I have followed Leonid and his group of friends from the beginning of their rise here in the US. More importantly… Leonid and his friends are humble people. Their story of Leonid and how he got to where he is and make this happen is awesome.
This band has too be one of the most musically talented I've ever seen, or heard! The production, recording, musical score writing all of it, is truly remarkable. I read an article where Leonid talked about how many of the songs they cover don't have musical scores for the instruments of songs they play. They painstakingly listen, break down, write the music and then practice until each individual instrument is pitch and tone perfect. Leonid also discussed that many times they have to record parts of the same song in different studios, with different instruments, vocals etc and then masterfully tie them all together. Few, if any do this because it is so time consuming and labor intensive, but they routinely pull it off! Watching this band is such a treat, the passion, respect and love they put into every song is just incredible!
One thing I have noticed before and get a kick out of is the lady around @2:50 and @4:57 sitting with the strings on the end. She is swaying with eyes closed and a look of joy on her face. I suppose not only listening but being part of this beautiful music has to be thrilling and sense of joy.
I was so glad to see that someone else noticed the string section and how much they were enjoying themselves, and this is not the first time that I have seen that same happiness. And of course the horn section was incredible. The trumpet was so good that I am wondering if we have the same level of talent still residing here in the states. Bravo ... BRAVO ... to the entire group of musicians and vocalists and Leonid and his wonderful staff.

Leonid and Friends currently doing the western leg of their 2023 tour. I have seen them several times and my brother-in-law was abke to promote them for a show here in Central Illinois back in October 29, 202l. Great people who genuinely do it for the love of the music
Whenever they tour through The Midwest they play at The Arcade Theater in St. Charles, Illinois (up near Chicago) and at The Wildey Theater in Edwardsville, Illinois. I love going to The Wildey. I've been to The Arcade a couple of times to see The Musical Box (a Peter Gabriel era tribute band), but that's a long drive.
I am an audio connoisseur, and I have never heard such high-quality consistency on any other CZcams channel. Hats off to you. One of my adult kids works in the recording industry in Atlanta, and I just had to forward your channel to him.

I first came across Leonid and Friends on this cover, and I was blown away! Not only for the excellent vocals, the precise musicians, but also the phenomenal videography of the studio recordings.
Man you are on point with this one from way back ,the horns , the strings combined with the sweet voice just smooth the song out but Lenny Williams vocal said it all😊

This cover is great and the music is fantastic and spot on... but in my opinion Lenny Williams has the clearer better voice but the guy singing lead did a great job.
Very good cover. There is not much here to criticize. The young singer does a credible job, although he's no Lenny Williams but then no one is. Lead Trumpet is technically flawless with Greg Adams Trumpet solo but just to be nit picky they original solo was done with a Flugel Horn. Seems that if they could heir an entire string they could come up with a Fugel Horn.
This song makes me cry about a woman I once loved and did the same thing. She later came back after getting married! But I let her go again. Glad I did. She was kind of a bitch my friends later told me. Love is tricky business.
If you can't appreciate what Leonid and Friends are doing, well, I just think you simply don't understand music. Even when they cover songs I'm not really a fan of, it's still obvious the skill they bring to the cover.
