Why other rich counties apart from the EU don’t help? Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait and others? Clearly EU is overwhelmed and can no longer provide a decent shelter for so many asylum seekers.

Almost all investment and resources are taken by the state where the capital is located (states are divided more or less ethnically, pakistan is home to 4-5 major ethnic groups native to their respective regions), so outside of the capital state the other areas are in turmoil from resistance groups and such due to the lack of attention the government is giving them

@@sonnyjohnson8887 I understand the case of those who are fleeing from war and threats, but it seems nowadays everyone believes they have the right to go live in EU countries on their whims while there’re many others who have to work hard to get there legally. Plus why cross countless borders of safe countries and only choose the counties with great benefits and free stuff, no wonder why people started to think they’re only taking advantage of the situation and not really “seeking asylum.”
They fled from authoritarianism, communism, oppression etc to enjoy freedom and democracy in the west

My great-great-grandparents were from Trieste. They settled in Argentina over 100 years ago. So sad their hometown is like this today.
