There is answer to this... It's because the rakshas tal was formed along with formation of Himalayas by the collision of indian plate with Eurasian plate. A small part of tethys sea (which is present in between indian plate and Eurasian plate) got elevated by the collision. So the lake is a brakish lake.... Whereas the Manasarovar lake was formed by the glaciers.... So this is a fresh water lake

Lake Rakshastal, along with most of the lakes along the Tibetan plateau is, indeed an endorheic lake. The important meaning of that term is that there is no outflow from that basin. Water evaporates, but as with any evaporative process, the minerals in the water stay behind and become more concentrated. Since Lake Manasrovar flows into Lake Rakshastal, the water that leaves takes the minerals in contains with it, leading to a much lesser concentration left behind as new water flows in, and, most importantly, out of that lake

India was a separate continent lakhs of years ago, and it has move to Asia and attached itself to Asia due to tectonic plate movements. It started moving from the period of Gondwana. As the result Himalaya was formed due to excessive tension, and Himalaya keeps growing every year in millimeters or centimeters. In between this attachment, some sea water would have been trapped and it has become Rakshas tall. The water was with high level of minerals and nowhere to drain. So it survived. But Manas sarovar may have been formed at a later stage consisting of rain water or snow. Both have different abiotic factors and they differ from each other.

Tethys sea and continental drift theory left the chat...😂😂
It happened during the collision of Indian and Eurasian tectonic plate and Himalayas formed. Salt lakes on the mountains are the example and proof of presence of Tethys sea.
And this collision is continuing that's why the height of the Himalayas is increasing continuously.

It is indeed an endorheic lake. The important meaning of that term is that there is no outflow from that basin. Water evaporates, but as with any evaporative process, the minerals in the water stay behind and become more concentrated. Since Lake Manasrovar flows into Lake Rakshastal, the water that leaves takes the minerals in contains with it, leading to a much lesser concentration left behind as new water flows in, and, most importantly, out of that lake.
