- This Nissan z gets a new sound with maperformance catted downpipes! We went into as much detail as possible for all of you! We compared the new downpipes to the stock exhaust with high quality sound clips. This is paired with the stock exhaust system so it is still pretty tame. Just got the AMS non-catted downpipes for my new Z. I’ll be checking this clip when we install them along with the Z1 Single Outlet Race exhaust 👍🏼

@@23rz34 yeah I had to buy the catback because when I got downpipes put on there was a mismatch in stock straightpiped exhaust and AMS Race Downpipes tube size.

@@Aceman110 can you get an exhaust clip? I’m ordering the Z1 Single tomorrow. I’m also waiting for HKS to come out with their SSQV BOV which they said might not be till October or so. As far as rims, I’m going with 10.5” +10 in the rear and 9.5” +12 up front
Please develop a Hemholtz midpipe for it. That will allow more nice tones while eliminating low frequency drone that resonate around the cabin.
Are these the standard cats or the GESI cat option?

Yes it did throw a CEL about a day after the install

What needs replacing is tiny stock midpipes. That's what's limiting power, by design. So there is more left on table for next year NISMO Z

Sounds terrible. Sounds like a 90 hp outboard on a boat.
I really don't like the look at all the interior has a similar look to the Subaru BRZ and is not as sporty as the 370z and now with new technology you can add a Tesla screen to any car now not worth the high price.
Car is by far more revamped than the 370z and the looks are far better as well given I’ve seen them and driven them in person as well pics and videos don’t do it much justice and I used to own a 370z .. the new engine gives it an extra edge along the new 6MT or the new 9 speed as well car is by far more nimbler and responsive: no amount of aftermarket Tesla screens will
