- Hi everyone, today I show pick up’s subscriber mail and some movie locations from the 1962 film Jigsaw, I hope you enjoy the video. (Amy apologies from the sound issue at the start of the video.

Hi Everyone, I can only apologise for the sound issues towards the end of this video, the edited file is fine but once uploaded (which I have tried three times) the file becomes corrupt. It’s as annoying to me as it is to you.

Hi Lisa, I tried three different times to upload and avoid the sound issues but each time it happened, I think it was because I used so many clips and sound bites (over 120) yeah Jamie is a good egg for sure but don’t tell him I said that 😆 Ernie is a little darling, he’s staying with me and Mel this weekend, he loves to put his suit on, he’s a little poser 😃 the wedding is in August (just after the CZcamsrs meet up) I’m getting fitted for my suit Monday (which is why I won’t be putting up a video) take care Lisa👍😃👍

The Beekeeper is one of Statham's better films, really enjoyed it and i wouldn't be surprised if they did a sequel for it.

And thanks for the little part showing filming locations. I would love to do something like that for places near me that have been used in film. Georgia has been a big place for filming movies ever since tax advantages were given in the early 2000s. A lot of Marvel movies have used Atlanta/Marietta locations.
Hi Erik, I’m off next Monday for a wedding suit fitting, the wedding is in August and I will take plenty of photos of Ernie and pop a few on here 👍 yes Eddie Marsan is one of those unassuming but brilliant actors, have you seen The Thief, His Wife And The Canoe, it’s a mini-series based on actual events with Eddie in the lead role, it’s an excellent watch. They didn’t wait long to release Lower Decks Season 4 ! And there’s me importing it 🤦♂️.
I enjoyed the Beekeeper on a first watch. But then on a second it crumbled apart. And hated it. 🤷♂️

It really surprised me how quickly they put season 4 out, I was expecting to wait at least a year 😬 to be honest, I was close to importing it myself 🧐 I’ve actually watched The Beekeeper 4 times now as the wife kept falling asleep each time I put it on but if a film starts….I need to finish it 😆 take care mate👍😃👍
Nice one Alan. I bought the Network edition of Quatermass a couple of years ago for less than half the price of this new release. I remember watching this in 1979 just after the ITV strike, I enjoyed it then but it didn't look great. It was one of those telecine conversions. The new HD blu ray edition has been restored directly from the negative and looks MUCH better. Definitely worth a look if you haven't seen it.
Hi Gary, I’ve never seen Quatermass, it was one of those shows that everyone was talking about at the time but back then, if you didn’t see it, there was no way of catching up….the story sounds solid so it will probably be a future pick up for me, cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

Thanks Phill, the issues with the sound on the video probably came about because of the 120 separate video and sound clips I used, I think it was too much for the editing program 😬 but thanks mate, it’s very much appreciated, take care 👍😃👍

Hi Stephen, the wedding is in August, next Monday is just a wedding suit fitting for me but thanks mate, I appreciate it 👍 filming the Jigsaw locations was a lot of fun, it’s a shame the audio side of the video had issues once uploaded, I tried three times but each had the same problem but at least you could still see the actual locations, which for the most part remained unchanged. *Night of the Eagle* sounds good; *Heimat* sounds long... I'll probably not pick it up as I never have previous releases; I just don't think I'd ever watch it.
*Stopmotion* isn't really my thing but it's good to see some more sensible prices on brand new Blu-rays.
Listening to the desription of *The Holy Virgin Versus the Evil Dead* I was just thinking _"That sounds like a film for me"_ and then you said it" 🤣🤣🤣 - (it's arriving tomorrow with *Jigsaw* so plenty to enjoy in very different genres!).
I really enjoyed the _Now and Then_ match; shame about the sound but that's life sometimes...
Hi Justin, she’s getting married at the end of August, I just thought I would show Ernie’s little suit, (he’s so adorable) I can’t make a video Monday for other reasons 😬 but thank you for the congratulations 👌 Night Of The Eagle is a good movie, it’s one I reviewed for Imprint a few months ago 👍 yeah I couldn’t help but mention you with The Holy Virgin Versus The Evil Devil 🤣 I knew you wouldn’t mind… hope you enjoy Jigsaw, I think the sound issue with the video was that fact it had around 120 clips and voiceover clips… and it was just too much for one file 😬 lesson learnt. It’s true Mike, there’s a Universal Studio’s film crew in Brighton filming on the seafront today 😮 not sure what they are filming as I was driving past at the time 🧐

I enjoy seeing location comparisons, always fascinating to see where films and TV shows were shot, especially when the locations haven't changed too much. Couple of audio overlap and sync issues on those video sections but still an interesting watch!

Highlight of the video is your pug 😀 he looks one cool dude. You certainly jogged my memory with the yellow ribbon, I remember the song . Yes I’m an old git born in the 60’s. Is the Quatermass a re release as I already own it on blu ray by the network company, sadly no longer with us. Shame really as they released some cracking retro tv.

@@roybarratt5609 ahh you are right in the middle of the country then Roy, must be a hike to the coast, I’ve never been to Rugby but I’ve visited Birmingham and Coventry and Cambridge, so if I’m ever heading that way then I will be sure to stop in the lovely looking market town of Rugby (I just looked it up online and it is beautiful) 👍
@kermitsghost it is indeed a trek to the coast but the beauty of being in the middle whichever direction you take it's manageable. Next weekend we're off to Morecambe. You get on the M6 at Rugby and get off at Lancaster which pretty much merges into Morecambe. 3 hour hopefully straight blast. I think you'd like it here. Certainly a lot for a history buff like yourself.

Watched beekeeper on sky pretty much when it first came out, it’s a really good film, I thought it was good anyway.
Jeremy Irons makes me laugh, mainly for the fact that he’s literally shitting himself throughout the whole entire maybe for very obvious reasons, something about your sons and idiot because he pissed off a beekeeper 🤣
I just watched the third episode of house of the Dragon this morning and I’ve got my Andor S1 steelbook coming in at some point today.
I may finally also pick up the mask of the phantasm steelbook the complete series of Game of Thrones Blu-ray edition with the egg and the exclusive Italian version but with the iron throne.

I’m glad you enjoyed the beekeeper, you really can’t go wrong with Jason Statham. I mean my first exposure was probably the first transporter movie when I was 16/17.
The only time I thought he was mediocre was in the Italian job LA Heist from 2003.
I enjoyed the bank job for what it was, haven’t seen it in a minute though but I went to see it in cinemas back in the day.
My favourite Jason Statham movie is probably safe, I really enjoyed that movie for what it is, but then I also enjoyed the first Meg movies so there’s that 🤣😜
I’m probably going to be watching the new Beverly Hills Cop movie later on on Netflix, I’m just hoping it’s better than three because nothing can touch the original, me and a friend of mine have an argument over one and two all the time. 🤣 luckily we’re at 17 years of friendship at this point and from a borderline standpoint that feels like an eternity no complaints my end though. 😜

Alan, how much humidity do you get in Brighton? Here in Illinois we get a lot. It might be one temperature, but the humidity jacks it up to make it feel hotter and you sweat like a whore on Saturday night lol 😂
On a hot day it can be around 80% I don’t mind the heat, I have hypothyroidism and find it difficult to stay warm, so the hotter the better for me 😆 when in Florida I wore a leather jacket when it was about 90 outside, I have since been prescribed medicine to help with the issue, take care Mike👍😃👍
