This includes Worf's character ark from an eager to prove himself in battle lieutenant to a commander who can make the hard choices and decline offers for glory even if it means to live in exile.
Especially considering that he was in love with Jedzia himself (though i think Bashir at that time was a changeling). Sadly i can still remember pretty well how that feels like *sigh*
