Nice video. I have the same engine on my McLane reel mower and today stop working after 15 minutes of running. I check the air filter is good gas tank is half way full but the oil was like gray color. So I deside to change the oil and machine runs again for like 20 min and stop. I wait 1hr runs and some thing happens. I really dont know what wrong.😏
I have an older version of what appears to be the same model and it's missing the gas cap and part of the fuel line, where would i go about finding those parts?
i have an older briggs 3hp...the pull start doesn't have that starter cup...has a star shaped bearing rachet....how do i get that off to get the flywheel off?
I have an edger, but I haven't used it in a couple of years, it was my dad's edger. I used it a couple of times and today it wouldn't start and it has a wire sticking out of the front (white with a white plastic open cap). I don't remember that being there. Is that the kill switch?? Thank you.

i bought a an edge trimmer with this engine. with the purpose of making a mini bike. but this stupid shaft happens to be 1 1/2 inch short! IMPOSSIBLE to install a centrifugal clutch!

Did you get it working? Crappy gas now a days, use at least 89.
Clean the carb and the gas tank. If that doesn’t work replace the spark plug. If that doesn’t work replace your ignition coil
