Combining 2D Animation with Model Making | Making Of

With our long history and big love of sculpting, models and old Popeye cartoons, we really wanted to combine physical elements with traditional animation for our Christmas short commissioned by DAF Trucks NV. So we spent a few days of filming and doing stop motion in front of a green screen. Here’s a little behind the scenes peek to show you how we made some of the models and the 2D animation, and then married them digitally to create the final look of the film 👀
