I’m about to go away for 4 weeks to work all of Christmas and new years, and having 2.5 year old son at home wondering why I’m going makes this song ring so true, and so heartbreaking at the same time.
My mother's side from the family are all Aussies. I got a rly good connection with my uncle and his son. 2 weeks ago Nick (his son) arrived here. Probly the most awesome person i've met so far. His gf was rly nice as well. And now they are gone to the country of awesomeness again.. Wish i lived closer.. (Dutch). I still feel party Aussie and I'm damn proud of it.
Cog are the band that I have always wanted to hear. They have so much passion and purpose in their music. They are amazing musicians and I love every single second of their music. Keep it coming boys!
Amazing aussie Prog Rock band. Sharing Space is a VERY under rated album!!! Shame when the good bands break up and the bad ones keep going on and on and on and on and on and on
This is one of the most exciting clips Ive ever seen. Somehow these guys look awesome while punching out that devastating Oz rock. Foo Fighters all over. Fucking fantastic.
it's 2008. I wake up at 7 to the tune of Cog. Mum's making pancakes, dad's still working at the coal mines. After that, me and my brother go down to the forest to chop down trees. I love nostalgia
Saw these guys at hobart last Thursday! They are better live than on CD in my opinion. the drummer is nucking futs! Lead singer has a lot of charisma live too adds a whole lot of excitement to it!
I'm sure everyone already knows but just want to get the word out, if you miss Flynn's voice and guitars as well as Luke's bass Playing then check out 'the Occupants' it's their new band and have released two tracks "I've been thinking" and "wonderland" (for 48 hours on soundcloud, will be officially released in December. It will also make it's radio premiere on triple J, Sunday 6-7pm. The song writing is far superior to anything else I've heard before (especially wonderland). Cheers, in Cog we Trust.
personally my fav aussie band is pendulum, but cog is damn brilliant. only thing I wish is that I could find their cd's in canada. heard "what if" recently on satellite radio, and had to hunt it all down on the australian itunes page. have to say though, bloody brilliant.
Ive been listening to these guys forever, who cares about what bands fucking better, COG shows great originality and they have overly catchy songs which, in retrospect, were extremely successful prior to the bands break-up.
I missed them first time and then found them and then missed the fact that I had not been in a position to miss them - so they are back. My suggestion is this, Karnivool v Cog European tour in the Autumn/Fall - PLEASE + Vennart as first support
Why the f#(k did no one ever told us about this GREAT band over in Europe. ffs They broke up . pfffff... Can´t stop listening to their albums now! (thnx to Floating me!!) greetingz from da Lowlandz
Larry u need to understand that these guys have created an experimental album with different musical methods. who cares what they look like in the video clip its the sound they produce and thats whats pushed them to a damn good level of recognition in there music
As a FIFO worker in Australia with young kids. I have cried to this song many times

Absolute timeless classic, has inspired me for 13 years
