Damn that’s a hard choice really. Like you I’m a die hard camaro enthusiast! I always love and breathe the camaro cars. The 69 Z28 is my all time favorite then the 70 model split bumper is my second, then the 3rd gen 80s model. Don’t like the 90s model all that well. Then the 5th and 6th gen just makes loves to my soul. To literally switch gears I like the Tesla also, my friend also owns a Model Y and it’s mind blowing like i was just like you during your reaction. Like the Tesla is the wave of the future and first hand experience seeing what those cars can do is out of this world especially the driving it self feature. If I was to ever own a Tesla it has the be the very sporty one the P100 Model S. To be real I like them both. Each car has its own personality, some days I wanna be Rachet and mash on the throttle and then it some days I wanna be chill and relaxed to my destination. Overall I will go my love and passion of the camaro. Again I say it all the time, great channel and love the content heart beat of America! Much love and respect

do the brake lights come on when you take your foot off the accelerator? so how far can you go in the winter with the heat and lights on? how long do you have to wait to recharge your car every how many miles. i buy gas and can go 450 miles in the winter with the heat on and it only takes 5 min to go another 450 miles.
Yes - there is an accelerometer in the Tesla that will activate the brake lights if you hit .3g decelration, which is a medium deceleration. In other words - if you're slowing down at a rate the people behind you should know about, the lights come on.
Definitely would choose the Camaro. Its about the looks, sound, how it feels on the road and enjoying the driving experience and so much more. Last year had my first tesla experience riding in a model 3.
One of the best yrs of Camaro ever made. Tough to find without paying 50-100,000 for it, unless you know the owner. One sharp car, Dude!!!!

Camaro for the win! I, like you, grew up a Camaro fan. My dad has owned 3 Corvettes, but the first car he owned when I was a kid was a green 69 SS convertible. I’ve personally owned a 2000 SS, and I’ve regretted getting rid of it. That was 8 years ago. Someday I’ll get another one.

I’ll take the GT500 please! Not a fan of Tesla, it’s an expensive golf cart. I want to work when I’m driving and this car does nothing, no sound, no tire squeal, no dice.
I have always enjoyed seeing the launch of the Teslas, but i would take the raw driving experience of a muscle car anytime. You can't beat the sound of a v8!

My mom choses the Camaro over the Corvette as well. She has a 2010 Camaro RS with a 3.6L LFX V6 with 304 HP and 278 Ibs of Torque and its a blast and we're planning on swapping in a 480 HP Hot cammed LS3 in it when her V6 goes out.

Love the Tesla but would choose the camaro any day of the week. Love feeling the muscle in a muscle car, hear it rumble and hear the tires spin. Doing a burnout in a car at the track gives you a thrill along with making a pass.

Owned a 68 RS loved that car, because of the driving experience and I restored it at a young age. Technology is covenant, but simplicity is timeless.
Electric motors are FAR simpler than ICE - so if you want simplicity, go EV.

I have a Tesla 3 performance and a 2019 ZL1 a10. Love both cars!! The Tesla is very quick under 80 especially from a dig or low roll and handles well too. The Zl1 is a lot faster of course once you're rolling.
The Tesla performance is just so accessible. My wife that literally knows nothing about driving performance cars ran a 11.49 @ 115.8 and 1/8 was 7.3 @97.0 at the dragstrip lol.

Never understood the hype over Tesla's until my brother got his, now I understand that they are great everyday cars. They won't give you the same experience as a performance sport car will, but as a daily work to home, bring your kids to school kinda car they are great. Best part I think is having the car charge every night so you never have to stop for gas.
Domt get me.wrong. I still will take a gas car over electric, but now I'm better informed and believe it has its place in the world.

Personally I would own the Camaro because it's a car that doesn't have all the crazy tech on it. Instead it's an American muscle car that you can work on by yourself and actually drive it unlike the Tesla.

I would want to drive both, the beauty of the old f body platform used in the Camaro and Firebird (specifically the first and second generations, third generation is nice enough with the firebird sporting pop up headlights, but 4 generation is disgusting) and the advancements of the tesla electric engine packed in. dont need all the auto drive stuff though.

Why would you sell the 69 Camaro
To everyone in the comments saying you'd take a 69 camaro over a tesla - try actually driving a tesla for a week before you make that decision. Who knows, you may still choose the camaro, but I know that there will be some who change their minds. It's not just the mind bending acceleration - it's the instantaneous throttle response (unlike any car - more like a racing bike), and the fact that you're *always* in the power band. It's not really something you can describe, you have to experience it.
Hey i know your comment is over a year old but its so on point alot of made only hate certain things like Tesla’s because other people tell them to hate it or something like that.
I have a model 3 it's wild and the technology's insane but I would want both. I would drive the Tesla everyday except the weekend. On the weekends I would pull out the Camaro

Its more possible.. nick I got a 78c10 Chevy truck. Its got a edlebrock carb .. never had the choke hook up.. and it always starts the first time even in the winter. For a daily you can't beat the reliability
If I could buy only one of them, I would go for the Tesla because of family and bc. we're living in a city and only drive short distances. The Camaro wouldn't even come up to operating temperatures. But I would like to have the Camaro as second car, for weekend trips and leisure.
