Some tips for those who haven't beaten 10 star Akuma: 1. At the start, Akuma will always throw out his 3 fireballs if you don't move. Once you see (or hear) him start to throw out the 3 fireballs, immediately close in as much as you can and start sidewalking. 2. If you're relatively close, avoid all 3 fireballs and go for a WGF. Deep dash if you need to. 3. If you're about mid screen distance, go for a cd3 after avoiding all 3 fireballs. 4. If you're almost full screen distance away, go for a 1+2 laser after avoiding the fireballs. Sometimes Akuma would teleport forward and get caught in the laser. 5. When you launch Akuma, keep your combos simple and screw fast. If you're close to a wall, use f+1+2 rage drive for post-screw. If not, stick to cd1+4 for post-screw. (Also, Kaz doesn't have df1,4, so remember to use b2,1 instead) 6. Akuma's cd3 mixup can end with either jumping double fireball or EX helicopter kicks. Always launch his EX heli kicks. 7. TMM gave a tip to db4 Akuma as oki, because his AI would always go for d4 upon wakeup. I find this to be rather inconsistent (as can be seen in this video), so use this carefully. 8. When Akuma is close, he might go for a full focus attack. Always react to this attack, never predict it. If you predict and duck too early, he'll cancel it and you'd have missed a golden chance to launch him. 9. His EX (and normal) dragon punch is launch punishable. 10. His df1,2 is launch punishable with Kaz's ws twin pistons. He also has a df1,1 mid-high mixup. If you can't react to this mixup, then no need to duck, just block. 11. A bit of an obvious one, but never attack first, only react and punish. Akuma would just parry everything or pull some cheap shit out of his ass. 12. As a general rule, either keep close to Akuma to bait out his focus attack, or keep about mid-screen distance away to force his 3 fireballs (then refer to points 2 to 4). Keeping any distance in between would subject you to his mixups or super fireball. Good luck! Sorry if I butcher any of Akuma's inputs. Not an Akuma player lol
I cheated and used the assist button it gives you an ewgf option and you can punish his df/4 easy and for some reason his df/3 i think it’s because the AI reacts and gets hit instead that’s how I done it
And use all the devil powers/ rage drives you can, whenever you can. There's a reason they give you devil form for this fight, it's the first time you have access to it and the moves are right there in the command list under pause menu. Became a whole lot easier for me once I saw this as a tutorial for rage drives and devil form
Right, but Jinpachi can eventually be figured out. Azazel was also a pain, but I dunno, is Azazel worse than Shin Akuma? After many tries, I got Azazel. I still haven't beaten Shin Akuma, but that could also be because I'm trash. XD

If Akuma gets too close to you, remember that you can teleport back with b+3+4 to get out of clean hitting range of his d+3. Another handy thing would be his forward teleport that passes through Akuma's messatsu gouhadoken (full meter hadoken) allowing punish with 1,1,2

Yeah this fight is pain in the ass.. Has health regen/insane amount of health/high damage output/absurd speed/a one hit kill move that he akuma does randomly and most of all that goddamn unskipable intro every damn time.
That's how online akumas fight online. D4, jump back fireballs, repeat. Win through chip damage and stalling for time. Just like fighting a Sonic in SSBU.

This fight is so easy tbh. Sidestep his shakunetsu and punish with ragedrive or cd+3 if you're too far. And when he comes close, duck, 99% of the time, he does a low. Then punish with WS4,4 if he uses FC3 and WS2 if he uses FC4
Shin Akuma is dark souls hard even on the easiest difficulty because he spams his Hadouken, Shakunestsu Hadouken, the Shoryuken his spin kick, and his wave dashing. and to make it even more frustrating you need to attack him with Devil Kazuya's Rage art right before you're hit by Akuma's wrath of the raging demon finisher to even win.
😂 I'm laughing because that Rage art doesn't even tell you what button to press. I learnt this because first i press RB(R1) as you fighting was by mistake 😭😭😂

I felt badass when I defeated him in like 3 hours and got the special title from that chapter... Then my brother gets 2000 total victories and obtains the title without any effort 😒

I actually play this fight if im on Tekken but can't find anyone in ranked. Just something to keep my mind going in terms of reaction time to lows and things of that nature. Anyways, I ALWAYS block low in this fight. I know that seems really dumb, but it works out perfectly against him. He does a bunch of d4's and a lot of his strings start out with that fast low jab that he does. On top of that, that power crush charge that he does is also duckable, and when he jumps in the air, yes he has a chance of doing that homing mid kick, but thats very easy to see and react to, and if he doesn't do that then he always goes low, which again is launch punishable. So blocking low against him is key. You'll get extreme results.
Guys I feel sick. I beat this on the hardest difficulty without knowing I had unlimited rage. . .
