Congratulations. Frankly Clannad is one of the most beautiful anime I ever watched. Watched it about seven years ago when I was in high school. Cried because of the second part of the season 2. It was really full of emotions. Now I am eagerly waiting for Key next anime

The sunflower field scene is one of the most beautiful scenes in anime industry, it doesn't even have a flashback death or something like this but it is still so sad...

the sunflower field scene will go down as one of the greatest scenes of fiction i don’t remember the last time i cried like that
I've tried watching that scene 6 times. Never manage to end them without crying as a toddler. Not even came close.
Had to give up. The foundation built throughout the story is impecable for that climax. You gotta give kudos when they're deserved. Great direction and writing, a true masterpiece.

No doubt about it, IT IS.
This anime taught me how to feel again, but also brought out some feelings I never wanted to come out. I just hope the best for everyone, and all I ever wish is the happiness and joy of others, but I crave that in which comes in time with patience. Something that those who have it have earned it through their dedication and diligence. I just wish it could come to me sooner because I don't know how much longer I can wait. I want these feelings to just go away.

Clannad will always be my favorite anime. The lessons it taught me are truly invaluable, and its soundtrack was filled with music that perfectly suited the emotional scenes. Good work on this

@@jessedunn5563 i think it teaches the lesson that nothing is forever and things are always moving on ,and that we should value our family and friends more because we dont know when we will see them for the last time. at the same time it teaches us to be more honest to ourselfs and be more open with our emotions. idk thats atleast what i personally got out of clannad. rant over lmao
@@Lasse_kreikemeier that’s the same thing I took away after watching Clannad. Even got a tattoo of my favorite quote from the anime and to say that it changed the way I live and view events in my life is an understatement.
Nagisa had the best Character Development in the History of Anime. I just dont know why but if i hear her "Dango" Song im just forced to cry.

Clannad is the base for anime for kanon, air, the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, angel beats, golden time and other romance anime
A god level anime. World will never see such an anime IMO. Clannad made me cry so much.... i was almost like brainwashed for 7 days.. A true masterpiece
I showed my fiance clannad he didn't understand why I loved it so much at first until we finished it.
Now here I am pregnant, watching him getting excited with our ushio coming in August. We both never been happier.

Roaring tides has some of the most emotional attachment out of all the soundtracks in anime, Clannad : After Story is a truly touching and important experience.
The 3 dislikes are 3 people that had nostalgia and cry and the tears land on the dislike button and they didn't realised it

Clannad was one of my first animes I completed and I remember being overwhelmed and confused bc I didn’t expect that an animated series would get me so emotional

One of the anime that changed smth in me a long time ago, how magical it is, how a literary, animated, or anything of the sort can have such an effect! I would like to imagine myself having not watched or read the things that helped build up my current self.
One of the best anime I have ever watched, it was such a good love story but It made me cry how the story turned it such way that I never had expected.
This show made me have feelings iv not had ever since I first watched it, it definitely brings them back listening to these songs again after a long time
And this still makes wanna cry.
Clannad changed my life.
I went from a selfish, idiot, retard who never cared for anyone (even not my parents), to a caring little sweet boi, who wants to make others happy, and make sure that no child has to ever be sad.

Who else here remembers the pain in this anime. But can't bring themselves to pause the music and start getting the feels again. While trying not to cry again.
This soundtrack really is something. It's been almost a year since I read the visual novel and the soundtrack is still giving the chills & memories.
It's been a while since I heard this music. CLANNAD was the first anime I have ever got interested into. And after finishing it I searched and listened to all the OSTs of this anime. And now hearing this reminds me of those times.
Every time I hear the soundtrack for this anime, tears instantly form in my eyes. ;-;

I remember watching Clannad all they way up to episode 16 of After Story. I stopped because it was too much for me. This was back in 2015. Just a few weeks I decided to finish watching it, and funny enough I didn't bat an eye at Nagisa's death. And then....
I cried like a little baby at Ushio's death. I'm 27 right now and it takes a LOT to make me cry, but Ushio's deatg scarred me. My family decided to tease me saying "cartoons" are for kids, so I forced them to watch it. It was so weird to see family I never seen cry before break into tears, so I dunno if it was a good thing or not to show them
Ushio's death is just the most painful thing in this whole anime, or in any anime for me. It's been years since I watched Clannad, but I would 100% bawl my eyes out when I'd see the scene again. Clannad was unforgettable and scarring anime, but I don't regret watching it.
Absolutely fantastically done--to not include Snowfield is an absolute crime, but nevertheless, absolutely fantastically done.
Clannad is the one and only anime I've watched that has made me cry every damn time. It doesn't matter how many times I've watched it, or how well I know what's about to happen, every damn time, I cry.

I turn on the game the other day as I was cleaning my pc, as soon as the main screen music started my adolescence went through my eyes in a second, it felt like visiting an old love you have forgoten but somehow all the feelings remain abandoned there waiting for you to comeback, we were blessed to experience this story during our youth

The first anime i ever watched through my own findings , first anime to make me cry and first anime i fell in love with , i rewatch seasonally just to remember the tears i shed , i loved the characters but all i wished was we got a season , just specials or something of heaven (the world depicted at the end credits after Tamoya finally joined his wife and daughter) , just to see him finally happy in life

I can still recall all these tender feelings. And Clannad will always hold a very huge place in my soul. I know that since the first episode to this day on. Ah yes... clanned had a depressing vibe attached, but it was still a great anime. I teared up and im not a cryer... the movie was equally as depressing too. Great stuff
