    would the 170cc work with 1.72 rockers and trickflow stage 1 would clear piston?

    • @latemodelrestoration
      @latemodelrestoration  Před 2 měsíci

      You didn't provide much information about said "piston". Are they stock, aftermarket, different dish, valve reliefs? What is the displacement?
      For what it's worth, I've never confirmed a 1.72 roller rocker with a Trickflow stage 1 cam on either a stock or aftermarket piston. Based on other scenarios I've seen, a 1.72 roller rocker with a Trickflow stage 1 cam is going to be cutting it too close with a stock piston. Personally, I'd go with 1.6 rockers. Trickflow spec'd their stage 1 cam to work with stock pistons when running 1.6 rockers.
      At the end of the day, there are too many variables to say yes or no. Checking PTV is still required no matter what. Hope this helps. -Landan
