That must have been hard for Dave Grohl to carry the weight that Neil Peart bore and honoring the surviving members of Rush playing this song of another band who lost their drummer. And Grohl just lost his mother on top of that.......My heart and hat is off to him......Respect!

I've seen this before and I still get teary-eyed. RIP Neil Peart and God Bless Alex and Geddy. I believe I was 10 years old when my brother came in with 2112 then going to their concert in 1976 Live at Comiskey Park Chicago, Illinois. My brother brought some cigarettes that had me enjoying the concert. I remember asking my brother for some Chicago Dogs and soda before we left because for some reason I was really hungry. He did with the understanding that I not say anything about the smoking cigarettes.

2 missing drummers, both special in their own way. RIP Neil, you are still missed. RIP Taylor, I am still unable to process it. All being said, Dave had a workout playing Neil's part on Working man. Still a great drummer.

Dear god, how many people were at this show? That's got to be 50-60k easily yes?
I can only imagine how Taylor would feel if you were still around, what an amazing feeling it must've been snow you've touched the lives of so many people so deeply and powerfully.
Rest in peace music brother. I hope the other side is good as they tell us . . .

Not trying to start a fight, just curious. Did anyone take issue with the guys being introduced as Rush? I mean, it’s THEIR band obviously, but without Neil it’s not the same. To quote Geddy, “I don’t want to play in Rush without those two other guys. There’s no replacing anyone in this band, it’s just not possible. It IS the band, the three of us…”
Not a huge deal, it just kinda struck me as I watched it. Great to see them again, anyway and great to see them enjoying themselves so much. Must have been emotional to be back in the same venue they played their last show together. Miss them so much. Saw every tour from Grace Under Pressure forward, 50 shows in all. There will never be another band like them. Ever.
