I had an absolute blast putting this together! I took a road trip with some of my TrekTok friends to see the Janeway statue, so I figured I might as well make a music video! Special thanks to my friend Rick (@randomgotham on TikTok) for taking the beautiful shots of the statue I used at the end. Also kudos to Rick and Brittany for helping me film the music parts too! - Hudba
If Harry Kim had done this tune with the same amount of heart blood as you did, Captain Janeway probably would have had no other choice than to finally promote him Lt.Jg.
I always wanted him to get a new rank made for him like Ensign Sr Grade. There's no real difference but you can't just let the young lad stay an ensign for 7 years when Tuvok got promoted to Lt Cmd and Tom got promoted demoted and promoted again.
@@guyplus3053Indeed.
@@guyplus3053 "Someone's gotta be the Ensign" - Brannon Braga
Ah, the endless vendetta against Harry Kim. I sometimes wonder if the showrunners didn't promote him out of mind-blowing incompetence, or they were deliberately trying to humiliate Garrett Wang. If the latter, we have spent 22 years giving the bullies exactly what they want.
@@AdmiralKareliaExcept TNG had no ensigns in the main cast aside from Wes's short turn as one. And DS9 had no ensigns in its main cast, ever. And ALL recurring ensigns on both shows (as well as Chekhov on TOS) were promoted.
Mr. Braga was full of crap.
There's talent in that nebula.
And coffee.
Yes! 👍 Voyager is my favourite Star Trek opening theme of all time! Stunning visuals and music to suit. You had me cruising through that beautiful scene again where Voyager parts the mist in the nebula! ❤️🛸
Absoutely perfect.. I still think the Voyager theme is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. It's perfect, and just as beautiful in flute! thank you!
So beautiful! 'Voyager' is my favorite Star Trek series and Kate Mulgrew's performance as Captain Janeway was flawless. Thank you!
We should honor all our captains like this.
I love how Goldsmith weaved in Ilea’s Theme into the bridge. Great Job and Great Arrangement! Love the altos!!
I'm not a trekker but I know a lovely piece of music when I hear it.
We are called Trekkies!
@@colintoupin You know what the difference between a trekker and a trekkee is?
The Trekkie gets upset when you call him a Trekker.
Same darn thing.
Mr. Paris, set a course for home.
This was simply so beautiful. Janeway and Voyager are so glorious and breathtaking.
Oh no, now I'm going to be humming the theme all week! (Seriously, awesome job!)
Beautiful. ❤ Nerds are extra special !! (Yup, always been odd:)
Oh, brave Captain... such an inspiration.
Never knew a statue for a star trek captain existed in this fashion
There’s one in Iowa for the future birthplace of Captain Kirk, which inspired this group in Bloomington to make one for the future birthplace of Janeway.
Kirk has one in Riverside, Iowa, I think. But we need a couple in Labarre, France and New Orleans, LA, for Picard and Sisko. And maybe one for Riker in Valdez, Alaska. Preferably straddling a park bench. 😂
Brava on so many levels. I remember hearing this after you first posted and it is great to return and hear it again. Thank you Nerdy Flutist for a stellar version of the Voyager theme.
The power of music. I am particularly prone to the lure of the flute. That was deeply moving. Thank you.
The Borg would have considered it perfection 🥰🥳
Voyager has always been my favorite trek and this is astonishingly beautiful and perfect
Awww perfect. This turned out great. And using my clips of the statue. I swear with Janeway’s smile and your music I nearly teared. 🖖🏼
Great job 🤓
So cool. Thank you!
That was an unexpected treat while searching through Dtar Trek scotes to find yours and especially how well you played and edited it! Thank you so much for sharing this!🖖
Fascinating!
Wow! My mom would have loved this (she loved the _Voyager_ theme).
Standing applause!
Bravissima un abbraccio a tutti gli amici di Voyager ❤9
in the words of neelix...

Gorgeous!
Excellent
Just finding all of your music videos from the past.
I just this rendition of the Star Trek Voyager theme, too!
This is evokes a different feeling in me than the solo tin whistle version you did.
You are a very talented musician.
Everything I listened to, from you, from all the diffetent Star Trek music you recorded, has just been beautifully played and executed.
Beautiful
Love it!
Loved it!!!!
Absolutely wonderful. Got yourself another subscriber
Perfect!!
Hermoso ! 🖖
Wow, great!
Really nice 😊 I hope Kate mulgrew sees it 😊
She actually did! Not only that, but she got to see me play live at the statue and I got to meet and have dinner. It was a wild day! There's a video on my channel where I tell the whole story.
So mega Hammer cool und schön❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It is a calming song but I always thought this to be such a sad theme song.. If you could add lyrics. It would say.. "I am lost in the delta quadrant and so far from home.. " The Next Gen song is more up-beat and adventurous..!
Neat!
Fuck yeah!!
👏👏👏
Is there any way to get you and 3 others to dallas to play an evening ?
I love you!!!
Ensign The Nerdy Flutist! U R so Goood!👍👍👏👏
dokonalé :-) :)
