Installing long tube headers on Chevrolet LS engine. Cat back delete and wrapping them in heat glass fiber wrap to increase exhaust flow and horsepower to motor
I wouldn’t. I have shorties on my truck and the biggest issue is the collector on the passenger side doesn’t want to stay tight. Every year I have to retighten the collector bolts , and brah it irritated me to the point that I’m switching to long tubes so I don’t have to deal with that anymore. I have afe power shorties with the oversized high flow y pipe makes decent enough high rpm power that it was fun after a tune but retighten bolts every year and this year was 3 times on the collector itself I had enough.

Chamfered side of the ARP washer goes towards the bolt head- says so in all their instructions.

What did you do about the Check engine light on for the post cat o2 sensors??
You can add an O2 sensor bypass or spacer.

Mines a 3.5L so no... lol. if it was a 5.0 I would do the whole exhaust system.
