Thank you Nisha for all the expert advice with all my questions answered... I'm in my 60s and never worn them before, but my hooded eyes look so insignificant and need some definition. I'm going to practice over weekend when not seeing anyone! 😀
Hi Nisha~ I still have that set of falsies in my cabinet from my 50th bday! Still haven't tried to put them on yet... thanks for the tips, should make it easier if I ever do try it, but I'm with Ellen B... everything is soooo much harder when you can't see!! xo
I am so glad I found you! I have tried fake eyelashes three times in my life and didn't know to let the glue set nor knew I could trim them nor knew how to place them. Watching your video I now know where I have gone wrong! I am so excited to get those lashes and glue out of my vanity tomorrow and start practicing! Thank you so so much for your video! You are a lifesaver! 🎉❤
i have hooded eyes, and love wearing false lashes from time to time, but don't think i've found the right ones yet that suit me, so this has been really helpful Nisha, will look out for the lashes you've mentioned xxx
Great tutorial, thanks. I'm horrible at false eyelash application. I have fairly long lashes for my age so I just do without but you've convinced me to try again.
Hi Nisha I just love ur tutorials u r so beautiful. I will b 50 in 5 months and was thinking maybe I'm too old for the false lashes until I just watched this video. I'm not good at putting them on but now this video makes me want to try a lot harder.
You read my mind when you did this tutorial- I bought your lash recommendation from long ago, loving them once I figured out how to put on. I also don't like that duo glue, will try this Ardel now. THANKS so much for help here and love love love wearing them now and needed this help SO much! THANK you NISHA!! :)
Great video sweetie. I have a huge collection of lashes and think that lately I have just gotten lazy lol. But for me I found it easier when I do wear them I cut my lashes into 3 sections. Has made it so much easier for me to put them on xoxo Rochelle
I learned that with the thicker lashes, you can wrap it around your pinky finger and let it sit there for a minutes before you apply the glue so that the lashes will curve along well to your lid.
Loved this Video Nisha, thank you! At 44 I love makeup and still glaming up but with age my eyes have become very hooded and lashes as much as I love them were becoming tricky, this helped a lot!
thanks for these tips Nisha, I don't wear falsies very much, but when I do my eyes always feel strange, sort of irrated and I can see the lashes when I blinking, so not sure if it's the glue (duo) so might try Revlon latex free. I know you filmed this a while ago, but I wish you knew what was on your lips as it looks so pretty. Joan x
I love you beautiful lady! We are the same age and you have encouraged me to start using makeup again and your tips have changed how I use my makeup. You are a doll!!!! Love the lashes! I've never tried Eyelure, but I will now. I've always used Ardell. I've got my Mom watching your videos and she has been inspired to. Thank you Nisha! Please keep making vids...new subbie:-)
Thank you for this Nisha I found it very helpful. I have never never worn false eyelashes but do you know I am going to give it a try they do make such a difference. Its good to have your insight into which ones to wear. Have a good day. xx
Love ur choice of showing us how to apply and the difference it makes especially in the outer corner how not to follow the line great tip, I'm still learning not giving up, my last one I got glue here & allover and then I got itchi had to remove also thanks for the laugh as u go I'll look more hooded lol ur gorgeous & ur little pretty girl expression when ur mind pause for a second I bet that's the look u gave many times as a child & still very cute
:) im 20 and i find this video very helpful. im asian and ofcourse i come with a natural hooded eye, i just dont go to extreme and get cosmetic surgery like most of my peers. love this video so much
LonJon SNOW I am glad you are not getting cosmetic surgery, I happen to think that asian eyes are great for applying make up,yes I know you don't have a crease, but that can be fixed with shadows, but you have great lid space to work on. Thank you for watching. xoxoNisha
Hi Nisha, As a result of my eyes becoming more hooded I started wearing lashes daily a year and a half ago. My Holy Grail are Andrea Modlash #80 because they are more natural than the Demi Wispies & really lift the outer eye. I will try the Eyelure ones. If you force yourself to put them on all the time you will get the hang of it and I totally agree with you that the results are worth it. Short of surgery nothing works like lashes. Greetings from Canada
It looks great,IV won't to try eye lashes, but never none how to do it,I now no to bye clear glue and have an idea of how to do it,thank you for the advice,by the way wow they make the eye much bigger.
Hi Nisha, great tips and love the look of the Ardell lashes, but I have tried so many times to apply lashes and fail miserably every time, I really don't know where I'm going wrong :) xox
Wow thank you so much... I just joined ur channel.. I'm learning so much from you I can't even believe it... I've been told for years eye lashes are a hooded eyes best friend but all the ones I've tried have been such a fail.. I can't wait till the morning cause I'm going to purchase ur favs.. Lol... Thank u again n can't wait till ur next video... Xoxo
Hi Nisha, your videos are so much fun to watch and learn, thank you for sharing your secrets! - Despite my old age (in my fifties now), I am new to eye make up. I have hooded eyes like you, and all I have tried before, made me look even worse, so I left them all natural, but now would love to have a go with your tips. If you were I, with mature brown eyes (and hair), what eye palette, available in the UK, would you recommend buying? I guess I better stick with matte ones? Would be lovely to hear from you. Esthi xx
Hi my hoodie sista lol great video and the two lashes you spoke about I have but I also have small eyes too sometimes I do half lashes which help it makes my eyes look more cat eye like oh and btw I ordered the eye cream hopefully it will help my bags under my eyes too
Great video, very helpful. What are your thoughts on the individual lashes? Are they easier and how long do you leave them on? Thank you. You always look soooooo beautiful! Love your tutorials!
I use only the whispys too-- but I cut mine in 3 pieces- apply with black glue and tweezers- easy peezey!-- plus they are easier to the remove -clean and reuse when they are in smaller sections.. LASHES have come a long way!!! THE BLACK glue may work on me because the sections are easier and I have very dark eyes. perfect video you explaine this so well.....!!! lots love shelly
You are now my favorite! I love how you explain everything without just babbling away...like, you know how you look up, say a recipe? I just want to know that damn recipe I don't want a dissertation to have to read about how your mother made you eat this when you were a kid blah blah blah just give me the damn recipe and be done with it and that's how you are I like your videos very very very much. 💜
SOO agree! I have naturally VERY hooded eyes. Have had since I was very young. Indian blood my mom always said. I collect lashes like wrinkles...but am HORRIBLE at putting them on. I just popped in on the scene after years of viewing...I've got a few videos up. Editing them..ALL I saw was my EYELIDS!! lol
such a fun time watching your vids and this one offers come-to- the-rescue tips. i got into false lashes back in high school. the model "Twiggy" was the big rave back then. mini-skirts and tons of long luscious flirty lashes (the more the better) were in style. i couldn't have lived without them. at times, i even slept in them. no sirree, you'd never catch me without them on otherwise i'd look naked.LOL! they really do help to camouflage hooded lids. thank the heavens for false eyelashes! ;-)
Have you tried the Velour Lashes? More expensive, but all handmade mink lashes that last 28-33 wears. I love them! Love your videos...keep them coming!
Hi Nisha, thank you for another informative tutorial! If I can just reduce my crepey hoods and diminish the bags (started the Tranquility Bag cream today)... I may just have a more attractive eye look. I tried lashes yesterday and they were far too long and thick and were rubbing my hoods :-O. Not a good look but have ordered Demi wispies and pixies and look forward to trying them next! Thank you so very much; you are my gem find for the year!!
Oops. I forgot: Just a tip for anyone that is interested. The dark lash glue can be applied with a toothpick to make a little beauty mark like Marilyn Monroe. Better than doing it with a pencil-much more natural and believable! So, if you've mistakenly bought the dark, try a beauty mark. Love you dear!!!
Do you need to use anything to take the eyes lashes out? I have never use before and I am curious about use. Oh and after use them, do you need to clean where the glue was? Thank you for this interesting video, Hugs, Nat
What do you think about the individual lashes? I have never used false lashes, but I saw someone use individual lashes glued to the outside corners of the eye to lift and lengthen the eye. What do you think, Nisha?
I have tried them long time ago and couldn't get on with them but I might try them again (now that you mentioned them lol) if I do I will do a video. thank you xoxo
I use the dark glue, and get it all over the damn place, but here's what I do. First I put on mascara and tight line....that is it. Then I put on the lashes, wait for the glue to dry and rub off the extra globs. *Then* I make up my eyes. :) Anyway, that's what works for me.
Hi Nisha, I was wondering if you could give me the numbers on the demi pixies and on the ardel demi wispies, if you mentioned the numbers on the video I'm sorry I didn't catch them, I watched the video 3 times to see if I could get the numbers but I couldn't, so if you could please send me the numbers I would really appreciate it, I would like to buy some soon , thank you my dear friend. ☺
Nisha, im 45 and would LOVE to wear lashes, but im scared...because when i take them off i feel so damn ugly and my eyes feel "bold" lol, i dont think i would be able to live without them, anyone else feel the same or is it just me!?!? x

Love how these really open the eye. I've had some now for over a year but have been afraid to try. Will certainly give it a go!

Thank you. Love your tutorials. Could you possibly do one on how to get your eyebrow look?
thanks for these tips Nisha, I don't wear falsies very much, but when I do my eyes always feel strange, sort of irrated and I can see the lashes when I blinking, so not sure if it's the glue (duo) so might try Revlon latex free. Hi Nisha. Great video. I have Hooded eyes and I'm allergic to the latex in eyelash adhesive. My problem is, I can't find latex free adhesive :(
Ooh! I received some lashes in a beauty subscription and have been wondering what to do with them! Watch out hoods, you're going down!
Thank you Nisha, thanks for getting back to me soon.

Good tip Nisha. You look beautiful as always. ♥ Elle
It's putting them on when you can't see without glasses! No one blind as a bat has demonstrated how. 15X magnification & the image is still blurry!
That's me as well.

I love the.eyemakeup look do you have a video for this look?
One thing do you put mascara onto your own lashes first before applying the falsies xx
Yes I do so I don't cover my false ones with mascara and then I can reuse them.
xoxo

No honey , you just pull them of (it's easy and it dosn't hurt lol) and then you just pick off the glue a bit like chewing gum xoxo
Great information!!
What are good eyelashes for hooded eyes AND eyeglass wearers??? Help ?!?!?
Baby demi wispies
How often do lashes need replacing please?

Your video is too long and you talk way too much.
