@@briannab1598 Im assuming the train is like the in between life and death. Berlin had to get the sister awake and her and her brother reunited in order for them to move on to the afterlife. Thats why at the end when the brother and sister reunites, the sister says to berlin “your not ready” meaning hes not ready to move on, hence the character waking up and staying alive. You hear one of the characters saying they found a young girl and boy in an accident. Thats the siblings. They had passed away. And them walking on the railroad tracks is them moving on to “heaven”. Thats what I took from it (edit): I’m watching dashies playthrough now and caught onto something that I should’ve caught onto from berlins playthrough. When you reach the car after car 0 and the train horn goes off there’s an announcement saying “the train has stopped due to an injury” that’s the train hitting the siblings. Which is what ties the siblings to the train

I don’t think he realizes that the boy and the girl were actually dead irl. That’s why the guy was like “there’s a car accident involving a boy and young girl.” The reason that they said “It’s not your time yet” is because they were trapped in the line between life or death, getting of the train meant they were going to the afterlife. Everyone on the train were spirits. I’m also assuming the boy and girl specifically weren’t able to move onto the afterlife. You were on the verge of life and death, similar to the show Alice in Borderland. If you had gotten off with them you would’ve passed on. Idk if there’s an option for it but that’s what it symbolizes ig. But ofc Berlin missed a small detail that would’ve helped him realize the story 😂

The brother and the sister seemed like they were hit BY the train the MC is on. When mc wakes up, the attendant says "we're stopped most likely bc of a personal injury" (something mc hears in his dream too), but she doesn't seem to be talking about mc, as the doctor explains mc collapsed from stress (poor ppl syndrome, is the joke lol).
Then the conductor rushes in, walkie talkie-ing w someone, confirming that "THE accident" involved a boy and a girl. He says THE accident, not A CAR accident, so I'm assuming he's saying that THE accident is the one that stopped the train for "personal injury".
My understanding is that the kids got hit by the train, seemingly from walking on the tracks (as we see them doing in the afterlife), and mc either collapsed at the same time or hurt himself during the collision, which caused him to meet the kids in this purgatory space. Mc helps them move on, they say it's not his time yet, and he wakes up while they go to the afterlife. That's my theory anyway.
TLDR: kids got hit by the train MC is on, MC gets injured at the same time and meets them in weird purgatory, MC helps their spirits move on

Lol the character didn't get tired at the end of running down the train. He was sinking into the floor like the seats. And Berlin not reading the one sentence he needed to read to get the meaning of the ending is so Berlin lol.

@@EvanKennedy-uu7li basically the brother n sister had died n a car accident by the train or due to it so they were stuck on it until they figured out how it happened, a lot of people on the train had passed already so they were on a continuous loop , the character he played as was almost dead or on the verge of dying, thats why he was in the same state as the brother n sister. also like the old man said most the people on the train weren’t human, bc they were spirits. assuming they all died on or near the train .
