@@philipmorris2223all due respect, romanzo criminale has a touch of romantism from the distant era to it with some good metaphors, while Sopranos has a lot of comedy (obvious, subtle, dark), mystic elements, constant nostalgia, then realism of "the life" and civil life in modern setting. While Gomorra is pure ultra serious realism, no comedy or any other ingredient to dilute it or divert attention from. My point being, they're different at their core, and that's why they're all worth watching.
I am just finishing watching Gommorah. When I listen to the song it gives me shivers and tears in my eyes. A beautiful song. With this music one is reminded of the whole series which is brilliant. Incredibly connected emotionally with Ciro and Gennaro
if you want to write it, this is not northern Europe here there is poverty, and the young people feel the urge to live, to enjoy life, even to create a family,wife and children, but if you have no money ... it does not change nothing, so they will continue to put their life on the line because it is not bearable to see others enjoying life while you are poor.

it's been a long time since I've given myself emotionally to a series like I did with Gommorah. Each character in the series plays a key role, each character has its story which make this series a masterpiece. If you haven't seen the "behind the scenes" series, this is highly recommended.

I watched the first 3 seasons in 2017 and have been hyping it up to anyone who’ll listen since, last week I watched season 4 then the movie and just finished season 5 last night, it’s a good thing the show isn’t massive because I’d have been exposed to some heavy spoilers but the show will always be massive to me I feel like it’s the end of an era 😢
Netflix had this series several years ago but only the first two seasons and lost the rights due to some issues with the Weinstein company. I just discovered it again within the past week and have watched seasons 3 and 4 and am in the middle of the final season. It is the best show I’ve ever seen. I’m getting anxious wondering how it’s going to all end between Ciro and Gennaro. This ending score always gave me goosebumps.

@@peterpenny4673 I was satisfied with the end; really satisfied. We learned in this show early on not to get too attached to any character. I figured it was going to have to end with both of them dying and I like that it kept true to the show where you can get clipped by anyone. We never saw the face of who killed Ciro or Gennaro. They were just other men in the life who will probably meet their end in the same way. In the end, Ciro and Genny, through all of their history and trauma, knew who the other was, and had a true brotherly type love for each other. It was perfect and I was taken aback by how emotional I became in those last moments of them on the ground next to each other.
The most godless show in the country that preaches godliness. Absolute brutal, edge of the seat thrill. This out smarts every American garbage made these days. Ciro achieved God mode brilliance.

just started watching last week ill finish season 2 later today and start season 3. I absolutely love the show its awesome and i love the way it ends each episode with this. It really adds a weight to the seriousness of everything and how everyone is coping or feeling, it just works really well.
The series shows perfectly, even fictional, how today's mafia stepped far away from it's origins by selling their soul to toxic psychoactive and mind altering addictive drugs all and only for money and greed instead of fighting for the little man like farmer knights during the dark mid-ages in which most mafia organisations were first time mentioned. The problem for the commons is that due the interconnection with the upper society and politics, factually the new lords, along with an absence of a counter force they life in an anarchic world of their own in which even prison cannot stop them.
