It’s kinda all encompassing, Nisio Isin is a genius and you can read a lot out of it. It’s meta about anime, it’s about sexuality, idk man just watch it,
so tru, i love how it's rewarding in the end of the arc and understand every little info that i didn't understand in the beginning

Dropped this anime 3 times, but after watching all of the Monogatari series it turned into my favorite anime series of all time.

Now when you re-watch it later, you'll be like how tf did I drop this that time? It's a hard show to get into, but if you do, it's absolutely amazing. I didn't drop it, but I remember It took me like a good month getting through Nise. Everything else was always amazing for me, thankfully.
I feel like monogatari is an amazing show but it's taking me over a year to finish it and I'm still on mayoi jiangshi

Etoile et toi is such an underrated anime OST. My first thought when hearing the song was to play it on piano.

I completely agree, and it fits Kizu perfectly. The two voices, young and old, the buildup, the sad piano. The story of Kizu is a tragedy, a love story, and a prologue to the series as a whole. 10/10 song for the movies.
The Monogatari Soundtrack offers a song for every single mood, it's fascinating
Monogatari is one of those shows you gotta stick to cuz it is very confusing at the start but once you understand what the show is about, you appreciate a whole lot more. I started it and it was at best a 7/10 for the first 2 seasons then i watched monogatari second season and was blown away at how good it was. When i finished it all i wemt back to watch the first 2 seasons and realized how amazing this show is from the start. Please give monogatari a shot
at first i didnt want to start a long series, because i want to finish things in one sitting if i can. but the way the show was structred, the layers in story telling, the complexity compared to most of the usual anime, and the very abstract "artistry" type of visuals are just something i havent seen anywhere else. it always impresses me how you can write a story that deep and also portray so many things in a coherent and abstract way
For me, the turning point into loving the series was the last episode of Nisemonogatari. It was just so beautiful, it became the one episode I would go back to just because of how much I loved it
Please do one of these but only with kizumonogatari themes. Some of the jazz themes are incredible
I was actually excited to see that you did Kattenahanashi... I think this is one of the most underrated tracks in the series, it's so ominous while feeling like you're on a carousel of madness.
First time when I heard sutsugyou I was like "Nope, it's not for me. It's not dark enough". Now, when a lot of things changed in my life, when I listening to this piece I'm nearly crying... and I feel happiness.
When I first heard this at the ending of kizu, instead of proceeding to the next season this music just captured me.
love the graphics man, really gives the mood and feels of picture cut scenes used in monogaatari, love the music too!

One of my most favorite of this series is its variety in soundtrack. From your normal anime upbeat themes to such classic themes. Can't help falling in love with this series

You could also take a look at tsukimonogatari OSTs. There are a few sad ones there as well. Like "owari no hajimari" and "zetsubouteki no kaitou" but maybe transcribing those for piano would be difficult.

I've learned kattenahanasi, and now I'm trying to play sotsugyou right from this video. For me there is no difference between this video, and tutorial ones (except colors for each hand).

Doesn’t it represent the like 400 years Kiss Shot has been alone? While the lyrics are more about what her and Araragi now have? I haven’t looked too much into the song but I think it fits especially with the words they say to each other in Kizu III and then later, Owari 2
