    Thanks for the great video. I am currently awaiting delivery of a MY2024 XC40 Recharge Twin Ultimate in Fjord Blue with the Fjord Blue interior. This will be my first EV, as well as my first Volvo. Cant's wait!

    Great numbers! Backed up in Bjorns test of the 82km pack on the RWD Polestar that did his 1000km challenge in 9hrs40mins.

      Indeed.. Yeah saw some parts of his test, but not charging. That sounds like a good time.

    My MY24 twin motor C40 is coming at the beginning of November, so this is all good info to understand how it will deal with charging and longer motorway runs…thanks 👍🏻

    Nice peak performance! 👍🏼 But I have to say it‘s not a reason for me to get a MY24, as my MY23 C40 charges pretty decent meanwhile (after all the SW updates OTA). Driving to Austria in July I had typical charging session from 8-80% in 26mins … the car was faster than our breaks 😅

      Yeah. Maybe not enough to trade in your 23, but if you often drive longer trips the more efficient 24 are beneficial. Bigger battery, more efficient and faster charging.

    Tell me more about preconditioning the battery. Is it as simple as entering the destination in google or are the other ways.

      Haven't calculated 3%-73%, but it's not a noticeable gain. The charging time are the same, despite the battery increase 🙌

      It's actually not that different. Only thing I've noticed are a stronger urge to let it rotate 😂 Maybe I've also provoked it slightly

    In the UK, 50Kw fast chargers (not rapid) cost about 80p per kw, basically its now more expensive than an ICE car if you're using the public chargers.

      Wow expensive. Australia is not cheap for electricity however the worst i've seen from a fast charger (200kw+) is 65c per kw which would be around 33p. The 50-80kw seem to averaging 50c.

    Hello, I have 2024 XC40 recharge core extended range but I only get charging speeds at 125kwh and sometimes 150 but never that peak power. Do you think Im missing some step in between like pre-condition and if yes, how to precondition the battery?

    I would argue that you’d get better results if you actually started at 10%. My Polestar 2 (2022) has a different charging curve depending on what SOC you start at. But still impressive speeds.

    Det var veldi kostbar lading. Du må bruke plugsurfing kortet som du fikk av Volvo. Det er fastpris på kr. 4.20. Du må ikke bruke ELON ladekort. Det kan brukes på mange ladestasjoner, men koster mye mere.

    I just picked up the new MY24 AWD Recharge from the dealer and dorve it home for my parents. It will be their car.
    My impressions:
    - The suspension is way too soft and kind of nervous all the time, so the handling isn't well at all
    - The steering is also way too soft even in the "hard" mode of the software
    - Wihle driving you alswas hear the engines yelling
    - The allseason tyres from Michelin produce a lot of noice and they don't give enough traction at full throttle. The wheels are spinning, so the ASR works all the time.
    - The counsumption seems als quite high. Don't see any improovement to the older version.
    - The one pedal driving mode works very stupid. At first it doesn't do anything then after 10-20 meters it beginns to break abrupt.
