- In 2021, a human stampede shut down America’s busiest airport just four days before Thanksgiving. New video of the incident has just been released. Footage shows the moment a bag was flagged by TSA agents, after the scanning machine revealed something suspicious inside. As an agent began to search the bag, the owner grabbed at his belongings and pulled out a gun. It went off as he attempted to get away, and that caused panicked travelers to run.
This was just two years ago. I’ve never seen a evacuation so intense in an airport
The government should have more commen sense about these issues in airports. Haven’t we learned anything since 9/11?

Why do airports change protocol whenever an incident happens such as this or 9/11, but we get back to business as usual after a mass shooting at any other public area? We have a serious issue that’s going ignored when it should be the top priority for every American.
Because business is business and people have to travel you can’t hold the whole country on gun point because of 1 person or a group of individuals because someone is being stupid

I was in Atlanta that year. I was visiting my uncle and before I left I was originally supposed to come that Saturday, when it happened, but I came Friday because that was the time my uncle got the flight(southwest) and I told him it was better to come on a weekday because I know Saturday will be super crowded.
When I heard it on the news the next day, I thought, good thing I came Friday.

It’s messed up because it happened in a public place and he obviously grabbed it out of anxiety and fear. But he was manly enough to come forward with his crime a week later instead of continually hide or run away
Cause he was already getting his bag checked, which means they scanned his ID already and knew who he was. If he waited it would’ve been worse. Either way he was caught

Anytime I've ever had my bag searched at an airport there is NO WAY that the TSA officer would even let me touch the table they were using to search, let alone dig into the bag. Clearly a poorly trained TSA officer

Well you would think what they're brilliant training that they would know that a bullet when is discharged it's an explosion when the hammer hits the primer it causes a spark which ignites the gunpowder was causes an explosion within the barrel thus exacting to projectile out of the barrel!
