good job!! Wish you had made this video about 3 months ago before i tried installing mine in an 05 avalanche z71. But for whatever reason one of the driver side primary tubes hit the driveshaft yoke bad enough that they would not fit, even after some massageing. Took them off and put on Texas speed and performance longtubes and they fit much better.
    Great video again!!!!

You bet brother! My project is a bit more involved so I reached out to Speed Engineering and they are awesome. I want to put true duals in my Suburban. Below is their message to me for your, and your subscribers, info. Cheers! Thank you for your interest. The headers and true dual exhaust systems can be found below. The longtube headers are offered in either a 1 3/4'' or 1 7/8'' primary tube diameter. Both are currently on backorder. Our true dual exhaust systems will be designed for the pickups. They can be used on the SUVs with some modification. The hanger locations will be different between the two, it will require modifying the hangers on our exhaust for use. You would be looking at needing the Extra/Crew cab version of the exhaust for the added length. The '99-'06 trucks have a rear crossmember for a driveline support bearing, so the connection pipes have a hump in them. If your vehicle lacks this crossmember, it is possible to use the '07-'13 version as it will have straight connection pipes.

Only issue I have had is finder headers that will fit. Headers from jegs hit the front drive shaft. Jegs has pair for 300.00 hooker header 2462 says will fit and are long tube but it's pretty aggravating. I never put headers on a 4wd. I put headers on 2wd easily but not front driveshaft or axle was in the way

Let me save all you guys some gray hairs and aggravation and less time laying on your backs under the truck trying to line up that gasket which is a one gigantic real pain in the ass. Some companies that produce and make headers have grooved hole gaskets and matching headers so you can just hang your gasket on the friggin bolts and then hang the header as well. However these Chicom made headers do not have that feature and it's a pain in the ass in the tight space trying to get the header in place anyway so using that instant super glue they got out there helped me do this shit fast. I spent half an hour trying to get the gasket behind the header with my old lady laying under the truck and then it started to snow. I said bullshit on this pulled everything back inside set the headers next to the wood stove and glued them gaskets to the friggin header itself. Ordinarily I would use High Tack in the past but the shit bags changed it takes 4 ever to cure and holds on half assed especially large heavy gaskets. So super glue it was and super time saving feat of skill. Don't coat the goddamned thing with the glue just 2-3 spots and use clamps let it dry over night like I did when I got inside I was so hungry and frustrated I bit our cat in the ass. It worked for me haven't bit my cat back either in quite some time.

Nope, your truck should have dual exhaust(no y pipe) up until the muffler being a 2500 HD 6.0, having the same issues with my own 03, looking like shorty's are the only way to go without welding up some flanges/ modifying the factory exhaust to bolt up to the long tubes, but the catalytic is quite a bit further back(get under her and you'll see) on the 2500HDs and will not require a tune afterwards, shouldnt get any MIL, could be worth it, but, it will make it a big pain in the ass to replace the starter when that time comes vs shorty's or stock manifolds, no clearance worries/issues anyways going with the short tubes vs long tubes. Really doesnt make much of a difference if any in the seat of the pants feeling on a mostly stock motor anyways, I'm only going with stainless headers because of issues with the stock bolts breaking due to expansion rates of the cast manifolds vs aluminum heads

I have a Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow (not too loud, not too quiet). But, and this is a big BUT - I live in a non emissions state so the fact that i did a cat delete is not an issue unless i get pulled by a cop in a really foul mood. In most states, this build (unless you have the cats somehow integrated) won't pass emissionsl. Having said that, my Tahoe has a Y pipe, I think your Silverado can be done as a true dual exhaust and you {might} have more length to add the cats back in. Perhaps another Silverado guy will chime in.......
