Check out Rory’s video of testing the wrecker here. czcams.com/video/wzxARull-qA/video.html
I wanto to keep calling it the Heavy Metal Offroad Wrecker.
Watched it it’s a beast. The big wrecker gonna have its hands full with Rory’s trail mater
@@CanadaBud23
Too close to Heavy D.
Not a good image to have. 😏
Yours came out way too late! I already lit a candle for the blown transfer case and cant wait for the 40 spliner. Cheers! You guys make magic!
just a thought, maybe mount the rear steer to the steering wheel...somehow...
The fact that Matt let his friends publish the first videos of this thing off-road, so they could share in the views...that's incredible. You're an honorable man, Matt.
He knows we will watch his videos anyway :)
Or is Paul a cheater? .....🤔🤣🤣
But how will that assist ?
He couldn’t really stop them, could he?
Just goes to show where his priorities are, and what kind of man he is, for sure!
Tom and Lizzy both have such a good positive attitudes
👍
Good
👍
Tom
Nice
WOW the wrecker did Incredible, so good to see Lizzy driving in up the rock wall after all the welding she did on it. You need a front-facing camera to see where it is going up those steep inclines
I love how you let your CZcams buddies take the views for the sneak previews. That was amazingly kind of you. Well done. You waited till they all got their bit of the wrecker premier pie before you released yours. Good show!
That's really something that he did that.
I agree, pretty awesome but had me stressing out!
I noticed that as well. I love how Matt is always giving back to those around him and helping promote the other channels. Reminds me a bit of how Cleetus McFarland runs his channel and group of video partners
Smart move, grows the friends network plus gets people hyped to see his video.
took the words out of my mouth!
Rory is a solid dude. Coming in to help is killer. Friends like that are rare.
ok
Shout out to the Editor of the Videos! The little touches you add to the editing are not going unnoticed. Keep up the great work!
I think that's Tucker. I miss him in the rescues, but he's a brilliant editor
Everyone involved in this build should be proud to have been a part of it. The wrecker is amazing, and on the third first trial even the dogs seemed excited about what it can do, and I know it will only get better over time. Well done to all involved!
Rory is "no frills amazing" in his capability, knowledge, and "can do" attitude. I'm so glad Matt can call on Rory.
Tom an Lizzy both have such a good positive attitudes. Rory is a rare friend. Good job all.
@@iridium8341still beating that dead horse I see.
Jamie is such a trooper! She's probably my favorite part of the channel. The glue that keeps it all together.
...and, he not only let TomTom drive it, he also let the amazing Lizzie drive it up the rocks. There is so much of her blood, sweat and no doubt tears in this beast that it was only right and proper that she got to tame it. Her driving is probably as good as her welding and that is top notch. What a great ambassador for the MORR brand she is. Brian
Lizzy, just FYI
All is Rocking, looking to see the wrecker in snow & mud next!
Peanut having fun, total trust in each journey, priceless!
@@carlstrohm3785 Yup! That's auto-spell for you. It knows better than me. Not!
@@rupertphmode1753 Well I was positive after watching her weld her name on the birdhouse and say it out loud. Before that I would have guessed wrong most likely.
Yup, I spotted that too. She even said 'That's Lizzy with a Y.'
If I tried to write my name with a welder we'd have to call the fire department.
im glad rudy branched out to his own channel, but I miss seeing him with matt and the crew. Such a great dynamic when they were all on camera together.
What's Rudy's Channel called? I should check it out
Its better with Tom Tom anyway.
@@dustinmoreland7742 rudys adventure and design.
@@dustinmoreland7742 Rudys Adventure and Design.
Yes me too rudys vibe is cool with his fam
What I admire is Matt letting team members take turns driving. That is super.
This channel is so positive and kid-friendly because when theres a problem, everyone pitches in to help. This is not how the real world works most of the time, and thats why this channel is worth so much.
This rig is awesome. Looks like something out of a Mad Max movie.
I’ve always been impressed with Matt’s ability to allow others in the driver seat of all the vehicles. I need that…
Just dont give so many fucks about cars, if something would happen it's fixable usually 🤝 I dont care if my friends drive the Projects, im pushing them the hardest anyway 😂
You kind of have to if you’re the owner of a company. Never seen one person operating all of them at once.
Not to mention they all put more hours than we can count into building it.
Tom-Tom appears to be a great help both in and out of the garage, and he is personable in the extreme. Tom's a great asset to the team.
It was interesting to see Tom-Tom build temporary solutions for the rear brake control and shifters. I think Matt is rubbing off on him.
Yes. I miss Trevor though
I like that Tom Tom will not tolerate jury rigs when it is so easy to do it right. He knows his tools too.
@@Mannievh I miss him too! Hope he comes back, seems to be good terms because he was on background on quite recent video...
@@seanworkman431 “jury rig”. Thank you, that satisfies my penchant for insignificant details.
The word you were looking for to describe the "beast" is capable".
What an awesome piece of machinery! Nice that you let Lizzy have some seat time!
Be more capable if he didn’t tickle the gas pedal
The amount of faith, love, and respect you have for your crew. Especially Lizzy! Is so telling of the kind of man you are.
I love how Matt lets everyone who helps on the build get a chance to drive it. Lizzie is really a gamer when it comes to all that she has learned in welding and general fabrication and her wheeling skills are constantly getting stretched.
Great crew and thanks for taking us along.
Actually, welding by Lizzy is one of the few on YT with real welding. Most others are frying things together (and even the average viewer knows that these will not break, but Fall part at some time)
You have a great group of friends Matt . Sorry for the bugs in the wrecker but you guys have the patience and determination to see it through. It’s wonderful to see the progression of the project and you are at the really fun part ,breaking stuff.
The bugs in the wrecker are nothing matt didn't think were gonna happen. When you do a custom build like this you expect bugs lol.
I love the wrecker build. I love the T and E of the wrecker with all three of you ,Matt, Lizzy and Tom, driving it. But my favorite part of this video is Jamie and Matt on a recovery together.Your chemistry is so enjoyable to watch.
Its crazy to FINALLY see the wrecker in action. It looks good. Can only imagine how Matt is feeling, must be stoked.
Everybody needs a friend like Rory Irish; what an adornment he is to the true human spirit, God bless you, Sir. And what a wonderful full-time addition Tom-Tom is to the shop, and the family, a genuine asset.
Man I bet that beast is sweet
"I didn't say it was gonna fit, I said it was gonna work!" What a champion!
I think it's great that Matt didn't blink an eye to let Lizzy go to a volleyball game, and that she didn't need to hesitate to say it. She does seem to be a bit vertically challenged for that sport, though! 😁 Also, it was good to see you put your challenges on film for us to see, as well.
Lizzie is such an asset to Matt and seeing her sister was fun! Cars runs in their blood
She is an awesome young woman.
So excited to see this monster literally rise into action. Been anticipating this since its inception.
Admittedly I’m new to the channel and the off-road recovery scene .
Here in Toronto,Canada haven’t personally experienced that lifestyle, notwithstanding, seems very appealing to me . Wish I could be there for the Wrecker Games & meet all you fine people in person.
Wishing you all the best .
Keep up the good work! 👍
Waited so long for this video...
After all the build up and all the heart ace, it was 100x better than I expected...
So fun to see Matt's pleasure in his creation coming to life. I'm so bummed I won't be able to see the Wrecker Games in person. Much Love guys, thank you for sharing your great story!
I love the locker compressor. When he pulled up both airlines with masking tape for labels, I lost it. You guys are awesome. The entire team is humble, and no doubt because their leader is.
Minimum viable product!
(acknowledging technical debt)
Literally just finished watching Trail Maters video, thinking “I hope we get another one from Matt soon.” Thank you sir! I’m addicted to watching your progress.
I've never seen Matt that happy on camera before, that's amazing
Matt is so pleased. He is beaming. Congratulations all! You have worked so hard to get to this day.
Rory is one of my favorite dudes! This world would be so much better off with more guys like him. Matt that wrecker had me giddy watching it, I can't imagine how excited you must feel. Great video!
@Shane Brown 100% agreed
Matt's so genuinely selfless.
He's completed one of his most impressive achievements, and he lets all his friends show it off first. What a pillar.
I mean it all benefits him building the hype up for views
Everyone wins
Let's face it though and to be real, Matt couldnt have finished in time without everybody's efforts....especially Rory going out of his way to help with a job and bring s transfer case....lol...AND help put it in.
His friends help him make it possible. No one is an island, Matt is smart enough to realize that.
Tom & Rory seem to be amazing friends to put the time and effort in to solve issues that many might walk away from.
Congrats to you Matt and your team. Been watching this thing come together since the start and you all should be really proud! That thing is amazing and such an accomplishment. Great job!!!
A huge part of me wants to move to Utah because there is truly such good genuine people there! For Rory to go to Colorado and pick up a t case for his friend is killer.
I am impressed beyond words. I followed this build pretty much all the way through, as I have done this type of work at different times in my life and love it. For Matt to have dreamed this up, pretty much from scratch and followed through to completion, and to have so few issues at the end??????
Wow!!! I'm so proud of all of the people who put themselves into this project, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!
One of my favorite episodes; it was fun to watch the excitement in both Peanut (snow) and Lizzy (mastering a 4 diamond obstacle climb). Great to see the testing of the wrecker went well - very impressive!

Lizzy is like the Sabine Schmidt of Sand Hollow.
This was such a great video!!! Matt, I enjoyed seeing you so happy with how the Heavy Wrecker went up those rocks!! All that hard work from EVERYONE involved really paid off!! I can’t wait to see the Games now!! I will be rooting you on every step of the way. Also, it was so nice to see Matt let everyone in the driver seat to experience the same joy he was feeling!! Great job!!
So proud of everyone on this channel. I've been watching this build from the start and it's so awesome to see it running and driving!
Also, Matt is so awesome the way he treats his crew/family. Letting them all drive the wrecker just shows how much of a cool, selfless person he is. 👍
The wrecker is a behemoth . One fine example of engineering and skill, Kudos to Matt, Lizzy and Tom. Notable mention is Rory and Chad. When the employees windshield was damaged I thought for sure Jamie was going to say “ this is normal for us” or “ this is why we can’t have nice things” I love this channel 👍🏻
I smiled just as big as you guys seeing you engage the lockers and crawl right up that first obstacle! Awesome!
This channel feels as positive as a kids show. When there's a problem, everyone pitches in and is proud to help. That's not how the real world works most of the time, and that's why this channel is worth so much.
Funny enough it is a great kids show. My son is two and has been watching it since he was born. It's the only television he watches aside from the odd sporting event. He adores Matt and is a big fan of the wrecker.
Been watching the wrecker build from day 1. Gotta say it’s so nice to see it outside and climbing rocks. It did awesome! Made the horseshoe falls look easy and its anything but. Great job everyone, can’t wait to see MORR wrecker content 👍🏻
Love to see its first vehicle rescue.
Very happy for you guys. And Rory truly is a class act who knows the true definition of friendship: a friend in need is a friend indeed! Kudos to Rory.
When I first saw the time length I though great, a long video. It was worth every second. I loved it. The video we been waiting for!!! My heart sunk when it was slipping out go gear. But I knew it could be fixed. What a awesome truck!. Can't wait to see it working day in and day out. Love you all.
I love how Matt teaches so many others how to drive all his rigs . Many people would never let someone else dive their rigs

Wow that’s incredible guys you made this wrecker from scratch, you should all be very proud . Thanks for the great journey.
Congratulations! You've created a truly unique and amazing vehicle... It was so gratifying to have watched the build all this time, and then see it in action... and, for it to do so well! Thanks for taking us along!
Look at the smile on Matt's face when his Monster Tow Truck went through the obstacles like a hot knife in a chunk of butter...Good for you Matt and Kudos to all the crew members who relentlessly worked on the project...All the efforts put in that finally paid off...Cheers!
I was sitting at my computer desk cheering away as you crawled up Sliplock!!!! You guys rock!! Watching Tom Tom and LIzzie driving the wrecker is just something special! Mat - you are the man!!!
In a completely platonic and non creep status way, I love you guys. Cheers to you Matt, Jamie, and the entire crew. You're good people with hearts of Golden Nuggets. - Collin, PA
So awesome to see that rig moving
Congrats Matt an crew 💪
Building some thing from scratch is always a challenge and always comes with bugs that need worked out
Can’t wait to see the content that thing is going to make 🤘
Congratulations to your teammates and your family for pulling this wrecker build. It takes a lot of time and skills. From Lizzy taking on a new skill of welding and fabrication. To Tom who helps with the team. A whole lot of people and family made it.
You guys made a truck from scratch. I mean...how cool is that!! Congrats! I can't wait to see it at work.
Following this project from chalk marks on the floor has been quite the adventure.
LOL it wasn't from scratch... he had a cab. After that it was all easy sailing. Well after a few tons of welding. 👍👍👍👍 Dave
They are horrible at seeing something before it's done
Wasn't scratch, it was modified
@@GoldVP... If by “modified” you mean “replaced every single part except for these half dozen sheets of stamped metal,” sure, its just a modified International dump truck. Or it’s two MRAPs, modified. Or it’s a Suburban, modified. I suppose it depends on where the soul of a vehicle resides.
 Not my department. I look forward to reading other opinions on this though.
Everyone who participated in this build from beginning to end, a very well done job my hats off to all of you. I'm very proud 👏 congratulations MORR.
Congratulations Matt and team. You guys are epic and so is the wrecker!!
Been following your trophy since it started and as like probably all your subscribers we’re so proud of what you guys have accomplished.
GO KOH!!
How cool, congrats Matt and team you all have been working super hard on this and it shows.
The team effort that has been put into the entire build is the reason why this truck has turned out so well, truly an impressive feat.
When Rory is holding the part up at shoulder height for Matt to apply goop to… had me rolling, such a great statement of how good natured the work environment is there at the shop.
Morrwrecker certainly lives up to your vision, what a monster, it's fantastic and I can't wait to see customers faces when you roll up on a recovery job.
Lizzy is fearless, HUGH respect.....
Congratulations! Great job and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Congratulations Matt and all the crew on an absolutely outstanding build. It’s been a truly anxious wait for the heavy wrecker to be up and running. Give all yourselves a big pat on the back. Good luck from Russ in England 🏴
Over, and over you prove why you are such an important person to your community.
You are so selfless and just an all around badass.
You guys have a great crew.. .love the realness...wish you so much success and may god bless all your endeavors
Another Level of maturity letting his buddy’s post the first vids of the rig movin on rocks b4 himself glad he knows we like watching it from all perspectives and watching it here is like hearin it from the horses mouth awesome work to everyone involved
I've gotta say, I started cringing a bit when you started doing gravel burnouts in a small lot full of vehicles but I'm glad you immediately owned up to any damage done lol. Awesome build.
Gotta say I lost some respect for Matt when he did that knowing he was spraying other people's vehicles. Sure he agreed to replace that windshield but I bet he's not paying for new paint jobs.
The Heavy wrecker does an awesome job. That wrecker is a huge asset to your business just like your employees.Your crew are truly professionals from editing to manegeing the business. And Lizzy Is learning some important life skills. She is and awesome welder (comming from an old welder) and she did an AWESOME job driving the Morvair and Heavy Wrecker up the slippy rocks.
Can’t believe it the miracle I watched EVERY SINGLE VIDEO on the channel since i subscribed before the heavy wrecker and seeing the whole process has been a insane. I can’t wait to see it used, even for the usual fun during the summer.
So glad this channel grew the way it did. Y’all are great.
Matt is such a good human being. Deserves all the success he’s had so far and then some
It's been lovely to see it move under it's own power & Matt spinning it like a teenager.
Considering the complexity of the drive & steering, it looks smooth & powerful. I was expecting some technical because it's all totally new & even experimental.
I'm sure there will be loads of fun this year, after the bugs get washed out. It looks grey guys.
Oh wow, the wrecker is awesome. It was so much fun watching you test it. Thanks for sharing that!
I'm so excited for all of you guys, especially for Matt. Glad to see ( The Beast) of a wrecker climb so well. Fabulous job all of you guys have done 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I’ve watched your channel since 57k subscribers. I must say this gets me excited to see the progress not only Matt; but everyone has made! Good job everyone 🎉
It is heartening you include Lizzy in all things mechanical. She, with your encouragement and instruction, continues to shatter preconceived barriers for young females. Lizzy is something of a pioneer and certainly garners well earned admiration from a lot of your viewers.
Well done, young lady.
Steve, ever notice that Rodeo Championship Buckle she wears ? She's heavily into horses too.
Yes, Keith, I have. I’m in Idaho and rodeo and horses are a big deal with women here! I think Lizzy is making big inroads into offroad motor sports, among others including a blue Jeep, and machine shop workings. She has a lot going on in her life!
I think you and I completely agree there’s a lot of hard working talent here.
Master of design, construction, and operation. Nice going!
Yes!!! That was such a cool moment to see the lockers engaged and to see you walk up that!
Let me first just say "IT's ALIVE"" and follow that up with "about time", watched everyone else post about this beast. So a big Hurray that the beast is alive and great to see a video showing a continuous feed of the Beast. Awesome job to all involved. Tom Tom the most over engineered cup holder ever!!
That wrecker is simply amazing. Great job by the entire MORR team!
This is WHY you do the "shakedown" testing first. Even though the first initial drive on those obstacles may have been disappointing, at least it tells you everything that needs to be improved or fixed, eliminating all of the "weak links" in the system before it's actually put into real-world heavy duty use.
This wrecker is going to be amazing to see in action, not only at the wrecker games in March, but also in your everyday use on your channel into the future!...
I REALLY wish that I could go to see that event live for myself, but I can't. Unfortunately I can't afford the trip, nor do I even really have a vehicle capable of getting me there and back home safely. (Plus I also have to work those days that the event is going on anyway.) :(... So I guess I'll just have to enjoy watching whatever videos you guys film and upload to YT of the event. I can hardly wait to see those!
Now you guys need to come up with a really good name for that beast!
(I vote for what another CZcams commenter had called it in your last video of it, and that name is...)
THORR (i.e. the Acronym for "The Heavy Off Road 'Recker)(Even though it's an "improper" use of the word "Wrecker", but that name just "fits" this beast, since it's so strong, big, and powerful, plus that name kinda goes along with your company name and especially along with the MORRVAIR!)
It feels like something out of a "Mad Max" movie or even like a "zombie apocalypse" rescue vehicle, lol! It's awesome that you guys got this thing "done" and working properly just in time for the upcoming wrecker games! Have fun!
I've loved watching your channel develop. Thank you for the awesome content. Your builds are amazing.
I definitely agree with Lizzy seeing the wrecker climb horseshoe falls was definitely an epic milestone without a doubt.
In my opinion the best part for me was seeing Lizzy climb horseshoe falls in the MOORVAIR then drive the wrecker.
I know the wrecker games will be a lot of fun to watch
This episode was great; had a little bit of everything, wrenching, shenanigans, partial failure, fix, massive success, rescue, and finally a fun date day drive in the Country with Matt and Jaymie!! Great job on the Heavy Wrecker!! Watched the whole build and it is AWESOME!
That is totally awesome! The wrecker makes is look so easy. When you get the bead locks on and the air right, it seems like it will tow a jeep with no problem! Crazy good!
Truly epic to see the machine alive...group effort by all...well done.
Glad to see all the dogs out on this expedition! The heavy wrecker is excellent, a long journey. You have just quintupled your rescue capabilities.
I am in awe. Matt and his amazing crew and great buddies built a literal MONSTER WRECKER from scratch. Big UPS !!!
Amazing how this all started with some steel plates to make the frame! What a crew it takes to get to a functioning wrecker in a year! 👍👍👍
I love how you let your CZcams buddies post their videos first so they can get the exposure before you post. So wholesome.
Congrats to the whole MORR team on the hard work. It makes me smile to see you all so happy at the success of the THORR build. Nice work!!
Great job on the ground and drone photography...well done.
Matt is a very lucky guy to have such great friends. Keep up your positive attitude.
What a beautiful story !! I was puzzled, but you were insightful !! Watching you on your Wrecker climbing the rocks !! WOW !!! Bravo ! Good job ! And a special dedication to Rory who helped you and you gave him the opportunity to show us yours firsts turns on his CZcams Channel !! Big big respect !! Long Life to the Wrecker !!!
Epic!!! Epic!!! Epic!!! I have been watching this build for months! Congratulations on your new Wrecker! It was awesome to see it preform.....
Man, that rear-steer is a game changer
Dude that heavy wrecker is awesome. Great job to you and your team for bringing the vision into reality
Not a bad 1st 2nd & 3rd shakedown for a truck with so many features, everyone involved in this build should be proud the Heavy wreaker just keeps evolving, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
This is a master piece video... The content, the storytelling, the editing... Thank you so much!
