WE love stick, manual transmissions over here. The U.S. WE still offer them in our Corvette, and our Muscle cars. Even the Cadillac CTS-V. The new ATS, will have one, along with the magnetic ride suspension.

Your views appear unbiased and realistic and I have watched several of your BMW reviews now. Based on your review I went for a test drive and ended up buying a 520d M Sport Auto a few months old. What a great 'drivers' car and a step up from my 5 year old 320i. It is a real joy to drive and the twin turbo engine is remarkably lively, my first diesel and an eye opener.
That's what independence get you, there's no ad's on the channel or web site. That means I get to say what I like but I don't make as much money as the other guys who allow advertising.
The ED version was never meant to be a sports car, that said I knocked out a good bit of fun from it over the week. There is nothing that I can think of in this segment that will give the same driving experience but I do agree, for the money there are more fun cars out there.
The pricing came from a list provided by BMW Ireland so I had to go by that list, you are right though, the 520 in the video does have Xenon lamps. Plenty more videos to come (mostly D reg cars too) Thanks very much!

I think you have a few options on that car that you didnt mention like the colour ( 900 Euro) and looked like the lights were Xenon. The satnav on this is costly- 1500 for the basic and 3000 for the big screen one... The Km/h read out is free and its free on any of the BMW dealer websites.. if you paid for it.. get your money back :)
Love your reviews....bought a VW Passat CC off the back of your review of the CC...love the car I have done over 600miles in mine on a tank of diesel... so comfy and I drive it evey day.......stop tempting to get a 5 series......

Another great review! I have a 2009 E60 2ltr d M/sport and the fuel return is great! After seeing this review it might be time to call round to Bmw for a test drive. Now how am I going to get the wife into the same frame of mind????
ED is the most fuel efficient car I've had in years, that will get tiresome though as will the manual box. I'd prefer and SE with a full auto box running the same diesel engine. It would just waft around. I prefer the older looks but the new one has a better presence on the road and those seats are soooo comfy
Hard choice.. The Audi is a great car! Great interior, and good looks (Though personally, only if it is an S-Line). The only criticism is that it isn't as fun to drive as a BMW 5, and doesn't waft as nicely as a Merc E Class. Personally.. I'd go for the BMW 5 series, and for the budget, i'd get a 530d or 535d with the M sport trim and adaptive chassis & suspension option with the larger screen.. Fantastic interior and phenomenal looks.. I'd also go for the 19 inch alloys and upgraded stereo.
Just came across your channel,nice to see a channel here in Ireland,I used to alternate between BMW and Audi but I've just started sticking to BMW cause when I have an Audi I just found I can't wait to get another BMW,I have an f10 Msport with 8 speed box and it's a masterpiece didn't think It would top my previous E60 Msport but it does,the only decent Audi's I've owned where quattro ones the rest are just a spec'ed up version of a Passat. I've always thought if I ever end up in a Passat I've bought a car that "will do" that is the day I know I'll have lost interest in cars.

The A6 is much closer to the 5 series than the A5, I'd take the 5 series over the A5 and I'd take the A6 over the 5 series but it would be only a whisker in it. This 5 series in the video is better than the entry level A6 for the same money
44000euro,yes but for me BMW have dropped the most important thing... The 6cyl engine.. I've had the 520 series before with the 2.0 petrol 6cyl but was shocked to learn that the f10 2.0d is only a 4cyl...Ill buy another BMW but not the small 2.0 engine, I want the 3.0d 6cyl.

Ryan Meek could not be more wrong. Audis interiors are superior to that of BMW. Everyone knows that. The detail and styling of an Audi interior are second to none. The 5 series is a great car., but not as sporty looking as the A6. The 2 litre unit on BMWs ED range is excellent on numbers but not refined and is quite noisy. I'd go Audi any day in this segment.
Honestly, Audis have cheap interior if i where you try get the "BMW 520d SE" Trust me you wont regret it and if you want some extras like efficient dynamics heated seats etc. its going to cost you from 34-40 and thats for alot of extras. Go to BMW.co.uk to see the extras
I have taken a 520d out for a spin last summer. If you search for sporty driving experience this BMW is not the car you want. This is a soft-cruiser and won't give you any kicks on bendy side-roads. The steering is too light and doesn't feel right. This is for old people because it is all too soft? You get way too little for your money and there are many cars that give a better driving experience than this BMW. This is my take on the car, you should make up your own mind! ;(
The timing chain snapped,all BMW from 2007 till 2011 suffering from timing chain,I bought the engine for it ,its cost me all together £2200 ,sick about BMW

We r just gonna buy 320 or 520. We cant even choice cause In Denmark the car cost 100,000$ or 70,000€ what is alot.
