Thanks a lot! I had new garage doors installed last spring and with the cold weather this week one suddenly had a 3/8 gap on the bottom. I had no idea how to adjust. After watching your 4 minute video, it took me maybe 2 minutes to grab a screwdriver then find the adjustment screw on the side of the lift and then turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Door then closed perfectly!

Put up with a gap at the top seal for a couple of years even though it appeared sealed at the bottom. Living in Maine that meant a cold garage. A few moments watching this, simple and clear - adjusted the down force. Done!!!! Perfect seal all the way around. Thank You!!! Such a help!!!!

Most likely you have a situation where one of the drums which winds up the cable on each end of the garage door has slipped and now is a little longer/shorter compared to the other side. You will need to take the tension off the springs to make the adjustment. This video does a good job explaining the process. czcams.com/video/jRHdDjgu8gA/video.html
