Mt.Kailash Yatra V-log #2: I Touched and Tasted Mount Kailash (can Mt.Kailash be climbed?)

  • The route of day 2 in a general Kailash kora is from Dirapuk Monastery to Dzultripuk Monastery. However, this time, I would like to show you a special day trek to the glacier of Mount Kailash on my second-day trek of Mount Kailash. www.tibettravel.org/
Due to the unique religious significance, Mount Kailash is unclimbable. It is a rare chance to climb up to the glacier of Mount Kailash at 5,700 meters above sea level. And this is the closest way we could see the peak of Mount Kailash.
Let’s follow our video to take the ultimate journey to the center of the world.
I started my trek at 10 a.m. from the Dirapuk Monastery Guesthouse at 5,200 meters above sea level. Finally, I arrived at the flat part of the glacier of Mount Kailash at 5,658 meters after four and a half hours of trekking.
On the way, I saw a small stream from Mt.Kailash, which is actually the source of many big and long rivers in the world, such as the Yarlung Zangbo River, the Ganges River, and the Indus River.
I saw two groups of wild Tibetan Antelopes at 5,400 meters running freely in Mount Kailash as if they were elves of the holy mountain.
Trekking above 5,400 meters above sea level became more and more difficult. Even as a Tibetan, I had to walk for two minutes and stop for a one-minute break. My heart was beating too fast and the oxygen at such altitude was too thin.
Once I reached the flat part of the glacier, the closest place one could get to the top of Mount Kailash, I couldn’t contain my excitement.
I tasted Mount Kailash. I touched Mount Kailash. I Saw Mount Kailash.
After the holy Kailash trek, I visited the Dirapuk Monastery, where you can mainly visit the original meditation cave of the great Master Milarepa. At present, there are only 6 monks taking care of this holy monastery, namely Monk Tashi and his five students.
Enjoying the northern face of the peak of Mount Kailash from Dirapuk Monastery, having some simple snacks offered by the hospitable monks…this could be a lifetime experience of your journey to Mount Kailash.
At the end of today’s sharing, I still want to remind you of a few things below:
    1. If you want to do this glacier trek, you need 4 days in total, while an ordinary Kailash kora only takes 3 days.
    2. Do not start your trek to the glacier before 10 a.m. for it’s too cold in the morning.
    3. Please walk slowly in the mountain area for it’s too high. Even Tibetans take a long breath there.
    4. Don’t forget, safety first!

HE ACTUALLY DID TOUCH Mt.KAILASH. The footage which shows him touching Mt Kailash is of the Saptarishi Caves where the rocks are of similar colors and also having all the flags. The Saptarishi Caves are a part of Mt. Kailash. He is not fooling us pls don't judge someone blindly. Reaching the end point of Inner Cora is very hard appreciate the efforts that gone into making this video.

Tat Tvam Asi That is obvious, but imagine it this way, if you were a Muslim and someone kicks the holy stone at Mecca or kicks the holy statue of Jesus or whichever religion you belong to, could you say the holiness of those monuments won’t change? It is not about his action but about the holy belief of faithful.

    • @Aravind-xm7gg
      @Aravind-xm7gg Před 3 lety +200

@@NirmohiHindu you're missing the main point my friend. Vaidhika Sanatana Dharma is not as immature as Islam or Christianity is. They worship the Kaaba without admitting it. They worship the Kaaba as a throne of Allah or something. That's why if they think you're disrespecting it, they'll even behead you.
But we don't worship any of our idols. Our idols, be it Kailash in this case, is a symbol of the God present. Kailash itself is not God. It represents God. The Krishna idol in the nearby temple itself is not Sri Krishna. The idol represents Sri Krishna's being.
In this perspective, we are not idol worshippers, they are. We may have idols, but we worship the God through the idol. They may not have idols, but they worship the structure of Kaaba itself.
Know this difference, and be very proud of your religion, the Vaidhika Sanatana Dharma 🙏🏼

Anyways, congratulations for your attempt at profiling derived from my CZcams "name" but the motivation for keeping this name has nothing to do with any religion. In fact, I hardly adhere to my own religious codes. The motivation behind this name is actually a Japanese anime, nothing else.
Secondly, your advocacy of Tantrik philosophy still doesn't justify how he didn't touch Mt. Kailash. Please come up with some specific logic that explains how he didn't touch the base instead. The question is " How did he not Mt. Kailash?" You may consider the justification to be in the scope of explaining this and not mention fathomless spiritual/religious contents.

No, the part of the video did not show you actually reaching the Holy Mountain Kailash at all. I cannot believe that you have touched the Holy mountain at all. The place you kept your hands and the licking of the mountain can be any place. If actually you had neared the mountain the video should be shown. Whereas the last part when you reached Kailash is not shown. So that part of touching and licking is fake and not the Holy mountain that you have touched. You should be honest when taking such videos of such a Holy place where millions venerate and bow with deep devotion to the Supreme Lord of the Universe. You are going there as if you are on a picnic.

What a hilarious video from a man who didn't actually touch Mt Kailash. I did, as you can see in"Mt Kailash and the Walk around the Sacred Mountain." I touched the mountain, but I consider that a very minor accomplishment compared to the people who have prostrated around it. At the end of my movie, you can see a man, with great humility, prostrating around it.
