Negan is one of the most balanced characters in the game but he could get some changes. UF4 should Low crush, F1+2 should be -16 instead of -15 and CH B2,2 instead of 85 dmg should deal 80

I have a friend that picks up strong characters in the fighting games we play, and he always downplays the characters strength. I like technical characters so we always end up debating.
I think he doesn't consider actual applications of these moves, but just looks at them in theory/paper. Yes, Akuma's 50/50 can be backdashed in SOME situations, but how often does it actually? Yeah you can neutralize a lot of mixups by doing a specific sidestep into fuzzy guard, sidestep fuzzy guard low parry into generic parry etc, but how often do you actually manage to do that while keeping in all the other factors happening in the match?
Solid intro; "This guy dumb me smart" but "meter spent meter gone" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Is the idea that meter is a finite resource underpowered? Do we have to give Akuma infinite meter? Yet another downplayer who can't be satisfied unless they're playing Shin Akuma while leeching views from TMM.
good luck trying to execute 13 frame eletric, this is almost impossible, you have to play with what you can do, and not what "theoretically" you can do. I'm a normal Jin player, it's very hard to do an eletric in this game. I play Geese too, they're both awesome, but requires some execution.

The demon trap is +16 on hit so its a guaranteed no bar launcher on hit steppable but can crush high moves at midair so far i can say paul has the best tools so far against akuma and if the akuma does 1+2 you can highcrush with bulldozer (FF,2,2) and launch D1 pulls them down from jumping and the powercrush B,1+2 hits akuma midair too.

Downplaying d2 was honestly one of the craziest things I've seen lol. That move is definitely one of the best moves in the entire game and it was presented as if it was the worst thing in the world lmao. Pathetic to be honest.

Just wanna point out a few things in this video is that 1) When TMM learned about the akuma demon flip trap at the wall, he acknowledges it and appreciates the guy from learning something new and he accepted his mistake. 2) He even tells his twitch chat to avoid shit commenting about being transgen which is very controversial. So here we can see him still respecting other people even when they do trash talk him or maybe even insult his opinions.

Negan is one of the most balanced characters in the game but he could get some changes. UF4 should Low crush, F1+2 should be -16 instead of -15 and CH B2,2 instead of 85 dmg should deal 80

I think he doesn't consider actual applications of these moves, but just looks at them in theory/paper. Yes, Akuma's 50/50 can be backdashed in SOME situations, but how often does it actually? Yeah you can neutralize a lot of mixups by doing a specific sidestep into fuzzy guard, sidestep fuzzy guard low parry into generic parry etc, but how often do you actually manage to do that while keeping in all the other factors happening in the match?
I love to re-watch this comedic video every now & then for shits & giggle.

good luck trying to execute 13 frame eletric, this is almost impossible, you have to play with what you can do, and not what "theoretically" you can do.
I'm a normal Jin player, it's very hard to do an eletric in this game. I play Geese too, they're both awesome, but requires some execution.

I think Akumas 50/50 gets scarier if u sort of "extend" the clean hit range of d+3 by using fadc dash cancels to close out the range
also it gives armor for the period of time you fadc dash. its kinda hard to do more dashes in a row but it can be very powerful sometimes

I would also like to point out that to escape the d3 mixup he says to just backdash, however to escape the focus mixup he says just forward dash. Kind of hard to do both at once
The back dash and forward dash cancels each other out so you just stay in place, eat the mixup, and die anyways 🤣

The demon trap is +16 on hit so its a guaranteed no bar launcher on hit steppable but can crush high moves at midair so far i can say paul has the best tools so far against akuma and if the akuma does 1+2 you can highcrush with bulldozer (FF,2,2) and launch D1 pulls them down from jumping and the powercrush B,1+2 hits akuma midair too.
