teens naturally rebel, but there is a limit for their own safety
Ashley was actually one of my cousins. When everything happened, I was really little but I remember my grandmother having a nervous breakdown and having to go to the psych ward because of it. She had also lost 2 of her 3 children, with the 2nd passing away not very long before Ashley's murder. So when that happened it just kind of triggered everything and resulted in a pretty bad nervous breakdown. I didn't understand what actually happened until I was older.
Im so sorry. 😣 GOD bless. 🙏🙏
Wow!! I'm so sorry! Your poor family. and Grandma! 💔Her heart could not handle all that pain at once.
I’m so sorry for your entire family 💔
Who do you and your family think did it? My condolences 💐 to you and your family.
HUGS❤
I think what you said near the end is exactly why it’s good to do unsolved cases and bring awareness to them. It gets the word out and is a way police could potentially get more information. It’s a long shot, but there’s always a chance!
I'm going to agree with you because in some of the comments some people were kids when this happened and now remember things so yeah it's always good to bring awareness back to cold cases because who may not have wanted to speak back then just might want to speak now
Anytime my 16 year old son asks me if he can stay at someone’s house I always call the parents to make sure they are going to be there. These teens can be sneaky 😬
Yea I mean she was smoking and drinking in the 7 grade that should tell you a lot about the parents
This is my fiances cousin. We think and the family believes that both Jason and Daniel are involved. So sad. We feel like this definitely could have been solved already. We don't think it was Steven either and agree with your thoughts ❤ thank you for covering this case!
YES! I’ve wanted a popular CZcamsr to cover this for years now. Ashley CAN’T be forgotten! Everyone knows who did it but the police don’t have enough hard evidence. It’s so frustrating!!
Side note- it’s pronounced Sock-o.
Who do they think it was??
Please share on who you think it was!
The Sanborn brothers. This was and still kinda is a big story here in Maine.
Yea, that’s what think!! She didn’t say whose DNA was in the condom or if Ashley had had sex that night, I think that’s two points that are pretty important🤦🏻♀️
@@ThatSaraGirl The younger brother makes the most sense to me. He liked Ashley, but she liked his older brother. Jealousy is a strong motive for murder.
1.23 MILLION subscribers?!?!?! Hell yes girl! Well deserved! I LOVE your content.
"Please do not show hate to anybody...anywhere" my favorite part of the videos!❤❤❤❤❤
my fav part too!! everytime she says it i just be like "yessss ma'am preach"
No matter who did these things it's just sad that two families have to live with a piece of themselves missing.
Ashley's family at least knows she's dead, they found her body. But Tony's family having no answer and being the secondary story it's heartbreaking.
Girl, you quickly became my favorite CZcamsr❣️
You are so amazing keep it up the sky

Mine too!! 💜
Same here!
Same for me. ❤she’s amazing. We love being her babies!!
You need to do the unsolved case of the 2 missing teen girls from Carrollton Texas 1990s. Just graduating and disappearing. Car was found with their things inside in a popular area. Feels like cops did nothing.
Omg. I live in Lewisville which is next to Carrollton! My drs are all in Carrollton! I never heard about this one but I wasn’t living here in the 90’s.
Ok it’s Stacie Maddison and Susan Smalley. I do remember them telling me about this. That would be great to do an investigation into this.
Oh wow. Never heard of this! I grew up in Allen! I think she should also cover the Christina Morris case. I knew here via mutual friends & my ex was good friends with her boyfriend Hunter at the time. I wish that asshole Enrique would confess to killing her!
@@kadenhiggins9338 I worked at a salon a decade ago on the border of Lewisville/Carrollton and never knew this story either! I do miss the wonderful Asian food there😎👌💥 *edited for spelling correction*
Yes those are them & Stacie’s mom disappeared with them as well. Bailey Sarian covered this case. So sad & strange
At first I thought it was one of the Sanborn boys but after hearing Christina's theory I'm kinda going that way. Such a shame to lose two young people and hopefully someone will speak up. Those friends definitely know who did it!
Thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad to see you cover this case. I live less than ten minutes from where Ashley was found and pass that spot on the road often, and I know a few people who knew her. Thank you for sharing her story ❤️
As a local of the Saco area, thank you for covering Ashley's story!
Thanks for the story, Christine. You look "Pretty in Pink"! Love your braids, too! Such a sad ending to this story when the parents cannot put closure to the loss of their daughter. 😔
Most teenagers are horrible, and they don’t even know they’re being horrible. I have had three teenagers, all were horrible. They grew out of being horrible to being amazing adults. Anyone struggling with horrible teenagers, please don’t throw your hands up. Don’t give up. They will get over it. ❤️
Hopefully with today's technology they solve this case and the guilty are brought to justice! Those keeping secrets feel guilt they can't ignore anymore. So incredibly sad and scary!! Complete horror!
Girl you hit the millions 💥👏💥👏yayyy youuuu ! You deserve it so much your story telling relaxes me so much . You are made for this 😊
Been here since your prisons stories started about 4 years ago . Lol I found you on Facebook and immediately had to find you on CZcams . I had to resubscribe a thousand times because CZcams kept unsubscribing me from you lol 😂. But I still always watched and enjoyed and then it finally stuck and I’ve successfully been subscribed for like a year now lol . Thank you for always bringing us joy with your videos and I’m happy that you spread nothing but love and kindness for other and the way you tell a story… absolutely amazing ❤ keep it up stay awesome
Omg me too! She's easy to listen to. I love her wits!
I live in Maine and I remember so well when this happened. So sad. Thank you for bringing their stories to people's attention. After so many years people forget. Pray this cold case gets solved. Poor kids. I love your channel... And you 💜🌷 keep doing what you do.
CHRISTINA, I HAVE BEEN watching you for years. I feel I'm blessed to have the gift of knowing the difference between a true& honest being vs: those who are always trying to weave a little something something into the truth! People who change their perception they want to sell to the crowd they are in or whats popular at that time! Your so open and honest about your past.
I believe your conviction to your religious beliefs. And you do it all while still being your fun loving self. You obviously love your sons& your husband. I'm especially impressed by your loving relationship with your gramma! I recently lost my mom to heart failure. I'm the youngest of her children and she was in her 40s when I was born so I barely remember my gramma.I just love knowing I can click on your videos and be entertained, encouraged , and oftentimes educated above all I know honesty is assured! To me and I'll go out on a limb and state that to many many subscribers that is a beautiful rare wonderful thing. BTW I agree with you on who killed Ashley. Teens in love of both genders experience so many emotions and often all at once! They are often new,!strong, raw, and often conflicting. They come on suddenly and as strong as a rebuild laced with steroids.
Unsolved cases make me so upset. And Christina you tell stories so well, we love you. Never stop doing what you’re doing girl. -one of your many babies

Well said! I agree with your hypothesis of how this crime could have happened. A parent myself I dreaded every time my girls left the house in their teens; now both in their 20’s I still do, that feeling never goes away, unfortunately. I always told them that no matter what situation they may get themselves in I promised to keep my feelings (anger, disappointment etc) to myself in the moment and would discuss the next day when emotions. Are just a little less… less! It had come in handy a few times so they knew they could count on us when they needed us the most. I feel horrible for the families. They sound like wonderful parents. Teenage emotions are hard to manage sometimes. My heart goes out to them. Thanks for bringing light to this story again.
Just stopped by to say that I love you Christina. I know I don’t know you from a can of paint irl, but I’ve been a subscriber for years now, and your energy is top tier. I'm that kind of parent that would be like let me talk to your friends mom to make sure it's okay, to ask what time the girls would be going to bed & let me talk to her before you guys go to bed just to make sure everything's copesthetic. Call me crazy, over bearing, it's just cause I love you. ❤️
Yayy! I’m so proud of you for hittin the millions! I have been watching you for a long time…YOU were actually what got me into loving True Crime. You were the first video I’d ever watched on YT of true crime, it was only ever used for music before you 😊 so you go girl! You deserve it 🎉
I am a fan of yours from the very beginning. I don’t comment every video but I am always watching. However, today I just wanted to let you know that I am so proud of what you have accomplished. You have come so far from the beginning and you are different in a very good way. People change over time and you have decided to take that and just make things happen better and better. You would make a great journalist, anyway love y’all and take care of each other.
If you haven't covered it, please do a video on Brittanee Drexel. In April 2009, She was 17 and was wanting to go on Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was from Rochester, NY. Her mom told her no because of no adult supervision and she was worried about her daughters safety. Sadly, she snuck out and went anyway( and I'm definitely not blaming her b/c as teens we do stupid things) She went missing 3 days later, last seen on hotel video. She went missing on her less than a 1/2 mile walk back to her hotel . She was approx 1/2 way to her hotel when she went missing and her case went cold for 13 years. On May 11, 2022 her remains were finally found after her killer was caught and led them to her remains. She was found less than 3 miles from the hotel where where Raymond Moody was living in a hotel. In 2009 he was a person of interest after being pulled over the day after she went missing but they didn't have enough evidence to name him as an actual suspect. In 1983 he was convinced of SA, assault and sod*** on an 8 yr old child. He was sentenced to 40 year/ 4 month sentence. He was released in 2004 after serving only 21 years. He is a registered sex offender in the state of SC. He is still awaiting trial. It's a lack of proper police investigation on the part of Georgetown county and the Myrtle Beach police department. It's a sad but very important story to tell b/c more teens need to know the dangers of being alone and your parents not even knowing where you are 😢
Christina you're such a great story teller of these crime tales. Thanks so much for all you do! Please do not show hate to anybody anywhere is a motto I live by!

Anyway as far as this crazy true crime tale goes, I wish the family had closure and I am tending to be on your side because it just seems more logical. I think she did call someone! I hope it does get solved and I’ll continue to pray for the family…. Thanks again girl I can’t wait till the next story! hope you have a awesome weekend!
I can’t even finish this one. I have two teen girls and this hits too close to home 😭 I hope they receive justice for Ashley ❤️
So much feeling love coming from you for all your fans!
Hi Christina, I love the way you explain the facts. There is a recent crime in Ecuador. María Belén Bernal, a lawyer, went to the police school to look for her husband because she was told he was cheating on her. That was the last time she was seen. Apparently she was killed by her husband (a policeman in the police schoo) it's been crazy the way everything has happened, until they found her body next to the school. Her husband is been wanted.
I still remember this case. So sad!!!! I hate unsolved cases. I hope one day everyone can have closer. Love you Girl. Keep doing what you are doing!!!
I think you're spot on Christina! That's exactly what I think too! Such a tragedy!
Girl!!! Ur makeup is beautiful in this video. I always love your looks but today's is extra gorgeous! Love the hair too! Thnx for all the great videos 💜
I was just wondering when my Friday notification for a new Christina video would pop up today! Lol perfect timing as always 👌
I remember this case! So glad you're covering it. Prayers to the families.
Girl pink is your color. I am shocked nothing tragic happened to me when I was a teen. My mom decided she didnt want to be a mother anymore so she left my brother and I when we were about 14 (me) and 15 (bro). We lived in an area that has the nearest store a small jiffy mart a mile away and then nothing for 10 miles either way, so you really need to drive to get anywhere. There was a dive bar a half mile away and I tended to hang out there at the age of 14, since it was a couple locals, no one said anything, looking back, its disgusting. I hitch hiked, wandered the streets, skipped school, all the stuff a kid with a caring parent never would do, but I had no parents so I did what I wanted, and at that age, you want to do older stuff. Im thankful nothing ever happened to me or my less adventurous brother. My mother is now involved, but Im 43, I forgave her, shes only human, she regrets what she did.
Ridiculous what people are forgiving their parents for . She doesn’t deserve forgiveness . God . Not a wholesome ending fr
@@Abishhhhh shes my mother, of course she does. Its no happy ending, but she has some obvious signs of dementia and she needs help, I have to stay around to help her. I love her, she is my mom, she did the best she could at that time, she is human and makes mistakes, I forgive her because she realizes what she did. But I still have moments when I am angry for the fact she wasnt there and I wouldve saved myself so much wasted time and grief if I was just given guidance and was steered in the right direction straight away instead of having to find out on my own. My mother is a narcissist, still, and she does and says many things to purposely get under my skin or hurt me, but I know this is her tactic for getting a reaction because it feeds her need for negativity. She is my mother, of course she deserves a chance, as anyone I love.
I need more of your videos! They are so easy to watch and not cringy. Wish more channels would take note of this. ❤
Girl, I needed this distraction from today's responsibilities ✨

I grew up in Maine not Saco directly but the Portland/Westbrook area I never heard of this story before but I’m glad Christina cover it and shed some light on the story it’s so sad how no one said anything and the fact that angel/tony could’ve known something and got his life taken away well missing but I think he’s gone is so sad
It's so crazy when I hear these stories now as an adult.
I very quickly think icky, ickiness, when a story of a 15 year old with an 18 year is mentioned.
Then I have to remember being a freshman in highschool and hanging out with seniors all the time. Regularly partying way too hard doing all the things we should t ha e been doing. It's crazy
I can’t believe you’re covering this case so close to my home! I’ve been following you for ages and adore you. Just a heads up that her last name is pronounced like Woo-let, and Saco is like Sah-co! Keep up the excellent work!
Right , Saco rhymes with Taco
I was going to say this XD I had at least one Oullette in classes growing up in Maine.
Christina you are such an amazing soul! I believe everyone goes through the necessary things in life - good and bad - to teach them! No matter what the circumstance is - there is always a good and bad perspective! Even if it's just learning to help you grow and become a better human.. and you are just a perfect example of this ❤️ all my love to you and your beautiful family 😘
I have never heard of this story! Thanks for sharing! it’s so messed up that no one has answered for the crime they committed!
Y’all! CHRISTINA if you see this… this color, your makeup, hair etc. is SOOOO ON POINT!!! I would love to see you do shout outs to your biggest fans!!! I wish I could join your patreon man!!!! It’s killing me!
I love seeing your channel grow I've been here for a long time and you deserve all the growth. I love watching your videos and I just love your vibe.. I Hope you your husband and boys are all healthy and doing well... sending love from Philly..
Wow just heartbreaking...not having any type of closure in this case gives me such anxiety! I really like the delivery of your stories and you seem like such an awesome down to earth fun person... I pray for justice and that this family can somehow heal but its so tough...thank u for sharing! You look so pretty in every video and I love your entire look today! God bless 🙏✌💜
So sad. God rest Ashley’s precious soul and be with everyone who loves her. I pray that her family gets some closure. 🙏❤️😇🦋
Wow! Yes. This totally resonates with me as well. I was born in 80 and this case represents my peers. I was so much like her as an adolescent. When I hit Junior High I put my parents, teachers and authorities through the ringer! I am SO glad I am not dead or in prison. I don’t know why God allowed me to come out of that but he did. This baby girl was not bad. Whatever happened to her, she didn’t deserve it. She should have been allowed to grow up and grow out of her immature ways and use her old stories as warnings to the next generation. Thank you for covering these “older” cases. These souls should not be forgotten and their families need to know what happened. God bless.
