There's a LOT of nice ones. I went to school with plenty of stuck ups, but Michael Baldwin(Phantasm) is an absolute sweetheart.
I used to tutor Daniel Levy, and when his father, Eugene, asked if I wanted anything, I jokingly replied that I would love filet mignon. I got steak every time I went there for the next year and a half. Absolutely lovely people.
Back in the early 1990s, when I lived in Humboldt County, I was with a lovely woman who owned a vintage clothing shop.
One day she totally blew me off when I called her shop around the time she was closing. She merely said, "Dustin's here, I gotta go."
It turned out that it was Dustin Hoffman and that she had kept her shop open for him so that he could shop privately.
Now, coupled with the fact that when we were at the Chris Isaak concert, my girlfriend Lora was brought up to the stage by him and he sang into her eyes for more than one song and he had even invited her to hang out after the concert, I knew I never really stood a chance to ever one up her in the meet-a-celebrity department.
Yet, about a week after "Dustin" shopped at her store, I decided to walk across the street to the coffee shop to grab a cup of Joe while I waited for her to finish up so we could do lunch.
While I was waiting for the workers to brew my house coffee during their lunch rush, I struck up a conversation with the pretty redhead who was also waiting for her drink to be made.
To this day, I don't remember what we talked about, but I do remember that I thought she was very charming and I really thought she was a neat person and wished I could get to know better. The city I was living in was small enough that I knew I'd run into her again for sure.
As soon as she left, the barista asked me if I knew her since we had carried on for about ten minutes like we were old friends. I told her that I had no clue who she was because I had just met her.
She said, "Molly Ringwald."
That brought a smile to my face because it sure explained that when I introduced myself to her before she left and when she told me her name she was smiling ear to ear.
She probably was so happy to meet me because she hadn't had to introduce herself to anyone in a very long time.
Looking back, I think that perhaps she found it very refreshing to talk to a person who didn't recognize her, but perhaps she is really that nice to everyone, even those who are starstruck.
Who knows?
All I do know is that when I returned to my girlfriend's store, I said, "Sorry it took a minute, I ran into my friend Molly and we had to catch up..."
Lora just shrugged and went to get her purse and not even thirty seconds later, her best friend Dan rushed into the store in his usual excited and flamboyant way saying, "Molly Ringwald is here! Molly Ringwald is in town!"
Sure, maybe I didn't one up my friend Lora, but meeting Molly Ringwald as a regular person sure made me feel pretty good that day.
I don't think Molly would remember meeting me that day even if you paid her, but I sure remember it like it was yesterday.

Glad to see Brendan Fraser on this list. The accounts of people who have had a great experience meeting him, because he was so nice, kind and courteous to them, and the people who worked with him saying what a pleasure it was, are too numerous to count. Overwhelming consensus is that this man definitely deserves a place here.

Next time you’ve gotta include Scottish actor David Tennant: one of the nicest people on the planet. When a friend happened to run into him at a Comic Con ( it was in the back of the auditorium which was empty and she was going through it as a short cut back to the main part) she was startled to see David Tennant also alone heading to a back room, clearly on his way to his lunch break. She was too shy to speak to him, but he stopped, gave her a sunny smile and asked if she wanted a photo. My friend said yes, but she told him she felt bad about cutting into his lunch break. Tennant ( who is super skinny) told her not to worry about it because “ I’m no stranger to eating “. Without thinking my fried replied, “ You could have fooled me.” Tennant heartily laughed, took the selfie, shook her hand and went on to his delayed lunch. What a nice guy.

Met Keanu on the subway. Honestly the most beautiful, nicest and gentlest soul I've ever met. ❤ It's not a phony nice like some celebrities, it's genuine.
How does Henry Winkler get constantly shafted on these "nice celebrity" lists?! I met him in person at a comic convention, and he was very cordial to everyone despite his plane being late. He even slipped me a free autograph picture! Once on Seth Meyer's show he won the crew's pool and told Seth to use the money to buy them pizza! I CONSTANTLY hear stories about how nice Henry is!
I knew Brendan Fraser long before he became "famous in movies" and he was so kind to me, just sweet, down to earth, a real friend. His life has changed; many ups and downs, but in interviews I have seen since, he is still the same friend and person I knew way back in 1989.

I met Harvey Korman (Carol Burnett Show) in a Texas airport in the 1980's. I was flying home in my military dress blues and I decided to grab some food during a layover. The seating area was completely packed, so I was just kinda standing there with my food. An older gentleman who was sitting with a young woman stood up and waved me to their table. As I sat down, I looked over to thank him and immediately recognized him - I grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show. He was with his daughter and they were visiting colleges in Texas for her. They were both extremely friendly and he chatted with me about his experiences in the military during WWII. It was a neat experience.
Keanu Reeves, Tom Hanks, and Emma Stone seem like chill people that I could hang out with. 🎉

From pushing past her bodyguards to greet a young fan in New York to attending someone's wedding shower and bringing gifts, there's nothing Taylor won't do for her fans. She's an icon, an inspiration, and an angel to people everywhere. Her kindness knows no bounds.

I met Richard Gere in my hometown many years ago. He was there for an award ceremony for his film and humanitarian efforts. There were many people there and I knew the chances of getting to meet him was a long shot. As he was leaving he was shaking hands with people and I just sorta snuck through the crowd and thought it was just going to be a hi how are you and goodbye, but how wrong In was. As I was about to leave I noticed he was still standing looking at me to talk, I was surprised and I continued my conversation with him. I told him thank you for coming and he put his hand on his heart saying thank you for having me. I asked him if I could give him a hug as it was for two of my friends and he said yes and I hugged him. The nicest guy I have ever me and still can't belive I had that experience with him.
Brian May of Queen? He is one of the nicest rockstars in all of entertainment, I never had any interaction with him but he did point me out when I was at the Queen + Adam Lambert concert in February 2020.
Keanu Reeves is the most wholesome celebrity ever without question. Even when it comes to extreme fandom he handles it better than anybody in Hollywood. The countless trespassing on his property, even breaking and entering. To how he has the standard of never placing his hand on a womans back when he does photos, A true gentleman for sure. However I got John Cena #2 on this list because I dont think any other celebrity has ever done more charity work than him. The countless smiles he put on kids faces, All the Make A Wish stuff. Whats so impressive about him is he always stayed the same with each and every single Wish he granted. One of the most giving celebrities ever.

I’d like to also say two. Henry Winkler and Michael Rooker. Winkler was the reason that Sly Stallone was able to be Rocky and was even instrumental in the movie being made. He’s also well known for his awesome attitude and generosity.
Michael Rooker is arguably the kindest and caring actors I’ve ever met. Hardworking and underrated but never bitter. Practically was pulling people out of the crowd to meet them at Comic Con when I met them and spent the entire time talking about how grateful he was for them.
Buscemi is probably the best guy out there, alongside Keanu. Buscemi gave up acting for a time to do what others do for living...running towards danger while everyone else is running away. Keanu is so respectful to others.
Robert Downey seems like a nice humble person too.

Nicest ones ive had rhe pleasure of meeting have been Jamison Newlander and Billy Wirth from The Lost Boys, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy from Dr Who, and John Barrowman
I’m surprised Weird Al didn’t get a nod. He-and the whole band-have been known to meet and greet the fans for hours after a show. He’s really cool, and the bassist (Steve Jay), is also great. And don’t get me started on the guitarist (Jim West)… he spent 15 or 20 minutes giving me a rig rundown when I asked about the particular guitar he used that night … I didn’t get a chance to chat with the drummer (Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz), unfortunately.
TL;DR-Weird Al and his band are the nicest celebrities I’ve ever met. (Additional mention-Ray Luzier is a wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, and humble person…and a badass drummer.)
I would like to add the late, great musician Stevie Ray Vaughan to the list. He was known to be an absolutely sweet and humble man. When he died tragically at the age of 35 in a helicopter crash, his bandmates and other musicians who knew him were beyond devastated to lose this soft spoken, warm and kind soul.
it makes me really happy when I hear such nice things like this. Especially when it’s so hard to find a lot of nice people these days because they’re so rare. I just can’t help but cry in a good way I mean. Where I live they’re just starting enough people like that. It would be really nice to meet a celebrity like that. But I know they’ll never happen. Im glad some celebrities understand their success is part talent and hard work and part fan praise. You can be the most talented actor on earth but if nobody sees your movies, youre back working at Burger King. I had a few great experiences with Jon Stewart. One was after a standup performance. A friend, whose older daughter is gay, appreciated what he had to say during his show about the LGBTQ+ community and wanted to meet him. Another friend we met up with told me she thought he would come out the back "stage" door of the theater. So we joined this little cluster of fans there, As he was about to come out, the venue's security saw us and told us to move across part of the parking lot, which we did, but then Jon came out and we started waving and calling to get his attention. He saw us and waved us back over, so security then had to help us back. He was lovely. Talked to everyone, signed autographs, took photos. I told him my friend was a triplet and that she and her twin brothers had three older siblings and he told her, "I hope your parents are getting some rest now." Very charming.
I once wrote Henry Winkler to tell him I enjoyed an Internet chat he did and got a personal note back. Also loved speaking with Carol Burnett, who is awesome. I've never met Paul McCartney, but I hear he's phenomenal as well.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! On my list, the nicest of all is John Cena. I have never seen a celebrity like him. There are quite a lot of videos of John being the nicest person available on CZcams. My respect to him.

I once met Food Network Star Jeff Mauro and he is as friendly and funny in person as he is on TV. When I told him about my instagram and CZcams channel, he said he'll take a look and he did. He's anything but big-headed, stuck-up and mean. I knew he's one of my favorite cooking stars.

I ran into Denzel Washington many years ago during the NBA All-Star Game in Philly. He is just as kind and warm as this video says.
Adam Lambert is another celeb who is INCREDIBLY kind. I got the chance to meet him at a VIP event during his GlamNation tour, and he was like a big ray of sunshine.
I'm an illustrator and had made a piece of him in an iconic feathered top hat he wore during the tour. I took two prints of it with me: one for him to sign for me, and one for him to keep. You would have thought I had given him the Mona Lisa with how he excitedly fawned over it, gushing over how gorgeous it was and exclaiming "YOU DID THIS??! 🤯" like it was the most incredible thing he'd ever seen.
He even stepped away from the meet and greet area in the middle of it all and ran over to the band's dressing room, opening the door and setting the print in a chair saying, "I don't want this to get bent, guys! Please watch it for me!" before returning to the meet and greet and giving me a HUGE bear hug. He told me that his most favorite thing in the world to receive from fans was fanart, so he absolutely loved mine.
I could tell he was sincere about it the entire time, too.
At that same show my dad had a run in with him as well while sitting in the hotel bar. He said Adam came in wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses to ask the bartender where they could park their bus, and he exchanged a few words with my dad, too. He said Adam was incredibly nice to him, too.
His fandom is full of similar stories of how lovely and down to earth he is in person.
Seeing Jim Carrey, Pedro Pascal, Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Rudd, and Mark Hamill on this list makes my heart happy.

I met John Travolta when I was working at McDonald’s and he came to drive-through in Clearwater Florida. Lived in Bellair Beach then. Around 1991.

Alan Alda (from M*A*S*H) should be on the list. After a long career in acting, he got into promoting science, and later helped out people with Parkinson's disease.
Jimmy Fallon was so nice to us when we went on his show. He also thanked the whole audience for coming out after the pandemic and expressed how much it meant to him to see people fill his audience and be there to laugh at his jokes.
While a former motorbike racer rather than a media star, Randy Mamola is a great man. He co-founded Riders For Health, got other riders on board and is always at the Day Of Champions ride-in to take part in the laps of the circuit.
Lin-Manuel Miranda should've been on this list because he's a very sweet guy. I sent him a small book of drawings I did that remind me of him and he sent a copy back autographed! He litterly so sweet and down to earth and humble and creative and funny that he's like the Broadway version of Keanu Reaves. Oh, and he is an epic husband and an epic dad who decided to protect his kids by not showing thier indtey for safety reasons. And I really want to meet him someday.
Well, I've never actually met him in person. (We've only communicated through the comments section of his videos.) Not a celebrity in the traditional sense, but I've seen few actors recently that are as big a sweetheart as Tommie Earl Jenkins, he's super talented and he sometimes takes time to chat with his fans from what I've seen, and when he did a Q&A post on his official CZcams channel a couple months ago, he worked hard to keep it hate free.

IMO self -deprecation is the telltale sign of a person's humility. When you can make fun of yourself, it means you don't put yourself on a pedestal.
