RIP...you're sorely missed.
FRFR
Tom Petty you are so missed.
RIP
Pure American Rock and Roll
Hell Yeah Y'all... RIP Tom
One of the best songwriters ever. And the Heartbreakers are such a fabulous band. Benmont Tench on keyboards and Mike Campbell don't get enough credit for how great they truly are.
"She's a Woman In Love (but it's not me)" is my favorite Tom Petty Tune....!
RIP and thank you for all the great music...!
I couldn't agree more. That one is my fav too!
Awesome 👏!! “Woman in Love” is another great Tom Petty music video from the same album
Great song and band!! Also check out "Breakdown" and "Here Comes My Girl" plus so many other of their wonderful hits. Miss you Tom, RIP❤
"She's a Woman In Love (but it's not me)" is my favorite Tom Petty Tune....!
@@2869may Oh yes, I like that one too!
BJ nailed it at the end. I graduated High School in 1984. The music I grew up on IS FIRE in every genre
My favorite Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song. I love the jangly Power Pop nature of it.
This came out in 1981 when I first got into Tom & the HB's. Love their old rocker songs!
"She's a Woman In Love (but it's not me)" is my favorite Tom Petty Tune....!
The waiting...for Tom Petty to return...is the hardest part.
Awesome song from TP & the HB's .
This song came out in the eighties.. I was young. I saw Tom Petty in concert back then great choice. He has passed away now. He had a unique voice
❤That voice.......is so special💔. TP&The Heartbreakers do not have a bad song. I miss not having new music by them but they left us so much amazing music🙏
One of my top fave TP songs! And you two are the absolute cutest, loved your banter at the end.
Grewup hearing Petty, great music
Love Tom Petty he was and still is a great artist
Amongst Tom’s best with the band!
oh i miss the days of listening to this song on the radio then waiting to listen to it again!
I believe it came out in 1976 or 77. Love love, love Tom Petty. Great songwriter
He was a great lyricist and knew how to create catchy hooks. Very missed, RIP Tom Petty ❤
Love me some Tom Petty. This song was from the very early 80s. I was in high school. Yall should check out "you don't know how it feels", one of his hits from the 90s.
Face cleaned up good from the pie Asia! lol..one of my favs from him. The Titans been known to play the chorus during waits on calls at the games. Yall are still just so adorable together...that yalls magic
One of my favorite Artist
Tom Petty - "A Face In The Crowd"
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What a great American song...
TP always has the most relatable lyrics period. It was his super power.
Came out spring of 81. If you listen to Stop Draggin' My Heart Around with Stevie Nicks, you'll hear the similar thread of sound the Heartbreakers had at that time.
Love TP!!
Came out in 81. The Waiting is the hardest part for sure, but once you know or have it, it's more precious to you. Good song!😂
How many of you remember when Homer Simpson was waiting the 3-day wait for his gun they played this song and Flanders walked by bus driver walked by it was a funny skit
Guys. "The Waiting is the hardest part." Such a good song. We all hate to wait.
I had this Tom Petty cassette when it first came out in 1978.
This was one of my favorite songs
but then most of all the songs on that album were really good.
Asia & BJ, you'll love his "Don't Do Me Like That" and "American Girl"!!! Early Petty!
I realized after Tom Petty passed away, that I listened to more of his music than anyone else in my adult life. Thank you Tom Petty, RIP.
BJ had my baby sprung!!😂😂❤️❤️🤘🏻
My favorite tom petty song hands down !!! ❤❤❤
Great song. RIP Tom Petty!!!
This song was played 149 trillion times on rock radio on the 80s.
Tom Petty and Bob Seger are my #2 & 3 all time favorites!! Neil Young is my #1
Missed this one. Peace, Love!!
This was my first cd ever still have it got it in like 3rd grade back in 1999 ,2000
Asia drop dead gorgeous and knock out eyes and that smile should be in toothpaste commercial :- )
if I see her out here with no ring it's open game bro..lucky fella tho
sorry bJ I seen your Super Bowl party you got a kid I'm sorry got a beautiful family
Y'all should listen to KING BEE by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers..you'll love it
Miss him so much
I sing this every time I do my samples at work, lol. Takes so long! 😂
Can't get any more classic rock. My favorite of his is "Refugee", but it's hard to choose there are so many. "Here Comes My Girl" is another favorite and then his duet with Stevie Nicks "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around"... then there's "American Girl" and "Free Fallin'"
Loved Tom Petty and I love you guys as a couple. You crack me up and inspire me by appreciating the music of my youth. Keep expanding your playlists with these wonderful reactions!
Speaking the truth about growing up in the 80s, you like someone it was all on you to make that call and wait to see if there was any positive vibe..no internet no instant communication, a lot of times you had to man up and do it in person which created some serious anxiety when you had to wait for that answer.
Great reaction guys! The best things in life are worth waiting for. We all have our “the waiting is the hardest part” story. Tom Petty hit it big when I was in high school. This song came out in 1981. The same year I graduated. ❤
Great reaction,guys...lol Happy Valentine's Day! T
His death is surely felt. RIP Tom Petty.
RIP 🙏
Damn I love that song
great artist song writer soooo sad he died i really wanted to see them play🥲
I saw Tom Petty 4 times. One of the times was his last tour with Joe Walsh. He died a few months later.
Y’all need to check out”Last Dance With Mary Jane” and “Runnin Down A Dream”. They have so many great tunes. Thanks.
One note and you can always tell it's Tom and the boys. Thanks for reacting to this one. He has so many great songs and sadly so few get reacted to.
Hey BJ and Asia, the waiting was the hardest part with that pie in the face wasn’t it?😂
Keep up the great reactions! You guys make my night😉 please check out Tom Petty doing “Here Comes My Girl” or “ American Girl” 👍
Asia is just the sweetest. You're a lucky man BJ. 😉
Killing it tonight 😎👍
Damn the Torpedoes is my favorite album - Refugee - Don't Do Me Like That - Here Come's My Girl
Timing, I just finished watching the 2024 Superbowl Pie to Asia face stream. The Wait, Wait, Go ahead, Wait! followed up with this video. The Waiting! lol
I heard a question on the radio this morning. What ONE artist would you choose to listen to on the longest road trip of your life. I think Tom is in my top 3.
I saw him live 24 years ago
I used to see him in Mudcrutch beforevthe Heartbreakers came along but with some ofvthe same musicians.
Play Tom Petty song, "You got lucky when i found you." Another Good one
pretty sure it came out around 1981
I know this isn't what the song is about, but I listened to it constantly when I was 2 weeks over due with my daughter.
One of the main songs of my 20's. Petty, Seger and Dylan are the best American rock songwriters of all time.
❤❤❤❤
It hit number 19 in 1981.

The last of the great American rockers.
I can never again hear this song without picturing Homer Simpson sitting in his front yard as tempting targets like Patty and Selma on a twin bike pass before him while he waits for his 5 day clearance for his gun permit. It's "The Cartridge Family" episode.
Breakdown! 🖖🏼
This is the first song he began working on after smashing his hand nearly beyond repair .
