It's sad that Wyatt's development in New Colossus never happened, he never actually changed until the end, instead of a kid gradually becoming a man, it's a drug addict sucumbing but rising up in the last minute of the fight
@@capitatecab6049 it's a little more then that. It's him realizing that he can't run away, as his ending speech said, there is no comforting lie that will drown out the coldness of reality.
There's also the subplot about him seeing into the multiverse and the supernatural side of wolfensteain. Seeing the true purpose of the device the scientist is struggling with the whole game and talking about how something out in the void beyond perception is now aware of earth.
@@fg09403 tbh that subplot was most likely the Doom tie-in, I havent seen it myself but I've heard they hint that the nazi government becomes the UAC from doom.
Then again the new order DLC had you fighting a giant mummy and zombies so idk what's happening anymore

Yeah the only problem I have with the timeline is that Set doesn't actually figure out what the Artifact from Speshie's site in Roswell asctually is, while in Wyatts timeline he figures that it's not a key, but a "doorknob"
The Fergus and Wyatt timelines are drastically different
Also an interesting inverse of the first game: Fergus route in TNO was pretty grim while Wyatt's was much more lighter.

My first 2 playthroughs I went for Wyatt since he was the younger kid and still had his life ahead of him, but once I went with fergus I just couldn't go back lol

Fergus is a great character. But while Wyatt may seem annoying or useless, I would argue that he is anything but. He was put in the position of leader, a position that he didn't want and he started using drugs to cope but at the end of the story, he's grown in that position and gives a great speech to the American people, one that is definitely MUCH stronger than the one given by Grace and Horton. He isn't much of a soldier but he has a great mind, he simply needed to make peace with it.
But by no means does that mean that I dislike Fergus however, he is awesome, he's a soldier above all else and takes no shit from no one and tells Grace what we think of her. (gives her the finger right in the face) don't ever change ya bloody badass scots.
Eh, I'm not that big of a fan of Wyatt since they kind of sidestepped the "boy becomes a man" story the new order had for him just to make him the drugged out whack job that can "see into the multiverse" or some shit lol

I can never stop thinking about Gideon from Advanced Warfare...Time traveling in That timeline confirmed...Just kidding but i can't just stop thinking about that other character Mr. Emery played.
In New Order, Fergus asks BJ "What's gonna happen when you and I are too old to strap on the guns anymore?" and in New Colossus they both fall as low as they've ever been, losing Caroline, Fergus losing an arm and BJ getting his fucking head cut off. But what's inspiring is that they both keep going, no matter how tired, no matter how broken and drained they are. Fergus has been fighting this war for over 20 years, while BJ was in a coma he scraped up the Kreisau Circle from nothing, he may have his doubts and his worries and his regrets but Fergus Reid will never stop fighting the Nazi's. And he'll never stop being a sarcastic arsehole while doing it, and that's what makes him wonderful.

Fergus is definatly better then Wyatt. Hes more interesting and closer to BJ in age and personality (with clearly a strong history as a fellow soldier friend). I did not regret choosing him to not be experimented on in The New Order. I would not regret choosing him in The New Colossus as new Resistance leader either.
Wyatt timeline: Very dramatic and 'realistic' way of dealing with the nazis overtaking the world and how people would deal with the new world order.
Fergus timeline: who wants to see a man with a robot arm get posessed

They're so many walkthroughs that involves Fergus's timeline, guess they all prefer the laserkraftwerk over the dieselkraftwerk in which case I do admit is more fun and practical to use

They're both fun when it comes to gibbing bunch of enemies.
The diesel is more practical when it comes to deal with supersoldiers. Three or four projectiles and boom. Dead. And if you have the extented mag, you can mow down an entire hord.
The laserkraftwerk can take down a robot giant with one fully charged shot. It is the best weapon. However, you need the dieselkraftwerk to beat Shoshone's time in the killhouse.
Spirz laserkraftwerk can take down the giant fucking robots with one fully charged blast to the head spot And vaporize enemies with a single normal shot. 2 for a mechanized soldier.
