- Mark your calendars for June 20th, everyone! That's the day that the cyberpunk dystopia, Neo Tokyo, comes to Rocket League®! Originally released as part of the "Rocket Labs" experimental Playlist, Neo Tokyo is a re-imagined version of the celebrated multi-tiered stadium, "Underpass," with streamlined gameplay improvements and a beautiful, highly-detailed environment. Then, on July 18, two Neo Tokyo-inspired premium cars -- Esper and Masamune -- bring their distinctive anime style to Rocket League®'s ever-growing collection of playable vehicles!
NOTE: Both premium cars will be included as a timed exclusive in the Rocket League® Collection's Edition, on sale at retail stores worldwide on June 24 in Europe and July 5 in North America.

This game is a prime example of how to do dlc properly. This was how dlc practices were back in the 7th generation of console/PC gaming.
It always makes me feel good to support companies like this that don't seem like they are trying to rip me off around every corner like EA, Activision, etc.

Ark survival evolved is better all there DLC is a free and they have an update every two weeks with new weapons building materials sounds fixes new mechanics and two new Dino's every two WEEKS!! That's dedication rocket league sucks
+Paul Allen ark survival is even a better company with DLC and updates every two weeks free and ark is more popular and has more money then rocket league sales and Mario kart 8 sales combined!!!

Nope ark survival evolved is better it has an update every two weeks all there DLC is free and the updates come with two new Dino's new weapons armor materials mechanics sounds fixes every two WEEKS!! That's dedication rocket league sucks

Please don't stop guys. This is amazing, just add cross platform play for PS4, Xbox One and PC and this series will never die.

The trailer is great, I don't know who makes RL trailers but the guy is really talented.
They should put a *1* *V* *1* *V* *1* *V* *1* mode in with 4 different colours called Face off or Free for all, it'll be cool - perhaps with some elimination type of setting.
That would be a fun chaotic mode, especially with 4 friends in private matches colluding or scheming behind others back.

+kawesor what unfair advantages would that be? i got all the dlc and i still use octane.. one of the best cars imo. You do know this is a skillbased game right, The cars are a bit different among eachother but to say that the DLC gives people unfair advantages is just nonsense
Robin nolastname Though the difference between the cars is slim, they do handle differently each. For example, the turn radius is smaller on some cars. It's obviously not a huge advantage, but I'd still prefer if maybe instead they'd sell special paintjobs or something for existing cars and just release the DLC stuff free of charge for everyone.
Can yall release a Free-For-All mode? Four cars, Four Goals, 1 ball? That would be chaotic.

I LOVE what you guys have done with the game. Yet I feel a big place in me that's empty. I know that can be filled with game modes like 'Capture The Flag' or even 'Demolition Derby'... Don't slap guns on the cars, just use the cars itself as weapons :) _Thank you for this tho, don't get me wrong!!

They should definitely do that, but release a different game for it. This is cars + sports. If they released a new Battle Cars after Rocket League's success, it'd go down very well.

Nah, it's clearly different, I can see just in the video that a lot of things are tweaked. It's not just the same map with a different skin.

What will be the difference between Takumi and Masamune? They seem to have really similar hitboxes, and look almost the same.

but batmobile is good too if u can handle him, just look at kuxir97, he usebatmobile in tournament

I think they're talking about that elevated part on the side of the ring. At 1:26 you can see that side of the ring is higher than than middle area. i think thats what they mean though lol

Yes this map/arena was in the Rocket Labs part. I think there are like 3-4 different ones and I remember playing this one and not liking it because of the raised area on the sides. I do like the outer track like part but still prefer the original style. Maybe make one bigger or higher.

Cuz I hate this map, It's too big and the field is not flat :( It brings me bad luck whenever i'm playing in this shitty map and i'm not the only one who thinks like that
The side curves between ground and wall are somewhat different, as well as the stage height and the obvious outwards arc the stage has which is disliked by a lot of people. A lot of shots who usually work in other maps don't in this one, and the other way around.
