Love this season of the year on Cape Cod. Our yard is filled with robins, cardinals, orioles, chickadees, and a sparrow or two. We also see an increase in rabbits and an occasional bunny here and there. Love your Floss Tube channel. Thank you!

Hey Melanie! Congratulations on hitting 2000 subscribers! Sparrow or bunny please. That bookmark is PRECIOUS! I thrilled to see how excited you are about gardening. Blanket flower is very hardy. You can take the spent blooms and just shove them back in the dirt so that you have more plants the next year. They are full of seed heads. The daisies grow easily from seed but may not bloom this year. They will put up tons of leaves. But they’ll make it over the Winter and then Summer 2022 you’ll have tons of blooms!

Hi Melanie! You always make me smile - you're so sweet and genuine! I do love your videos and all your stitching. "Sparrow" - I have yet to get it. I am still wanting to though. Love your yarn purchases. Glad you're knitting. I wish I had some tried and true tips for your arms getting fatigued and sore. Mine do that as well but it is usually if I knit with worsted or bulky weight yarns. Sock weight usually doesn't bother my arms too badly. During Christmas I was knitting several worsted scarfs and I was really hurting. (I was diagnosed the year before with tennis elbow from the repetition). Of course it doesn't help that my day job I stay on the computer. lol Excited to see how your gardening comes along! Hope you have a great two weeks and looking forward to your progress!

I think you can finish those 4 projects you are so close. I have shoulder problems and had rotator cuff repair. i have to sit with my arms supported by pillows under each arm when i am having a flare up, i can only stitch for several hours and then i need to take a break. They do injections for tendonitis. I hope you feel better sweet friend!

Love all the projects! As an avid knitter who has been fighting tennis elbow due to knitting be very careful. Listen to your arms. Stretches are great if you Google stretches for tennis elbow. Ice is good, too. I have had to quit knitting until I can have surgery. Shots can help, too. If you haven't gotten that bad yet though, I would suggest rest, stretches, braces for tennis elbow and ice. I know it sounds crazy, but I wish someone had warned me. Happy stitching!

Congrats on 2K!! I would have thought maybe your tension was too tight when you are knitting, but it doesn't look like it. So strange. I don't get forearm pain, but when I was a new knitter, my hands would get crampy from holding my needles in a death grip.

I have to tell you, one the neat things I did durning the pandemic, was to buy a bird feeder so I can watch the birds, and yes we get lots and lots of sparrows come to visit. Hi Melanie, I am doing In my Father’s House too. I know I’m going to love your colors more, but think there is a kind of beauty in the duller greens too. I wanted to make my house pink too, but stuck with the called for colors. I’m a knitter too. Maybe you should learn the continental way of knitting. It is supposed to use less movement and be more economical with your hands.

Hi Melanie! You always make me smile - you're so sweet and genuine! I do love your videos and all your stitching. "Sparrow" - I have yet to get it. I am still wanting to though. Love your yarn purchases. Glad you're knitting. I wish I had some tried and true tips for your arms getting fatigued and sore. Mine do that as well but it is usually if I knit with worsted or bulky weight yarns. Sock weight usually doesn't bother my arms too badly. During Christmas I was knitting several worsted scarfs and I was really hurting. (I was diagnosed the year before with tennis elbow from the repetition). Of course it doesn't help that my day job I stay on the computer. lol Excited to see how your gardening comes along! Hope you have a great two weeks and looking forward to your progress!

I think you can finish those 4 projects you are so close. I have shoulder problems and had rotator cuff repair. i have to sit with my arms supported by pillows under each arm when i am having a flare up, i can only stitch for several hours and then i need to take a break. They do injections for tendonitis. I hope you feel better sweet friend!

Love all the projects! As an avid knitter who has been fighting tennis elbow due to knitting be very careful. Listen to your arms. Stretches are great if you Google stretches for tennis elbow. Ice is good, too. I have had to quit knitting until I can have surgery. Shots can help, too. If you haven't gotten that bad yet though, I would suggest rest, stretches, braces for tennis elbow and ice. I know it sounds crazy, but I wish someone had warned me. Happy stitching!

I would have thought maybe your tension was too tight when you are knitting, but it doesn't look like it. So strange. I don't get forearm pain, but when I was a new knitter, my hands would get crampy from holding my needles in a death grip.

Oh pretty lady thank you so much for the very lovely shout out. I do have some tips for knitting pains, they are hard to describe, so I will make a point to show them on my next video. Your sock look fantastic by the way. Your stitchy projects look so fun. I don't think I've really seen the sparrow sampler before. I have to tell you, one the neat things I did durning the pandemic, was to buy a bird feeder so I can watch the birds, and yes we get lots and lots of sparrows come to visit. Hi Melanie, I am doing In my Father’s House too. I know I’m going to love your colors more, but think there is a kind of beauty in the duller greens too. I wanted to make my house pink too, but stuck with the called for colors. I’m a knitter too. Maybe you should learn the continental way of knitting. It is supposed to use less movement and be more economical with your hands.
