Does not work for me. I got the ownership, but again Access denied to the 2 files that are inside the folder I want to delete! I believe Avira locked them somehow...not sure
If you still have the access is denied thing, you can always copy over whatever files you want to keep to a different drive then format the drive with the files that you want to get rid of since formatting gets rid of everything on a drive.
Because there is some file is hided to you, you need to see the path in cmd that cause access denied, and you copies it, then go to that folder in File Explorer and right click => properties => sercurity => Edit => Remove all things in Group or users names, leaves then add new one with object names is "users" , press OK then set users with full control then you can delete all sub folder inside to the folder itself. make sure that you tick Replace all child object perm...
