Adventure bikes and storage go hand-in-hand but I've heard some real horror stories of what can happen to people to ride off-road with hard luggage. In a desperate attempt to keep my body safe, in today's video I'm installing a FULL SET of semi-rigged Lone Rider Luggage onto my 2023 CFMOTO Ibex 800T. Links to all the gear down below!

If you want to learn dirt, pick up a dirt bike or rent one at durhamtown, highland park, etc. and get your dirt legs on a small bike that is easy to pick up.
You’re not wrong. I did that with my Pan America and the first time I laid it down off road was the last time I went off road with it.
Very very good suggestion.
OC: Chase the King of ALL the bags. He's ready to star in the live action movie of the Days Gone game with the IBex.
Love Lone Rider’s product line!
Oh man. 6am on Sunday here in Australia, sat down to check the internet with a coffee, have just about decided to buy one of these with ALL the bells and whistles and just last night thought hmmm ... they have a soft luggage option and I'll never go offroad butt geez they look good in the brochure ... and here we have this video! Less typing, more watching ... EDIT: The brand available from CFM Aust is "West Wind" but now I have Lone Rider to consider. Thank you!
We LOVE LoneRider on our channel. Been using it for a couple years now
Lone Rider is premium. Would love to have one of their kits. Each month they have a giveaway and I keep applying. Just wish they did any other colour other than black. Stuff get cooked in the summer heat as you know. Lol 😆
Have you done the video for the tents? I don't see it in your playlist
I came down with the bike on a wet and slippery temporary bridge sliding across the bridge with the motobags full of stuff and can say they held up amazingly. Smallest little scuffs but the bags was ok. Can definitely recommend them. One thing I would say and this is truly first world problems is if you are stopping at different places like shopping at different shops and you keep open and closing them, and locking, then it's definitely a lot more tedious than say hard paniers. But I still prefer having these over the touratech panniers I had in the past
Just did my first break in service on my Ibex. Time to put some miles down now! I am loving the Cfmoto luggage. They are awesome. These look awesome too!!!
I rode one at a demo day. I felt the on off throttle was anarchy in 1-2 and a little in 3-4. Have u had this issue and if you have has there been updates
@@Adventure_blac they are all like that. You can do a throttle reset. Some people said it helps some.
Chase as others are saying you should really ride dirt with something lighter to get your goon on at first. Then when you have the dirt basics down, size up if you want. Once you ride dirt you will quickly realize why people don’t get such heavy bikes for real dirt riding.
C2W!! Before you get everything set where you want it you should grab a scale and see the weight difference between the two brands and styles!
Those are looking sick, Chase!
I totally agree. I’ve loved them so far.
Hi! , What MotoRacks are compatible with the CF IBEX 800, will they be the KTM or BMW ones? great Video!
Thanks im getting those panniers for my 1250GS over bmw hardcase ones. Thanks to you.
free stuff or sponsorship is incompatible with honest / valid reviews
Was watching your R7 video from a year ago, and realized, holy shit thats the same road my buddy totaled his CBR on. Didnt know you were from Georgia lol
I'm still trying to get used to the name Ibex,,,,, we call it the CFMOTO 800MT in Australia lol
Same here.
OC: SOoooo we're putting some of the smaller bags on the Papio XO-1 when I ride it from ATL to Houston? Lol
About to get to my first service of the bike. Overall good bike and enjoy it, comfortable. Do you notice that occassionally when downshifting coming to a stop the throttle surges in 3rd or 2nd gear just randomly? Something that makes me a little weary of the bike, needs an update or something.
dirty quickshifter sensor perhaps?
Mine does the same thing, I now pull the clutch to down shift to 2nd. It really is a safety hazard and needs to be addressed by CFMOTO, also MCU System Failure messages preventling you from goining into the the bikes settings is an issue that is not being addressed.
EDIT AS OF 08/18/23 CFMOTO sent a OTA update through the CFMOTO Ride app, it updated the Radiator fan logic and has fixed my issue with the MCU error! My faith has been restored! the Throttle mapping reset proceedure has also helped the throttle pulsing issue I was having and I have learned to control the throttle better over time. Loving this bike each time I Ride it!
The rackless panniers are on the short list. Everyone seems to rave about all of their kit and for good reason from what I've seen.
OC, you put whisky in the tall bags
Greetings Mr. Chase, sorry I missed the premier…😢
If you dont need, can you send me the smaller tent? 😁 i own an 800mt touring like you... my cases are from Givi, the Trekker line.
Waiting on new exhaust and tune video
I like the OEM bags on mine, but I really like Lone Riders Gear, But damn they are pricy.
BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE!!! 😂😂😂
Please do a first ride on a yamaha xmax 300. 🙏
That's a lot of bags, is that stuff for adventure riding or is it for shifting apartments?
Well, if you are doing a BDR trip for a week or two, the storage space is nice.
Really shaping up to be a goat/pack mule
👌👌👌
dude has money
If I ever need that many bags I'll take a car or truck.
If you aren't doing long distance trips on a bike, such as a BDR, you probably won't. But if you do, the storage space is nice.
1.7mil sub
And just 10 k views weird
48 comment 😂😂😂😂
the title of the video draw me to watch it ... but it does not answer.... it is mostly an unboxing/catalog/stacking video
I’ll keep that in mind for the longer term review
That junk is pricey, you should be prettiest dude on the trails if you ever get there.
Prefer bags, Boxes for pizza delivery riders. Also, remove rear cross brace bar. Hideous and unnecessary.
Lost me at 'I have reasons' just be honest about sponsorships or whatever.
i saw a couple of your videos and starting from the first one i can not really take you serious. You sound like aa sales persoon trying to sell something i bet all these companies pay you or give you free stuf to say all these things.
Also it makes no sense to me saying you are scared the hardcases might going to hurt you off-roading. You think on public roads your leg can not come between the case and a haard place ?
Do you really think with the weight of the bike the metal backplate of the soft case things will be very different if you hit your face iin the dirt ?
And how about you want to take camera gear off road do you believe the soft case gives your camera gear better protection compare to the hard cases ?
I believe the soft case company asked you to make a video and you can keep the bags and you said yes with that what ever you say about the cases i can not take serious
1.13 mil subs. 6.4k views in 2 months. Video that looks more like an advertisement of both Cf moto and Lone rider. No actually useful info. Meh
