I like that she has a kind of cell shading look like the borderlands games. You don't see that style often in custom dolls. The vibrant colors are very mermaidy but she is still unique. ❤

That's actually really nice to hear! I honestly don't think I could do my dolls any other way because they just kinda...happen lol. Maybe if I was more intentional about things or tried to avoid something, but I am happy with them so I'll leave it be. Yup! That's another term for them 😚 My sister is a nurse and I think different hospitals/regions call them differently. She said they call them Kelly Grips in hers, but Hemostat is the official name I think!

First time seeing narwhal mermaid doll at all, such cool idea, love her pallete too! She gives off so warm, and friendly vibes, and her braids and decors in it gives me some sort ethical/traditional vibes too, it's very cool!

That yarn looks so shiny and silky where you find that, and the doll is just gorgeous!
Thank you! I think it's two kinds of "chunky" yarn. One is Yarn Bee in the "luxe" size, and the other is Lion Brand/HomeTown, both in 100% acrylic.
I find the looser the weaving, the easier/better the yarn is to work with. :)
@@BlurredColors Yeah i loved the Luxe one Michaels had but they discontinued that one and I have not found one that is the same softness as that one was
She turned out SO CUTE!!!!! I love how sweet and gentle her face looks!!!! It goes along absoltely perfectly with the colors that you used on her skin!! Her outfit is the absolute amount of "outfit" to go along with her! Her accessories look great!!!

Lol yes! They are super useful for cleaning up messes 🤣 I just kept them all even though all my kids are out of diapers.

Narwhals are different colors.
They do come in different colors, but I was particularly drawn to the cute spotted ones since they made me think of my dog 🥰 Also had to add some pink and blue for the 🌟magic🌟
