I think the name reliant robins was the most ironic thing you could of named those incredibly useless divisions lol
How would I do it differently? Probably abandon the Reliant Robins and just make infantry at this point 🤣
Glad to see that once more socialism has been achieved. I would love to see merch of this but it would sadly be looked at as some kind of political statement instead of a hilarious inside joke.

Amazon didn't believe when I told them my proposed listings for Heinz Guderian butt mousepads were for an elaborate inside joke from a youtube series based on a game where you stare at a map for some reason so I'd imagine this would be the same
Oh my god those units are so bad. It's amazing. Need daily installments of these things achieving socialism.
A couple things to do differently:
Actually use better tank chassis when they come out
Not use armored cars instead of light tanks and motorised
the light tanks were cursed, with they gave organisation
Oh my god, these tank divisions are the most CURSED thing I've ever seen in my life.

Idk what it is with alex but he seems to have good general ideas most of the time but in almost every video i watch he does something that makes me want to strangle him personally

In all honesty it is Alex, who still does not seem to understand the new supply system and the magic supply button on armies
I think a cool UK challenge, would be: play like the AI with historical off, and stay democratic with the Allie’s, but declare war on all the minor nations.

Everytime you showed the composition of that division, part of my soul died.
This lifted my mood after spending half an hour removing an oddly incredibly large flying insect from my room.
I have never had a failed run of hoi4, in fairness I never had a successful run either, never played it. I'm just here for the ramblings
I never fail at HOI4 or anything at life for that matter. My trick?? Adjusting my expectations afterwards. You call it failing I call it succeding to lose to war; it was all part of the plan.

I don't lose wars. I wage wars my country was doomed to lose because I hate my own people and needed to address overpopulation! Failure is victory, and victory is an unexpected victory!
Closest to losing is me as an ahistorical world manchuko game where papa japan warred against both China united front and soviet union. Their divisions sat in japan while I lost! But then the allies came by and liberated me??? And I got my country back. Cursed.
Nice rule of thumb always aim for at least 40 org in div 30 can work but you really want at least 40 , I recently did a Soviet run where I made light tanks with over 50 org and 800 breakthrough just by keeping a good balance of motorized to light tank.
Highly recommend you check out EaW again, it just had a massive update releasing a whole new continent! Hippogriffia or Chiroptera would make for some great content

bit of advice: make some 21 width line infantry just to sit on the line as defense. 9 inf, 1 arty. Then just push with your low org divisions.
My first game as the U.K. (One of my first games at all) I backed Turkey & ended up making the USSR a supervised state
-plays Uk for the first time
-Helps Turkey against the USSR
-Puppet the soviets
-Refuses to elaborate
-Leaves

Hey Alex, Been in hospital for almost 4 months post cervical spinal and brain stem surgeries. Just wanted to say thanks for the entertainment. I have now re-watched about 60 vids I had already watched through the years, but thanks to meds, it's almost like new. lol So thanks again brother. No biggie to you but is to me.

Make an artillery tank to support the division (to keep on theme), I think you just need more soft attack. Also out producing is the goal build a few bombers to hit those German factories (you probably won't need many to cause a problem to the ai)

I remember I went down this tree to get the achievement. You really have to keep the dominions to get it. This is probably the hardest uk route
I'ma be honest when he said he's been playing 6 years and hasn't done the communist Britain focus tree which is only about... 2-3 years old def made me shake my head lmao.

Could you make some reliant robin divisions without light tanks to have a thicker line and focus the ones with tanks on breakthrough? Failing that maybe add more motorized.

Also, in all my games since BFtB released, I have never seen the Soviets actually declare war on Turkey, this video’s the first time I’ve seen that occur
in my experience, if you go socialist and fight with Soviets, there is 51% chance they will declare war on Turkey starting three way war between axis, allies and soviets

As a 22 year old brit I've also never experienced a left UK in the last 6 years

This goes to show how much of an advantage the player has over the A.I just because we can build actually good division templates.

I wonder if light SPGs in the 'Reliant' divisions would make things better or worse. Its versus AI so it seems like extra light attack would be good at chewing up the mass infantry.

I haven't played this game in around 6 months. I got the game and played a few times but I only have a basic understanding of it. I don't really understand how combat works at all so idk how to make my divisions. Past 6 months I've been all medieval so been playing the guild 3 and ck3 but now I want to get back into it.
Gonna finish up my tg3 and ck3 playthrough I'm currently doing then do that

You can acctually go down the colony path as communist britan. The trze british union only has wales and liverpool I believe and if you turn most of your troops into a bad templete start a land lease with one of your dominions and give them your equipment. You can revoke the lend lease when the civil war starts, turn your units into good ones and conquer the union. Then you can have a imperial federation which establishes true communism.

Alex, pleaseeeee make some infantry to hold the line, and consolidate your tanks into something big that can actually push. Even keep the armored cars if you really want. Just add enough motorized to get org up and get more tanks in to actually give them some bite

I always wanted to ask, why does Alex wear his headset in a weird way? It looks like it’s offset so one of his ears is not covered but I always thought people generally put one side behind the ear rather than in front of it.
