      How are you verified?

      @@Purzify Have not tried that particular machine in real life yet, but know of some labs that use a previous version. This is much more compact and well suited for small runs. Speeding up the time from prototype to production. But as you mention, have not verified it in real life yet!

    Hello Mia Chen, I purchased NeoDenYY1 and IN6 with free pedestal, is it possible to ship in Guangzhou before January 6, 2023?

    Looks like lot of machine parts made by 3d printing? Is this a prototype unit or the final one? how durable are the plastic?

      They are using 3d printed to cut costs. Weve just ordered this machine for prototyping and larger component placement for components higher than 7.5mm as this machine will accept, Neoden 4 doesnt and is fairly hopeless for components above 12mm reels in its feed system and doesnt accept aluminium caps as height is 5.5mm and wont go round the feed mechanism.

    Hi, What is the reason that components cannot be installed on this machine more than 18x18 mm? I need to put TQFP100 and TQFP144 sometimes. How can this be fixed?

    • @lukehilton8225
      @lukehilton8225 Před rokem

      its because of the camera, Neoden 4 does the above sizes but just about covers it. You can manually program it to pick larger components with camera off but you need to make sure your component registration is bang on.

      Please note that this isnt accurate for super fine pitch chips, better placing by a rework station. The machine will get you there or there abouts but you will have to manually adjust a chip under magnification and then experiment with solder viscosity and flux to bring the component lined up on its pads as the solder heats up. We use Neoden 4 for placing chips

      We have just ordered one and it was £2800 delivered to the UK so super good value for money really. Should take around 14 days to arrive.

      @@lukehilton8225 Are you happy with the machine? I'm concerned about the repeatability because no fiducials are measured automatically. How about the calibration? Is it reliable? Is the assembly correct up to 0603, without an offset? Thanks!

    • @lukehilton8225
      @lukehilton8225 Před rokem

      @@smartelec nope, its shit, not intuitive or logical programming, weve used it once, The drag pin gets stuck so doesnt lift back up properly and repeatability is poor even on 0603. I wouldnt bother tbh. We will be selling it.
      We have the Neoden 4. Again doesnt do what it claims to do, feeders are temperamental, does do 8mm but anything above again doesnt feed through accurately, feeder depth is inadequate so will not do 5.4mm electrolytic, Also chucks components around too even at 0603. Definitely will not do 0201 accurately although Much more accurate and a good price for what it in its price range, but hard to setup as pigeon english manual and weve had to have constant support, doesnt do LQFP or Rasberry pi accurately so we are now sub contracting out until we build the business up and then will be investing £200k in an essemtec system which is a million miles away from anything chinese built. There is absolutely no way that Neoden 4 is a high quality production machine for modern electronics manufacture, its small batch, prototype, and you wouldnt make much money off them. Get around 40 boards a day with around 65 components per board max if that. YY1 likely around 20 maximum.
      Essemtec we have found are best in size and class at 1m x 1m and 1 head is faster than 4 heads on a neoden 4 for example and is 26 micron accuracy at high speed. Weve found you really do get what you pay for when picking SMD machines so we wont be touching anything Chinese until they get a firm grasp of modern programming setup and quality accurate workmanship on feeders. Id have rather paid an extra £10k to have saved myself the extra work they have caused.

    2880$ and 700$ shipping for a 45kg item ... that better be delivered by king on foot for that price
