This is something they should do in every new Tekken game from now on if they really give a shit about their players anytime somebody doesn't throw or multi throw the person that's being countered to stop the multi throw should be able to counter the counter so the multi throw could keep going on it should be like a fight to see who's the most Adept at countering it would be have to worked out but it would be a great addition to the series because the person who's being multi throwed has the advantage they can counter easily to stop the whole link I feel it's broken it should be the way that I described

I think Heihachi's f+4 on crouch has the same property in 7, he just lacks anything he can launch with (lacking his Tekken 5 d/f+1,2).

Kaz in ttt1 had f4 into wgf as his was a special mid, heihachi and jin are the only chars to have an ewgf in that game

IIRC:
SSS+: Steve (most broken character in "modern" Tekken history)
SSS: Nina, Bryan, Feng (also very broken, just slightly less so than Steve)
S: Raven, Devil Jin, Heihachi, Law (had broken things but were "fair" compared to SNBF)
Kazuya weighed in at A+ tier along with a couple others I don't remember off hand. As TMM said in his video, Kazuya was about the No. 9 or 10 ranked character in 5.0.
Jin was definitely low tier.
And Z tier goes to jinpachi if you hacked the game. Even in the "legal" version in dr he was still ridiculously strong with a semi infinite, unseeable low launchers and his f4 on crouch would give a near death combo easy to execute

2:10 Kazuya is -3 on block after ff+3 is blocked in T7, but forces crouch, luckily it still pushes the opponent back a bit on block so you can go back to neutral game.

Honestly, I think Kazuya could benefit from some of this now. He could do with a little bit of aggression, even if ever so slightly. I think a blocked clean hit safe d/f+2 wouldn't be a bad addition since you have to be very close to do it. You wouldn't have a pressure monster with that addition (make it like -8 so he can't really do anything specific afterwards but isn't in danger either) but it would make him more fearsome if you have a defensive opponent you can't bait into whiffing. That way if you can back them against the wall, you either get a CH d/f+2 off a panicked opponent or it won't expose you if you're at the right range.
Tekken 5 is prime kazuya , he is better in 5 than 4 or 6 for sure

It also has to do with the damage criterion of the game, in that even a weak punch added to the combo will hurt more... unlike the following games where there's less liberty of inventiveness... sometimes if you add 1 to a staple combo in T6 or t7 it will paradoxically deliver less damage... even if it's technically something harder to perform. One "tiny" detail along with the new "user-friendly" mechanics that made me quit playing for a while.

Tekken 5 is the only Tekken I play and Kazuya is my favourite character to use in the game so I'm so glad to see mainmanswe to teach me how improve him now in Tekken 5.

Whenever i pick up T5 again with my adult eyes and judgement i am amazed of how much crazy stuff there was in the game...
db4 +7 on hit, -9 on block, ewgf with fast recovery, df2 close safe, f4 launcher on crouched opponent. so this one is the strongest kazuya

Was there much of difference between T5 and T5DR in terms of frames and broken characters? Cos I remember Steve always being broken.
T5DR was the balanced version, while T5 was literally filled with broken characters.
Tekken 1-5 including tag 1 Kazuya was the best, in 7 they nerfed him which made him a b-list character and his devil transformation is a stupid rage mechanic which Tekken Tag 2 had him as a secret ability.

It feels like it has more personality than seven does I still want to play it from time to time.
I think they should add a speck of realism and make spinning kicks and punches have mor frames and be more easily punishable. Also, high kicks should also have more frames than punches and low kicks, and hitting a character while he's executing an high or medium kick would result in launching him.

the AI in T5 was soo much harder compared to T7 on ultra hard..the only challenging in T7 AI was the special boss like shin akuma,devil kazuya etc. in high tier like in byakko tier and up?

Sry tekken noob here. What do the - + (number) mean?
if a move is plus on block the person gets advantage.
Lets say a move is plus 7 on block, so the person who did the plus move can do a 17 frame move afterwards and trade with a 10 frame move from the enemy who blocked the plus move.
If its minus it works in the different direction.
You do a move thats minus 15 and it gets blocked, the enemy can punish you with a guaranteed punish that has 15 or less frames.
