That is called Jhalmuri. Muri is puffed rice. Jhal means spicy. There are several versions of it. You may get these in NewYork city near jamaica.

In Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, we used to have almost every single evening. It cost like 5 bucks which is really good and worth it.

    3:18 - jhalmuri / ঝালমুড়ি
‘jhal’ means spicy and ‘muri’ means puffed rice’. So basically, that’s ‘spicy puffed rice. A popular street snack you’ll find here and every vendor has their own version. The jhalmuri vendor close to the school I used to attend back in the 90s/early 2000s used to put chanachur, peanuts (with the skin left on) curry, boiled chickpeas, mustard oil, lime juice and lime zest into his version of the jhalmuri, giving it a more savoury and tangy twist. I grew up enjoying cones of jhalmuri almost everyday after school before going back home.

I see that is very helpful thank you! Cool so it’s a well known “go-to” snack. That’s really cool to know how it is part of your past, thank you!

By pollution im talking about the air quality and trash throughout. I looked up the air index at it was beyond 300 AQI and it was called “extremely dangerous”. What are you referring to when you said it’s not pollution? I just want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing.

dude what you on about, clearly it's air pollution and smog. Do you not know how to read the air pollution index, Dhaka is ranked #1 on most days. Air pollution is not only caused by industries, open your eyes and look at all the vehicles running in Dhaka 24/7/365 days a year. Ignorant clowns like you are the reason pollution is bad there. I am glad he pointed out the air quality issues, you literally can't roam around Dhaka without a mask , or you get throat infection.
