Do you sometimes add reborn neck rings to the head and limbs so they will turn on the non jointed bodies? I have several PG and AD factory dolls I am reborning and a couple true bargain find nice artist reborns. The factory dolls are terrible for having necks and some limbs that don't turn. I can't stand that so I have dismember a bunch to measure for the ring sizes. They are a lot more economical than purchasing a new body. Unless its an Ashton Drake, they have the worst/too short bodies on most of them which is awful when you're trying to dress them. I ordered an Aliexpress Miaio Maddie and the 3D painting is great, but she's huge and overstuffed in the body. She will be having a surgical intervention soon. I love your videos. You and your mom have so much fun together. I wish I could have had that with my mom. Your both so blessed to love and enjoy each other so well. 🥰

I DID IT ... I'm really kinda proud of myself. I fixed my flat squished June SCULPTS baby following your VERY helpful video. I used regular zip ties tho which I will eventually replace but I used hot water and towels and lots of patience to fix her suished face and stuffed her full added mini poly fil glass beads I was able to find at joann's and used an old sock instead of a stocking and I wish I could post before and after pics because the difference is amazing. I figured I couldn't ruin her anymore than she already was so why not try it out. Thank you so much for this wonderful easy to follow along video. You are awesome 😎

This was really helpful ladies. I’ve been fixing up my own babies forever but the EYELASHES OMG. NIGHTMARE so I just don’t put any on. Plus changing eyes always seemed hard but you made it look easy. Also I was looking at aliexpress and the shipping was more then the item!!

Lots of good tips! I have made so many trials errors. The first baby I changed the body of was farm fresh and omg I wanted to throw everything out the windows cause of those stupid zip ties lol I have gotten better at it since then thank god lol any tips on removing e6000 off a dolls eyeball that u can’t take out of the dolls head cause her head is hard as a rock? I have tried acetone but that just made it worse I also tried 911 formula but it’s still there
With zipties I use cuticle cutters to cut old ones off to get limbs off as there small pointed angled. and cut new ones flush so no sharps. You can even get them at dollar tree. The glass bead even with #3 grade can still filter through kneehigh. Who after I make knot I double over as with cuddling etc can have them leak all over inside doll. And probably why had some on table afterwards. I make 3 sacks. 1 for head.,1 for bum,and 1 for spine of baby but make it long like a hotdog and surround with polyfil. I also store polyfil in vacuum seal bags with baby powder wafers. It scents all the polyfil so baby smells great for long time
Hi Kirstie and Mary, great video- I’ve learnt so much. The tip for the pointy end of the zip tie was brilliant as I often have problems threading them through the channels. Oh my goodness, you two make me laugh so much. Hey Kirstie, I’ve got another idea for your super glue or tacky glue- if Mary has difficulties sitting still you could always put some glue on a chair and then sit her down and before you know it she won’t be able to get up😂😂😂😂😂. Joking aside it is hard when you worry about someone and I also know what it’s like sometimes when I might feel frustrated when I can’t do or help as much as I would like too. Why waste expensive angel soft in the limbs u literally cant feel the stuffing in the limbs save it for the body and use the cheap stuffing for the limbs.
