Jeffrey Batin On the app store, it has a rating of 4.4 (from 24 reviews). It doesn’t look atrocious, compared to everything else in this video.
Well remember what Vinny said during the Cup Hand Adventure portion of the stream? How [insert trashy android game here] is advertising on another game that nobody’s playing, this could be the case.
Also, 1:27:59 vertical block game with Korobeiniki playing in the background called ‘block puzzle’. Absolutely isn’t capitalizing on Tetris’s legendary popularity.
I think that section of the ad is generated automatically by the PlayStore based on the actual review the app has at the moment. Still funny.

We all lie to think of these neighbor games as "low effort cash grabs on an already popular and successful game," but I believe the story arch for the games is much more deeper than we thought.
It starts out with "Angry Neighbor", where your crazy neighbor just moved in, and you, the "Nice guy neighbor," insists on helping him move in, yet our neighbor keeps on assulting you, forcing you to "wake up" from every generation of neighbor.
This is the same "Hello Neighbor Gameplay," but we see more of the neighbor's hatred of others in "Fidget Neighbor," where we see the neighbor assulting and even killing neighborhood kids, with a fidget spinner, which then causes him to snap, and go on a murderous rampage all around town.
But in the end of the neighbor games and the stream, we get "neighbor heart surgery," where the neighbor, so filled with hate, has a heart attack, and the only one nearby, is the neighbor from the first Android game. Even though he's been having nightmares of getting assulted by the neighbor all the time, STILL helps him, and calls the ambulance, which then, Dr. Binyot performs open heart surgery to save his life. This causes the neighbor to have a new, "outlook" on life, in which he is loving, caring, and never assults other neighbors. Or at least, until the next neighbor moves in....

it actually is a pretty decent free puzzler that doesn't use microtransactions and has a reasonable amount of ads. I'd recommend it tbh.

You're sooo on point. This is a genuine concern I have on this generation of kids. They're gonna lose all their attention span and their concentration potential.
I don't want to sound too bitchy like “kids these days” but the situation isn't the same : back in the days there were those shitty tiger electronic games, but they weren't as accessible and prolific as the Android games.
The problem is : that’s too easy for the kid to switch to a new game and he's gonna be endlessly attracted by new games, continuously sucking his attention.
Wouldn't it be more likely they just get bored with downloading apps on Android and just move on? I can not imagine after the third game like this you just keep going, especially when my 8 year old nephew doesn't bother focusing on a single toy for more then 8 seconds at a time. Or a parent just, you know, doesn't let them download shitty apps?

I don't understand why all of these games are flooding the Play Store. There are good mobile games, but they get overshadowed by these. There's so many games on this stream that reuse assets to form gameplay, probably steal some art and modify it a little bit, then program a tiny bit of the game to make it possible to start. Then they pop ads on it and make some revenue for their low effort creation. It's horrible. You can tell most are doing it for ads, because they aren't respectable with showing them. I've seen creative games on the Play Store that presents ads as a choice, and doesn't ruin the whole experience by invading your attention. Those kinds of games need more attention than these.
At least I get funny streams, though. It's so easy to know what not to do when games like this make it so obvious.

me Actually, good point. It's something I missed. Thankfully, there is a rating system, so you can look for the best games available. Although, I still believe there's a bit of a problem with the amount of mediocre games trying to get a cash grab. I suppose the Play Store doesn't put a very high bar on what they accept on their platform.
Finding good games on the play store is the literal dictionary definition of finding a needle in a haystack its fucking impossible. It's 99% gatcha games and shovelware laden with ads and microtransactions and then there's genuine great games like wayward souls, 80 days, out there, fuck there's even a free retro styled official stranger things game that's pretty good.
If you want a recommendation of one of the good ones I'd recommend Oden Cart. Not much when it comes to gameplay but the artstyle is gorgeous and the characters and narrative are surprisingly engaging. Plus, it's free and doesnt cave your face in with ads. So that's a plus.

You know, during the killer clown game when Vinny talks about how kids grow up playing these games, getting used to getting 5 minutes of dopamine hits from every shitty short game they play, and that affecting their attention span for everything, I don't think he's exaggerating - I think that's only scratching the surface. If this dopamine overload craze is already affecting adults, I can't begin to imagine how it affects children. Usually when you hear someone go like "think of the children" you automatically disregard it like a Karen being a Karen, but really, think of the children - and the adults that they'll grow up to be.
